I bought these for working out in and they are very comfortable, I would recommend them.

The shoes are comfortable enough; though I wish I hadn't ordered a 1/2 size larger than normal. They slip just a bit on my heel. I didn't want to return them (though Zappos has a terrific return policy), because I wore them to Zumba class already and I like them.

These seem great for dance or Zumba. However, most of the group fitness I participate in is high impact and involves the step. DO NOT USE FOR STEP!!! There is no side heel support so the likelihood of rolling your ankle is SUPER HIGH!!! I also wouldn’t recommend for classes like BodyAttack. Combat or kickboxing would probably be ok. I returned and went back to the Ryka XT line.

I just received my Rykas, next day delivery for free! Love Zappos. I decided based on other reviews to order a size up from normal which normal for me is 6. So I ordered 6.5, and it is too big. For me this shoe runs true to size I suppose. It feels comfortable for the short amt of time I tried it on, but you can never tell for sure unless wearing them for a full day or to an aerobics class.

These shoes are great for aerobics and dance. Sole is very hard and good for sideways movement. The shoe is not higher in the back so toes don’t get pushed to the front like they do with running shoes when you are doing aerobics. Would not recommend for running or walking.

Purchased for Zumba classes - love them! Great support, but could be a little more cushioned (am hoping this increases with wear). And, although I rarely wear any sneaker or casual shoes on the weekend these have become my "kick around" shoe!

I bought these shoes for Jazzercise. When I first put them on they were very tight in the toe box area. They have stretched out a little. However, I am going to exchange them for a .5 size bigger. I normally wear an 8.5 but need a 9. These shoes are lightweight and move smoothly across the floor.

This pair seems to run a little tight in the width. I have another pair that are fine.

I bought these shoes for BodyCombat after reading the reviews. When I wear them for classes I don't find myself tripping over the shoe like I am sometimes prone to do. I have a very high arch and the support is fairly good. The shoes are great for lateral movements and pivoting. My foot measures a 7 1/2 but I always buy an 8 in athletic shoe and the 8 in the Ryka's fits fine. Overall it's a pretty good shoe but I wish it had slightly more support.

These are nice shoes and very comfortable. They are maybe a tad shorter than I would like but they are comfortable without socks so they work!

I got these shoes very quickly. I ordered them for Zumba and they work great. They are much better then a regular sneaker.

I'm a recently-certified Jazzercise instructor, and I got these shoes as my first 'professional equipment' purchase. At first I was a bit disappointed, since they have less cushion in the sole than the Asics running shoes that I have been using for aerobics. But I switched the original insoles with a pair of Dr. Scholl's 'Sport' insoles, and that made all the difference! I am much happier with the cushion of these shoes with the new insoles. I've also noticed another difference between this type of shoe and my usual running or cross-training shoe; this Ryka shoe doesn't have the little stability edges on the sole that can sometimes catch on carpeted surfaces. The downside is that if you are at risk of pronation injuries (i.e. rolling out sideways on your ankle), which I am, this shoe is missing some of the side-to-side stabilizing features that might prevent ankle injuries. That being said, there is a bit of a tradeoff in that; I like the more dance-oriented design of this shoe. Since there is very little tread (and none of those little edges that I mentioned), I feel like my feet move much more easily across smooth, indoor surfaces. I am also being very careful not to wear my shoes outside, ever.

These are cute shoes! I ordered a 1/2 size up and fit was perfect. I have a narrow foot and they fit, so these may not be great for a wider foot. I've used these for both zumba and kickboxing. They work great and provide the right amount of slide.

I have been wearing these now for a month or so. They are great looking sneakers and are very comfortable for daily wear. I have been using them for my Zumba classes and cardio kickboxing. While I feel that they are great for a dance class, I do find that they don't offer the adequate support for my kickboxing classes in the ball area, but maybe if I added some support in them it may help. They fit snugly too.

Very nice looking shoes and quite comfortable. They seem to be true to size but a bit wide, however, it's not so bad when you wear them with thicker socks. All in all, nice comfortable shoes for zumba dancing.

I bought the Ryka Studio D for Zumba class. At first they felt a little tight, but once I changed to lighter socks, they were fine. I have been wearing them for over 3 weeks now and I love them. They are light on my feet and allow me to salsa, merengue, etc. without any problem. I would order them again.

I wear these for Jazzercise two nights a week and I love them. I have wide feet, and although they do not come in wide, they still fit perfectly and after a couple times of wearing them to break them in, they feel great.

I like wearing comfortable footwear, particularly like having a few pairs of sneakers handy. Didn't want to spend too much on this one so went in for the Ryka Studio D. They are definitely value for money. They are moderately cushioned (not as much as my other more expensive Nikes), light to wear and look nice.

I bought these for my Zumba classes. they look good and you can't get a better deal! I do have to put my arch supports in them, but otherwise I will be back for them again!

Like many other reviewers, I purchased these for my Zumba class. I was wearing my lead-like motion control sneakers to class and decided to try something lighter. The Studio D is very lightweight and makes pivoting and moving laterally much easier - they don't grab the floor. I'm pretty happy with them, but would warn potential buyers with wide feet that these are a little on the long and narrow side. Also, I don't know if it's just my pair, but they are very strong-smelling. I've had them for a while and they still have that pungent new sneaker smell. Makes my gym bag deadly!

I work out four days a week, mostly dance exercise and kickboxing. These shoes have been wonderful. Lots of support and cushion and rounded edges which are perfect for dance exercise. I also like the look; a little sleek and not too bulky.

I love these comfy little Studio D Rykas. They are great for either studio dancing, yoga and/or qi gong classes, or even just around the house. Don't, however, try wearing them on trails; they're a lightweight shoe and simply don't stand up to the task.

I like these shoes. They are lightweight and comfortable for Zumba dance fitness class. There is a good traction under the heel and a smooth spin spot under the ball of the foot. No break-in time needed. They were a little roomy so I later bought size 7s, too. I wear the 7s with my regular socks and the 7.5s with thick socks.

I usually buy the Ryka Studio Mid for my cardio/step aerobics shoe, but I decided I wanted to try these. The Studio D is a good shoe for the exerciser who does a lot of dance-related cardio because the shoe is light and allows for easy movement in pivots, turns, etc. The only thing I don\'t like is that this shoe doesn\'t have the ankle support of the Studio Mid. If your ankles aren\'t a problem, this is a great sneaker.
