Love these boots! I wasn't sure about the wedge heel, but it is now my favorite part. It is snug on the leg, hoping with more wear that it will stretch a little. So worth it!

Absolutely perfect boot! Fits snug around the calf, which is great. Ordered 1/2 size up, which is a little too big, but now can wear with thick socks.

Love them! Really comfy considering how much height they give me and I can wear them in lots of different situations...work or a night out on the town.

Gorgeous boot. Beautiful and fit great on my feet, but a dab too tight on my calves, so I have to return. Hence the 4 stars for comfort. Will look for another choice in this brand because it is so well made.

These boots are stylish and very comfortable, but they are a bit tight around the ankle area. You should be ok if you wear thin socks and your leggins or tight jeans do not have any excessive mateterial that you have to gather and fold around that area. Not my case. I had searched high and low for a pair of boots with thinner calf (I'm very petite) and was willing to pay such a high price when I found these boots, so I was saddended to have to return them. I normally wear size 4.5 but bought size 5 and felt it was just the right size. I think it is due to ample cushioning inside the shoe.

I really like these shoes for style and comfort. It's hard to find a waterproof (although I haven't put it to the test yet)and warm boot that's also moderately stylish. I'm not sure I agree with the recommendation to go down a 1/2 size. I'm a 4.5, so I didn't have any choice but to buy the 5 as that's the smallest it comes. I made it work by wearing a thick sock but would've preferred to have had my regular size. My friend who also bought this boot sized up a half size to a 6.5, and after a full day of walking, wished she had bought it in her normal size 6.

Loved the boots, but they ran at least a half size TOO BIG. I normally wear an 8, sometimes, 8 1/2, and the 8 was way too big. Otherwise, stylish, warm, nice height.

I wore these all over England for a week in the rain and they always looked good and kept my feet dry. However, the bottom heel is very narrow, which meant a lot of almost twisted ankles walking even on dry cobblestones. The toe box is very square, which doesn't look great, but kept my toes comfortable with a ton of walking.

Beautiful boot but the ankle/shaft are very tight. I wear a size 5.5 (am 5' and 108 lbs.) and the foot area fits perfectly and shaft hits in the right place below my knee. But, my ankles are VERY skinny and this boot hurts my ankles with each step. I don't think the leather will stretch enough to make them comfortable. I will try the next size up as I really love the look and fit otherwise.

If these were less expensive I may have kept them...they fit great through the calf and the width of the foot was good too. The thing that I found odd was the length of the foot - it was about 1 1/2 inches longer than it should have been. Very soft leather and would be nice for long narrow feet.

Loved this pair of boots for the look and feel and except when it came to the width they felt tight and I am definitely in the normal width category. I wish they made this in a wide version. I would snap it up because that I think would actually work for me!

I was a little nervous because I had ordered my usual 8.5 size instead of ordering 1/2 size bigger as all of the reviews have suggested but when the boots arrived, they fit perfectly and I actually had wiggle room in the boot and in the calf area. The wedge heel makes walking in them very comfortable but I have only walked around the house in them so far.

I love these -- super comfortable. Great looking. However, I am really disappointed to see that the leather is pulling from the sole of the shoe along the first metatarsal edge after a few months of wear.

Strange boot. Long in the foot, narrow in the calves (and I have skinny calves). I also thought for the price, the leather could have been more buttery less plasticky. Sent back.

I have ordered La Can boots many times and was disappointed in these immediately. The quality of their leather has declined very much and certainly not worth the price. The comfort level was just okay and tight around my calves. I'm sending these back pronto.
