Beautiful elegant boots. I ordered a half size up just how it was recommended by Zappos. Can't say they run slightly small. Now I have an extra room to wear socks. That is fine. But arch support could be better for a price we pay.

Buy these boots! I have been searching for a pair of stylish and comfortable boots for an upcoming trip to Paris. Sounds a lot easier than it actually is, but you already know that, right? The Ivana boots arrived today (less than 24 hours after I ordered them; thanks, Zappos!) and I love them. They fit perfectly (ordered my regular size, 9.5), and I was a little worried because earlier reviewers noted that they run a bit small. They fit everywhere: length, width, even the calves. I was literally jumping up and down with joy. This is not hyperbole; I have been looking for a while and was getting a little desperate. I thought I was going to end up sacrificing either style or comfort, but I am too vain to give up style and I am too practical to give up comfort. Thankfully, I got both in these boots. You will not believe how comfortable these boots are. The heel is the perfect height, about 3 inches, but a 1/2 inch platform actually brings the heel lift down to a manageable and comfortable 2 1/2 inches. And they look great! If you need boots that look great and will not murder your feet even after lengthy walking/standing, get these boots.

I love these boots. I'm 4'11" and these are perfect on me. The fit is snug on my calves and the height is perfect. I highly recommend these boots for petite women. The lining is also outstanding because it wicks away moisture efficiently.

These are wonderful. My friend had bought the microfiber ones, but they made my ankles look too skinny. These are perfectly shaped, and super comfortable. I walked around a huge flea market for four hours and my feet were no more tired than usual. I think I did read a review to order 1/2 size up, which was good advice.

My favorite boots of this winter. I love them. They are very comfortable and elegant. My size is 6.5, I didn't order half size bigger as other reviewers suggested since I have small calf. And the decision was right. The boots fit me perfectly from day one. Zappos even expedited the delivery at no cost to me. Great purchase experience, great product. I will enjoy these boots for a while before going back to shoe shopping again.

La Canadienne Ivana - I love these boots! They are so cute! Very well made too. The only downside for me is that it has a narrow toe box since my foot is a little wide in that area. To help the boot stretch quicker, I put a tennis ball down in the toe box when I'm not wearing them. It really has helped!

comfortable stylish boots - These boots are so comfortable and can be worn casual or more formal. I followed others advise and ordered a half size larger and am pleased that I did so. There is a liner in the leg so they are heavier than just suede.

In sum: great for dressy or casual, but a bit narrower than some La Canadiennes. I have 2 other pairs of less dressy La Canadienne boots (Geralda, and what appears this year to be the Vicky). I wore them nearly every day in the rain and in comfort. The foot part of the Ivana’s is more narrow and long than these other two styles. Pros: I think they have a beautiful long, elegant, streamlined look, while the wedge heel makes them appropriate for more casual situations. Great with an above-the-knee skirt for dressy or casual! Possible cons: I usually take a size 7 and my foot is a bit wider than average. But the size 7 Ivana is too long so they make my feet look like freight-liners. I am contemplating keeping the Ivana size 6.5. The length is perfect but they are slightly narrow in the foot and calf. ** Does anyone know if these might stretch?

Love the boot! The first 3 days of wearing, there was something sticking out of the sole of the boot that hit my arch, which was a little uncomfortable. I stuffed a tissue there to prevent it from rubbing my arch. The 4th day, I walked all over downtown Chicago with it. By the 5th day, the boot no longer had that problem. The fit was a little snug at first, but after 5 days of wearing, it stretched to my foot. My first few days of wearing this boot were on a trip to Chicago. This boot is so comfortable and good looking!

Very Comfortable, Stylish Boot - Beautiful and comfortable. Does not feel very high. I put on some weight after pregnancy and haven't been able to wear high heels, but this boot is pretty comfortable and it doesn't make me feel like I can't walk. The calf area has a little stretch elastic as well and the boot zips up nicely.

I followed suggestions to order one size up and they were a bit too big so I would say they are true to size or run half size smaller. I had to return them because I didn't like the stitch that runs in the front. It is too rough for the boots of this price range. Otherwise the shape looks really great and they are very comfy.

These ended up being too tight on my calf. I also ordered up 1/2 a size as recommended, and they were still too narrow. It's a cute boot, though, especially for being waterproof. I'm sad it didn't fit.

Smaller than other La Canadienne - This is a great looking boot--more fashion looking than function looking. My last pair of La Canadienne’s I wore into the ground. It was 9.5 and felt huge on. The Ivana in 9.5 barely fit over my foot. Some of this is from the narrow toe box design. But if you have worn other La Canadienne boots keep in mind that these may fit differently. Going to try a larger size!

I've never written a review for shoes but here is my first...I love these boots! I have small feet (size 4.5) and like that these run small. I also have small calves and these fit perfectly. It's expensive for a boot but since it's comfortable, warm and waterproof, worth every single penny to me.

These survived snowmageddon! I've worn these through two winters and autumns, and yet they look brand new. The leather is such high quality, and they couldn't be more waterproof (or snowproof). These look great with skirts and tights...a little snug to try to squeeze jeans into...but I've done it (I don't have thick calves). I love these. You can walk for miles and not even know you're wearing heels.

These are very warm and comfortable; however, they're pretty spendy for a comfort boot.

These are the most comfortable boots that I've ever tried and the only boots that ever fit my skinny legs! However, I plan to wear the boots to work with a skirt and the platform instead of a heel makes my feet look too big (compared to my legs). If these were $100 or less, I would have kept them, but, I have to love my shoes to pay this much! Looks like these are going back to Zappos. Half size bigger fit me perfectly.

I absolutely love them! They are comfortable and stylish. They look great with winter dresses and skirts. I have a wide foot so I am glad that I got the half size up. The footbed is comfortable, but would be better with some more cushioning and arch support. Perhaps I will try with insert. But nonetheless am very happy. I cannot wait for cold weather!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this boot!!! Soft, supple leather. Cushioned sole. Sexy shape. Works well with pants or skirts. Best of all - feels so comfortable while looking HOT!

Wow. These may be the best boots ever. Incredibly comfortable, cute, dressy but not too dressy, impervious to rain and snow. Even on sale, they were a little pricey - but worth every penny. That said, I ordered a half size up based on the reviews, and was glad I did. Even a half size up, I could not wear heavy socks in these. The good news is that they're so warm and toasty, I don't need too. Also, the shaft is on the narrow size, which is perfect for me, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone with wider calves.
