I love these shoes, but they ran half a size large and even then my back heel slipped out of the next size down. They felt wonderful except that the heel is wide. I wish they would have worked! I am sorry that they have to go back.

The Shoe Fits! I love a wedge and this one is perfect for me. It felt good the moment I put it on and is very comfortable all day long. The only complaint I have is that the ridges in the sole make a squishing sound when I walk on certain surfaces. It's also a bit pricey for a casual everyday shoe.

I was disappointed these weren't as comfortable as the pair I bought last year. This year the footbed is not as padded and the outer heels rub on my ankles. Perhaps this is why they were on sale. I have worn them and will keep them but not order them again.

Great shoe! This shoe is great for me, who has a wide wide foot. So, if you're med or narrow, you may be out of luck! I have a really hard time finding shoes, often requiring a WW. But, looking at the style and reviews of "Gina" I thought maybe she'd work for me...and she does! The black microfiber is stretchy to accommodate my WW foot, but still supports and streamlines my foot so it doesn't look like Fred Flintstone's foot! I do wish there was more padding under the ball of my foot, but it's not bad. I'm short, so hate flats. "Gina" offers a nice lift without the compromise of wearing high heels. I wear these shoes with jeans and with dress pants to work. It's sort of a chameleon shoe - it's not noticeable and sort of blends into black pants. I wear my pants long, therefore this shoe gives the illusion of a boot.

These shoes are so comfortable, from the minute you put them on. They go great with jeans, and especially with black pants for work. The wedge heel gives just enough lift, and makes a change from wearing heels. I have been wearing mine a few days a week for the last couple of months and they still look new. Any spillages on the black fabric wipe off easily with a damp cloth. The only downside is the high price tag for 'non-leather' shoes, but so far they have been well worth it!

Is slightly loose at top across arch. Does allow for socks. I wear only with long pants and it looks like a boot. Very comfortable. Wear them all the time. They did not need breaking in.

Wow! All I can say is this is a wonderful pair of shoes. They look gorgeous and fit like a glove. They are very well made and the fabric is high quality. Great heel and the comfort couldn't be better for me. This is my first pair with La Canadienne and I will buy more from this company.

These are perfect for a comfortable, yet stylish shoe. Easy to slip on/off and the yummy lining (polartec-like) makes them nice and toasty on cool fall days. True-to-size. I will definitely be considering this brand in the future!

Like walking on sunshine, oh yeah. The most comfortable and stylish shoe for all day. Good for travel too - easy on and off at the airport.

I love the La Canadienne brand. I already have two pairs of boots and a pair of flats from La Canadienne. They are all well-made, well-fitting, unique (without being avant garde) and typically perfect for the occasion I wear them for. I had been looking for shoes that would be my go to shoes, something somewhat neutral that would work with most outfits, be comfortable enough for walking around, and be somewhat season-less. The Gina fit the bill perfectly. I wear these shoes to work several days a week. I usually wear them with jeans, nice trousers, or leggings. I haven't tried them with a skirt, but I think they would look good with black tights and a skirt. La Canadienne shoes are a little pricey but I do think they are worth it -- especially these since they were comfortable from the moment I first tried them on and are never, ever painful, and they are excellent everyday shoes so I get a lot of use out of them.

Good height, comfortable. The fabric can get squished, so be careful not to put anything on top of the shoe.

I purchased the Gina to wear on a trip to Europe later this month, and have been wearing them on a regular basis since my purchase. I needn't have worried about breaking them in! Perfectly comfortable from minute one. The wedge heel is just the right height for me, and I feel no stress on my feet at all from these shoes, even after wearing for 12 to 18 hours straight. I have even walked through tall, wet grass to check their water repellent, and they performed perfectly. These are the ultimate travel shoe, as far as I'm concerned. They are un-ornamented, and not flashy; but that means they can be worn with so much of your travel wardrobe, that another pair of shoes is probably not needed. I would recommend the La Canadienne Gina highly, both for travel and general business wear.

The most amazing shoes I have ever worn! Plan on taking these to Europe soon, so they will really get a good work out. I will write a new review when I return from Europe mid-June.

I love them, and wear them every day to work. It took about two weeks to break them in, and now they're perfect.

These shoes were a pleasant surprise as they look quite stylish and are very comfortable. I am used to the Stuart Weitzman type styling and I ordered these on a whim because they were less expensive and thought I would give them a try. It was a good whim because I am very happy with these shoes and wear them during all the cold weather months, and I were up north would wear them all year around. I recommend these shoes, I expect they will last me a long time and not show wear and tear.

The shoe are very comfortable and attractive with pants and jeans. The size was slightly big for me, especially at the ankle, but I have narrow ankles.

I am a big fan of La Canadienne boots and decided to try this shoe after my favorite Taryn Rose fabric and leather shoe became unavailable. I really love this shoe! It fits well and is very comfortable. I love the thicker sole and the fact that it is waterproof as I wear these to commute to work on the metro. They look great with jeans and casual skirts too. This is my new go-to shoe!!

Beautiful, comfortable shoe/boot. Great that it's waterproof and easy to get in and out of. My usual La Canadienne boot size was not available, so I went up a half size and I'm glad I did. I can put an insert in when I want to add a little extra cushion if I'm going to do a lot of walking. Otherwise, I wear it "as is" to get me through a normal day in comfort and style.

It is very comfortable, easy to wear. Looks great with jeans or dress pants.

This is my first La Canadienne shoes, though I own two pairs of boots. These shoes are really comfortable, right out of the box. I walk all over a college campus in these shoes without feeling like I have a 2 inch heel. The wedge heel is stable and the platform makes it feel more like a 1.5 in heel. I am normally a size 5-5.5 in dress shoes. If I'm wearing socks, I usually need a 5.5. The size 5 shoe is still a bit big on me. I had to add a heel pad for the shoes to fit just right. I was worried these shoes would be a little narrow in the toe box, but they have a nice give. I have tested them in the rain and my feet were nice and dry. Looking forward to wearing these in the winter too!

Oh so comfortable! My feet were so happy to put these on. I normally have so many foot issues. These made me feel like I could walk and walk and never feel pain! That's a powerful feeling! So glad I found these.

La Canadienne Gina fits my fairly wide Medium width foot and has plenty of toe box room. It has a tailored look for pants (it is not a shoe for skirts). Has a pavement-gripping sole, and slips off easily for those who may be going through airport check points. Arrived less than 24 hours after ordered. Made in Canada.

This is the second pair of these that I bought. They are wonderful: very comfortable, I can do lots of walking, they give great height, and they are roomy enough to wear with warm socks.
