Great Boots! Pictures on site are accurate for color. Boot is comfortable enough to wear all day. It will be stiff right out of the box, but seems like it will break in easily. I have athletic calves and they still fit, thanks to the extra goring. Feels like I can walk in them all day, which is exactly what I will need to do. Footbed has cushion, and does not feel too thin in the forefoot. At first Zappos sent me the wrong size, upon receiving my call they shipped out the correct size without holding my credit card. They are truly wonderful to work with.

I have a pair of the Ropers in an 8.5 These I definitely need a nine. The Ropers are my go-to boot for running errands and walking around town. Hope the York in nine is just as comfortable. Love the footbed and the quality of the shoe.

Thrilled with these! Was going to buy from Nordstrom but they sold out before I could get in my cart. Happy that zappos had them them! These are great for petites as they are lower and more fitted. Well worth the money. Runs a tad small. I wear a 6.5 and ordered a 6.5, and they fit but feel snug. But with a few wears they have broken in a bit and feel better.

I bought these boots seven years ago, have worn them hard and still love them. They are as comfortable as sneakers and even now I get compliments every time I wear them. They are well worth the investment.

These were a gift for my daughter. They fit perfect in the foot bed and calf and she absolutely loves them! This is her second pair of Ariat boots and we are hooked.

I love these boots and can't fault the ranking based on weird fit issues. They are a nice, heavy boot with versatile styling. Plus they fit my slender calves. But I'm still trying to get the right size. The size 10 was huge, not even close to fitting. So I ordered a 9 and 9.5. The 9.5 right boot was way too small, didn't even try on the left. The 9 right boot fit okay but the left way too small. No clue what is going on, they were all marked correctly. Because the majority of reviews say they run a half a size large, I'm ordering one more 9.5. If they don't fit I'm gonna stick with Fryes. What a pain!

These are gorgeous boots! They fit well. Perhaps just the slightest bit snug I the supper calf, but I guess I have muscular calves because they were loose in the ankle and fit perfectly in the lower calf. Color is a great butterscotch brown. I think I will be able to comfortably wear these all day without blistering. The shaft height is great for my height (5'5").

Between my daughter and myself we own three pairs of these boots. She has had hers for 5 years. The first 4 years she rarely wore them because they were to nice for the college campus. After wearing them regularly for 6 months one of the zippers broke. I contacted Ariat, sent them pictures of the boot - including the sole which showed minimum wear. They fully covered the zipper repair including shipping both ways. So far, no more problems. I love love love my two pairs. I wear them often and can walk all day without pain or discomfort. I did replace the insoles with different ones, but I do that to pretty much all of my shoes. I find these to be high quality, well made, very very comfortable and stylish. They are a good travel boot because they are easy to get on and off. Between daughter and myself we also own 5 pairs of the Ariat Paddock boots and I have a pair of their Billy boot. Again, great quality, very comfortable and a good value for the price.

Fits well and looks good for a low heeled boot, however, it's not exactly black, it's sort of an "aged" black. I don't wear that kind of clothing, so the aged western wear look doesn't go with my wardrobe.

I ordered the Burlywood and the Cordovan. They are both very comfortable and beautiful. I intended to return one pair but could not bring myself to part with them. Zappos' customer service and VIP next day shipping are great!

These are great! They look sharp and are very comfortable, though not quite as shock absorbing and comfortable as Ariat's Heritage Roper. Still wonderful overall.

These boots are beautiful! They felt great the first time I put them on! That was today! I have never ordered this brand. I was looking for a comfortable flat boot with style. I like heels but where I work one has to walk a lot so I really wanted a good boot that does not sound like "click, click, click" every time I walk down a corridor. This is it! I have skinny calves and most boots do not look right on me. These fit perfectly and are comfortable, also. Thank you Ariat and Zappos! Worth the money!

These boots are absolutely beautiful. I am normally a 6.5 but ordered a 6 because my usual size was not available; they are a little snug but I think the leather will stretch to the perfect fit. Also I have a pretty narrow calf and these are the perfect width, as I can easily wear them with leggings or skinny jeans tucked in. They have the normal comfort and support of Ariat boots as well. Highly recommend.

Beautiful boot; however, has narrow width. I wear a size 8 but this was just way to narrow to fit comfortably even with a pair of hose.

I thought the shaft of the boot was black. It's more of a distressed gray with white mixed in. I wanted a black boot.

I bought these boots a couple of years ago and LOVE them. I don't ride but remembered how comfortable my boots were when I did. I can wear them all day and my feet feel great. I've received lots of compliments; they look great with jeans and gray or black pants. You won't be sorry with your purchase!

I love Ariat boots and own two pair of riding boots! However, these fit too tight in the arch and were too big for my size. I ordered a size 8. The leather color is beautiful but very stiff through the archway. Too bad it's too tight on my arches. These are going back.

These boots are absolutely gorgeous! I am in love! I have purchased a couple pairs of boots for the fall and these are definitely my favorites. The calves are a bit tight. I hope they stretch a bit the more I wear them. Overall they are absolutely gorgeous. The leather is high quality and they are quite comfortable. These are great boots and I highly recommend them. However if you have big calves, you should pick something else.

I love these boots! I have bad bunions, but small feet and not big calves (about 13"). Also, I'm 5'3". They are incredibly comfortable and stylish. I want to wear them every day. I have lots of different boots and these are the most comfortable ones I own and I am on my feet all day at work and walk a lot. I did use a leather softener/protector on them as soon as I bought them, but they were already comfortable. I put my inserts from the walking store in them and feel amazing. I have the brown but am considering getting them in the black.

I've had these boots roughly a month now and I am in love! They are super comfy and super stylish. It only took one wear for them to break in, now I can walk anywhere and everywhere in them without discomfort. I'm really glad I made the investment on these boots!

I don't even want to tell you how much I love these boots because you will buy them and more people will have them! I absolutely love these boots and get compliments on the every time I wear them. They remind me of my horseback riding days, and yet are very stylish. They do run a bit large; I had to order a half size down. I have plantar fasciitis and have to put orthotics in them. They don't fit my custom full-length orthotics, but they will accommodate a commercial 3/4 length one. I can literally walk miles in these boots without discomfort. The only minor criticism I have for them is that when the boots rub together on the inside (occasionally) the zippers seem to lock on to each other. This isn't really a problem, just an oddity.

This is my third pair of Ariat boots - the quality is like none other because these are literally meant to ride horses! I bought the Ariat York about 4 years ago. I wore them very hard for 2 years before the zipper finally broke. I was devastated because I could not find them again anywhere! I used to get so many compliments on them and they are super comfortable. I then bought a pair of Frye boots, which I could not pull up on my legs and had to return. I am telling you that the zipper on this boot makes all the difference! You can wear it with black and brown because of the two tone. I am super excited to see them back in stock for this fall! Yay!

I just got my Ariats York boots and I just love them! I always have good luck with size 11. I just hope they do not stretch because I plan on wearing them a lot!

I am returning them since the calf circumference is 16 inches and not 14 like the Zappos description says. They felt very comfy but too big in the calf.
