The shoe fit perfectly (9.5EE) and is extremely comfortable. There is much padding on the sides and bottom. This is a great shoe if you have to stand all day. I wanted to love this shoe. However. I have to say, I found the style looks a little "cheap" and ungainly in person, compared to the photo. The stitch area gives the shoe a "thick" look, and the leather is treated in an odd way that looks like vinyl. I reluctantly sent the shoe back for a refund. Now, just because it's not my style doesn't mean it's not your style. You might love it. I wish I did.

Had these in black/patent and brown/black and so comfortable and style fine with slacks for work. I bought a replacement for my black pair recently and the fit was off, and leather very stiff. I wonder if they changed manufacturers. I returned them and still wear my very worn brown ones.

I bought these same shoes about 2 years ago, and they were the best shoes I had ever worn. Alas, after much wear it was time to replace them, which I did. Unfortunately the new ones (same model, same size) are no where near as comfortable as the old version, and are almost unwearable. I thought that it would take a bit of break in to get them comfortable, but after 3 weeks of wearing them, they are still terrible. Can I send them back? They are garbage. Clarks, you should do better for that price.

I've worn these shoes on and off for about 6 months. There is an orange plastic insert in the bottom of the sole. I would guess it's decorative? Anyway, walking on low pile office carpet, these orange inserts grab the carpet, and come away from the sole. I glued them in, but not good enough - I almost tripped and fell foward. IMO if this isn't an integral part of the design, Clarks should get rid of these orange inserts in the sole. Also however the leather is finished, it's real easy to scuff the shoe. I would give it 4 stars, but almost falling flat on my face, for that stupid orange sole decoration - I give it one star.
