Definitely not black...gray with black trim. Bought them thinking they would be good post foot surgery, as my foot is still a bit swollen, but these fit small and narrow, and I ordered a size larger than normal and a wide!

I bought these for my mom and they do not seem like a size 9 nor a wide width.They seem sturdy and well made but much too small for the sizing.

I normally wear a 9M. This slipper was way too tight and felt a little narrow. I am going to try a size 10M hoping that will work.

I always wear a 7 1/2 regardless of the brand or style. In this slipper I could barely get the 7 1/2 on and when I did, my big toe touched the end. Sending them back.

This slipper is very comfortable. I ordered my usual size and it was much too short. I have reordered one size larger.

These are probably more money than they are worth. They are just lightly padded cloth slippers. They do look nice on my feet and aren't horrible so I kept them. They were barely long enough and even though I bought a wide width, they fit pretty snugly.

I am sorry to have to return this slipper, but it was entirely too short for me. In addition, though I ordered a wide width, it felt a bit snug. I think it would have been very comfortable if it had been a bit longer.

these looked like something my grandma would wear. They were fairly comfortable, but not comfortable enough to overlook the style.

I'm really disappointed that I have to return these slippers! They are very nice looking but I just can't get the right fit! I usually wear a 9.5 in shoes, so I first ordered them in that size. My feet walked right out of them almost! I exchanged them for a 9 and now my toe feels scrunched up! The support seemed good, but I just don't think I could get used to my toes getting squished!

The wide is not very wide! Too narrow for me, and I wear a 6W. I tried 6W and that was too narrow - I ordered 7W and that is still too narrow!

Needed a new winter slipper and thought I'd try something other than Acorn. I have heel problems and these feel really harsh and hard on my heel with no cushioning. They also aren't very warm and tend to not stay on very well. I'm going back to Acorn.

Comfortable, but are a bit too big. I wear a size 5 and although they fit right when I first put them on, by the end of the evening they were stretched and floppin' off my feet.

I need a narrow, so I ordered a half-size down. The slippers were too short, too wide and no arch support. Back they went.

I am not sure what is going on with sizing lately, but I tried these in two sizes and like Goldilocks, one is too small and the other is too big. This happens a lot with slippers. It is making buying a new pair nearly impossible. Having said that, these are a nice soft style but with a good sole for an occasional walk outside the house.

These are great for wash-ability. A tad short, as my toe wore a hole in the tip of the slipper in no time at all. I rate them okay, but the dog loves to chew on the insole.

There was no support in this slipper. The sides were very soft which unfortunately is a problem for my feet. However, a very attractive item.

I have to send these back because they are too small, as other reviewers have mentioned. If they had any arch support, I'd get a bigger size. They are also a bit heavy, for slippers.

Nice slippers but runs small. I ordered size 10 so I would have wiggle room even though I technically wear a 9.5 size and my toes were up tight to the toe of the shoe. Also would be nice to have widths alternatives.

These slippers are just OK. They are comfy but as other reviewers have noted it's a little odd that they put a label inside where the sole of your foot rubs against it. I cut the label out and there was a sticky spot underneath where they had glued it. I normally wear a 6.5 wide and ordered these in 7. They fit just fine.

I am a younger adult (in my 30s) who wanted a comfortable pair of shoes\/slippers to wear around the house. I wanted an item that didn\'t feel like a fuzzy slipper but gave a slipper-like comfort. I really like these shoes and the comfort and fit was what I wanted. The only issue I have with these shoes is the sole. In the photo, the item looks completely black (that\'s the color I ordered). Black exterior, black interior, black sole. The shoe that I got was all black except for the very bottom of the sole, which is a thin strip of white rubber. To me, this totally throws off the look of the shoe and makes me feel like I\'m wearing old lady slippers. It\'s too bad, too, because other than that, these are the perfect "wear around the house" slipper. I wear them when I\'m home alone and they\'re perfect, but because of the look of them, I\'m embarrased to wear them when I have company (which is the perfect time to have a shoe-looking slipper on since you\'re going to be on your feet for hours but you don\'t want to wear outside shoes in the house). I would not buy these again because of the look. Also, I followed the reviews and ordered a half size up and they fit perfectly. I usually wear a 6.5 and I got a 7.

I really wanted these to work. I ordered a 7 W and it didn't look wide at all. My toes came right to the end and the support that was in them was hard and hit against the side of my foot. I will have to return them and try something else.
