Not true to size, I always get Sperries in size 12, this one I should have gotten in 12.5

Very nice, well made shoe, but there is a narrowing at the arch of the foot that is very uncomfortable so I had to return them.

This is my 3rd pair. All were great before. This pair shoe strings were very short. Had to buy longer strings.

Width seems narrow; I am a D width.the inner sole right side is rough and uncomfortable. Otherwise seems well made.

Having had purchased a new pair of Sperry boat shoes every 10 year sor so for the last 40+ years I was surprised/shocked of how the quality of the shoes has gone down with this latest purchase. Dark tan is not dark at all...little to no cushioning. Nothing is made like it used to be...sad.

Have bought 2 pairs of these shoes every year for the last 20 years. Have loved every pair I wear them basically every day all day. But this pair are not sized right or something Supposed to be wide like all the rest but rub blisters on my feet as if sized wrong or something

I've owned a lot of Sperrys and these particular shoes were the most uncomfortable shoes I owned. On the side of the sole they had what felt like a metal bar sticking out which made it very uncomfortable for me so I had them returned

Had this same pair for 8 years, loved them. This new pair kills my feet. The arches are too high. Trying everything to break them in. Very disappointed.

Shoes ok probably my tenth pair. However I needed shoes and accepted the light colour as there were now dark tan available. A decision I now regret, I really dislike the colour scheme

ordered WIDE bur FIT REGULAR size!! Not happy about that...And I ordered 2 pairs!!! dah!!

For 14W, the length is good but not as wide as other brands. I am attempting to stretch with some success. Using the wet and wear till dry method.

Nice looking shoe, and appears to be solidly constructed. However, it is not comfortable to wear. Wrong size?

There were scuff marks all over the shoes when I opened them, leather on top was also scratched

Great except mine are about a half or one size short- end of my toes are a little squashed, but they may stretch enough to make them work. The shoes not my toes. Sperry is a great brand, but do wish they would manufacture here in the states.

Size did not seem accurate. Width seemed off from previous pair. Heel seems lower, rides on rear of ankle.

A once great product has slipped considerably in quality of materials and manufacturing. Not what they used to be.

Sizes are narrow ordered wide shoes are no way wide in my opinion width is less than normal

I have proudly worn Sperry Top-Sider Billfish shoes for the last twenty years. On average, each pair easily lasted 5-10 years. I only replaced them when I wanted a new look. Their comfort and versatility were unbeatable; indeed, they were the most comfortable pair of shoes I ever owned. I defaulted to them. Around 2017, however, I noticed that production had shifted overseas. This is not inherently bad, but (as others have mentioned), the shoe took on a different look. The insoles changed. The toe box became more pointed. The stitching and overall build quality looked cheaper. After owning a new pair for less than a year, the mesh material in the arch separated from the sole---it literally began to rip out. This NEVER happened in the several pairs I owned from ca. 2000 forward. To their credit, Sperry promptly replaced this pair due to defective quality. Sadly, this has now happened again. Not only are the shoes SIGNIFICANTLY less comfortable than they used to be; my pair from 2018 has now also began to rip in the right arch. I'm very disappointed. In a world where cheap and quick are buzzwords of global commerce, I had hoped that Sperry would stay true to its roots. Sadly, quality has sailed on the Billfish.

Sizing is not accurate. I ordered an 11 extra wide. Much too large. Returned that pair for a size 10 1/2 extra wide. Not much difference, Still too large. Tried to exchange for yet a smaller size but Sperry wouldn't allow that. Had these shoes in the past but will go somewhere else.
