I hav had Plantar fasciitis for almost a year and wearing orthotic supported and shoes that were supposed to relieve it, didn't heal the problem. Then minute i put these shoes on, i felt a lot better and now it is a sure thing that i am very grateful for these well made and comfortable and supportive shoes. thank You. Tom Hardison

This is my husband's second pair of Clarks in similar styles. He has LOVED them both. He's a teacher and retail store owner and is on his feet all day.

Clarks refuses to make a truly narrow shoe. I like this shoe, but had to return it because although it is marked B Narrow, it simply is NOT a narrow shoe.

Hubby has super-wide feet with super-high insteps. These are perfect for him, and he wears them to teach college every day. Long-lasting, as well.

Wonderful in B width for person with a narrow foot. Not too high in back of heel. And very attractive. Bought in both black and brown.

This is even a better looking shoe than the picture depicts. It is light yet solid and there is no break in period. They were as comfortable as any shoe I have ever wore. Clarks does it again and Zappos is the only way to buy shoes. The selection, service and promptness of delivery exceeds anybody I have dealt with

I like these shoes so much that this is the second pair that I have purchased through Zappos. My first pair served me very well for over two years but it was time to clean up my act with some new shoes. I simply reordered what I had before and I am delighted to say that Clarks still makes the same shoes and they fit exactly as they did before. There is no breaking in with these. They simply fit and are comfortable from the very first wearing. The style is good, the fit is great, and they last a long time. These are highly recommended on all counts.

I love the shoes. I have several Clark shoes and all are size 8. However these shoes are a little too small at size 8. I would like to exchange them for an 8½. I am a big fan of Zappos and appreciate your excellent delivery and quality.

I bought these as a "step up" from my prior Clarks Portland series. They fit similarly out of the box. All leather exterior and interior may have a different break-in interval.

I am really picky about the fit of my shoes. If it does not feel perfect right out of the box, I will not wear it. These shoes fit like a glove from the get go. I cannot say enough good things about them. They look great, feel great! They are very comfortable, there is not a lot of rise in the heel, they let my feet move the way they would if I was barefoot. I am not a big fan of spongy feeling shoes. I have been down that road in the past thinking that the more cush to a shoe the better. That is not the case for me. These shoes have great support while letting the feet move and support my body in the correct way. I can be on my feet for hours and have no hot spots on my feet. These are great shoes. I have only had them for a couple of weeks, so I will see how they hold up. Otherwise I could not be more pleased.

Just ordered another pair of these shoes. I am now on my fifth pair! I am hard on shoes, I should wear boots but I love the comfort and style. I have four of my Salesmen wearing these shoes, they are without a doubt the most comfortable shoes I can find, anywhere for any price! Can you tell I love my shoes?

Great shoe for clean casual dress. Roomy toe box. The insoles are removable. This is helpful for I use a custom insole and discard the Clarks. I am 5'11" and weigh 174 pounds. This is my second pair. Only con is they are not sleek, but I knew that. So if you wear tight narrow leg jeans, probably not for you. I don't wear such.

My second pair of Clarks. These shoes have the most comfortable foot bed of any I have ever owned. I am likely a Clarke customer for life.

I need a B-width and have had trouble finding shoes that fit properly or feel good. Usually wear 13B Johnson and Murphy, these are 12N. These felt very good from the get-go. They are starting to 'loosen up' and spread and becoming less comfortable after about a year of pretty constant wear. They seem a 'fair value' for the cost, though the new listing is more now. Currently looking to purchase another pair.

The arch support, in my opinion, is "adequate" if you're not considered a high arch foot. The shoe is generally comfortable with the exception of the insole...which I would rate as in-excusable for a shoe in this price range. The first thing I did was find a good pair of Spenco insoles and trash the originals. Once I did that the shoe became quite enjoyable to wear. I would not recommend this shoe in the snow, however, as the sole lacks any semblance of traction.

These Clarks have a good insole and are comfortable. I'm a former Clark brand "slip-on" style customer, but I've had to go back to the "lace-up" style because of quality issues. The quality difference between the two styles is shocking. If you're choosing between the two styles... go with lace up.

I originally bought a pair for myself at a Clark Shoe store at my area mall. Their selection of available models was paltry. I took the shoes back, there were no other shoes I liked there and they did not have them in my son's size. I immediately went online to Zappos. I bought the pair I had looked at originally for my son and ordered a different model of Clark shoes for me. Both pairs are extraordinarily well made, solid, excellent arch support, great looking and required little to no break-in time. My son does a lot of walking and these shoes will last him through many, many miles. He loves his and I love mine. Zappos has the best selection of shoes on the planet and your customer service is outstanding.

First pair of Clarks I have owned and they are wonderful. The inside leather is plush and very soft. No break-in needed with these shoes. I use to wear Doc Martin's but they have been completely forgetting about comfort so I ended up with these Clark's. I even bought another pair of Clarks, a different style. My shoe size is a 12, which is the size I purchased, but it feels just a tad larger then a 12, but not enough to return them or anything. Still wearable.

Very comfortable shoe. I bought these because I am on my feet a lot and these have good support. They are very durable. My last pair lasted well over a year and are still wearable but look pretty shabby. They plain looking shoes that wont win beauty contests, but they sure will win the Miss Congeniality portion because my feet really like them.

The shoes arrived very quickly. They were well packed for shipment. The shoes were true to size and comfortable from day one. Overall, an excellent purchasing experience.

Replacing a pair of Ecco Seawalker, which I really liked, but the sole finally started to disintegrate on me (after years of wear.) I decided to go with something different, and found good things written about Clarks. My first attempt wasn't wide enough, had to return and get wide (they run true, I thought I saw some that said they run wide.) My only gripe with them is the heal comes up higher on my achilles than the Ecco did, and without the correct width, that hurt. Wide width seems to have fixed. Wider profile than the Seawalker (due to the Ecco sole glue-on), but not too bad. Comfy so far, only been wearing for a month.

Fantastic shoes. Super soft leather, extremely comfortable. I have a very wide feet and these were the perfect fit. They seemed a little tight the first couple of times I wore them but they are great now. The brown ones are next on my list!
