I went on a two month search for the perfect shoes for touring Paris in the Spring. I wanted a shoe that I could wear trouser socks with that gave a little class, but was comfortable. This is that shoe. It fits perfectly, is true to size, is completely comfortable from the first day I put it on and is as comfortable at the end of the day as at the beginning. I wear them every day at work and am on my feet most of the day. What a great shoe.

These are the perfect travel shoes! Easily slipped off and on through security at the airport; comfortable for walking around all day; feet stay dry when wet conditions occur. I’m a very happy traveler!

Had to buy another pair! Love these shoes. I ordered the dark navy color first, but after a few times wearing them, I had to have the black, too! So comfortable, and I get lots of compliments. Worth the money!

Love this shoe! This shoe looks great with jeans or dress pants, gives you the high and is also very comfortable. I can wear these all day and my feet never hurt. They made boots just like this style last year, wish they still had those, I would buy those too! Great shoe for work if you have to stand all day long.

A great shoe. I have been looking to replace a similar style from a different designer, and this is it. I had paid double for a different brand, but they quickly needed replacing-- this is actually a much better shoe.

La Canadienne Gina! Very, very comfortable. This is a terrific brand and love the fact that they are waterproof for the rainy season. Never had to break in these shoes. Love the Zappos' overnight.

Great Shoe! I was looking to replace a pair of Munro America shoes that I had had for quite some time. Munro told me they were not interested in bringing the shoe back to market. So I searched for a comparable shoe and am I GLAD I did! This shoe looks great with jeans, with expensive pants, with just about everything. It was comfortable from the first wearing. I especially like the fact that I can look chic while running through an airport in these while my feet are still being supported in the manner to which they've become accustomed!

Love love love these shoes - I just received these shoes on Friday and I am telling you, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. I listed to other reviews and ordered a 1/2 size smaller than I am and they fit great.

These are great shoes. Basic style, very comfortable considering heel height, good arch support. As per La Canadienne's usual operations, shoes arrived water-proofed, ready for wintry, sloppy weather. Fabric is a bit loose near top of shoe. This could be my foot as well. The shoes are worth the price. I know I will wear them for years, and they will look terrific with pants or long skirts with tights. La Canadienne shoes and boots are high-quality, and because the company is family owned, I feel good about investing in their products. They last for years with very little maintenance.

Very comfortable. Vamp on 6 M comes up, but doesn't constrict my normally 6 W foot. I have owned La Canadienne ankle high boots made of the same neoprene-type material and they have worn well for years. Great quality even though a little pricey for non-leather synthetic.

Nice shoes. Great heel height, nice and stable. The only bummer is that I think the top portion could be a bit looser and lower. It fits me almost like an ankle boot. Overall, I'm pleased with these shoes.

GINA REVIEW - I absolutely love the shoe - they fit a little bigger than "true to size" though. I tried on the same boots in a store and found this to be true for the boots too. I marked a half size bigger but it's really more like a quarter.

I've been looking for a higher heeled microfiber shoe to wear with jeans and stumbled unto this one. I have several pairs of La Canadienne boots so knew my size. These are as comfortable as Merrells, my all time favorite, but much better looking--a longer leaner line without compromising comfort. I would definitely buy another pair.

Looking for a long time - I love this shoe. Classy, warm, way comfortable and Waterproof! Lots of room in the toe which is why I marked felt large. Good thing cause I can wear my big sox for extra warmth. Second pair of La Canadiennes - so glad I found the company!

Versatile shoe. These shoes are a high-heel equivalent but are more stable, easier to walk in, and more comfortable. They look great with skirts and pants. The small platform makes them especially useful for too-long jeans before they've shrunk. My usual size 9 swam on me in the foot part even with an insert. A half size down is slightly tight in the toes on one side. I'm still not sure if I'll keep them although I love the look.

Sleek, chic and oh so comfy! I'll be living in these shoes! They're really nicer in person than in the pictures. I may even have to order another color, they are that great. And Zappos has to be the best company ever--I ordered them last night and got them today--truly unbelievable service. But that is the norm for Zappos--thank you!

La Canadienne Gina - Absolutely everything you would want in this type of shoe. Very stylish, extremely comfortable immediately, and sharp looking with pants. Almost looks like a boot when worn with slacks. The stretchy micro fiber lends itself to the comfort! Great quality and even though the wedge is fairly steep, still very comfortable.

Great shoes! These shoes are extremely comfortable. The first day I wore them I was on my feet for 12+ hrs. At the end of the day my feet didn't hurt nor did my back! I received many compliments on these shoes. I'm glad I bought them.
