LOVE MY DANSKOS! At last, a super-comfy high boot that is all in all pretty attractive! I've worn Dansko clogs for years but have always worn your basic tall black boot with heel, which is not necessarily uncomfortable but certainly not a Dansko. With the Risa, I now have comfort AND cuteness. Don't get me wrong, the heel is not as attractive as some others, but the comfort more than makes up for it. I needed black, but the brown is lovely in person (saw them at a store). I am wearing them as I write this review and anticipate wearing them for years to come!

Dansko Risa boot - Very beautiful and comfortable from the start. I like the heel; it adds some length to my legs without being too sharp and spiky. The top of the boot has the effect of a turned down edge and is very attractive.

Stylish...almost as comfy as the clog - Dansko clogs have "ruined" all my other shoes, because no other brand keeps my feet this happy after miles of walking and long days on my feet. That said, I was a tad disappointed that these boots aren't quite as comfy as the clogs. I guess I have high arches, because I notice a small gap between my instep and the ball of my feet; that gap shrinks a bit when I put in SuperFeet inserts, but is still noticeable. But the style is lovely, and they hug my narrow calves where other boots gap. I wear a 37 clog but bought a 38, and the fit is right. I love that they make your feet look small. I would recommend, with a slight hesitation because I hate to pay this much for shoes that are not perfect.

Great looking boots. I think the quality of the boots is great. They look and feel wonderful. Dansko did a great job on this awesome boot.

Comfortable, sexy boot - I wear Dansko clogs at work because I have trouble w/ my feet and these boots I can wear; I can walk w/ this heel. I am a size 38 in clogs but went up to a 39 after reading reviews and glad I did. I am 5'6" and they do not go below the knee as I had wished, but that’s okay, they are comfortable and very stylish. I wanted leather, but the suede is what makes the boot.

Great all day boot! Who would have thought you could get a boot that is this comfortable? And it looks really good on. There is no break in period, they are wonderful the moment you put them on.

Dansko does it again - Very stylish looking boot (my teenagers and their friends approve ;-) ) and comfortable. I have a lot of trouble finding shoes wide enough and these boots are definitely wearable for me. I wore them the first time today and had to stand quite a bit all morning. My feet did not even bother me one bit. I am very pleased with this boot. I normally wear a 7.5 wide and the Dansko 38 fit me perfectly.

Fun boot for the baby boomers - Dansko's are the only shoes that don't hurt my feet after walking around in them after an hour. The arch support is wonderful. This boot is very sharp looking and hugs my legs really nice. Buy this boot if you have feet problems and still want to look in fashion.

Great boots - Sizing is true to Dansko. This boot is really comfortable, true to Dansko. It does not look clunky. It is stylish and great to stand in all day.

Dansko Risa - I tried these boots on in a retail outlet that, as usual, didn't have my size. My past experience with Zappos has been excellent. I found them online and ordered them. I had them within a few business days. I love the consistent Dansko fit. I've been a fan of the clogs for years and years. I've received many compliments when worn. I'm going to order a second pair in another color.

Great buy! This is a VERY comfortable boot! I walk in them tons, and I've never had even a hint of blisters! As far as the European sizing goes, you should figure the smaller size end of the translation for accuracy when deciding what size you should get. (I wear an 8 and the 38 was just a little too tight). After wearing these for awhile, they tend to slouch a bit, but it's pretty subtle.

Bootiful Bliss! Love my new boots. Couldn't be happier. Dansko's comfort in a stylish boot. Can't get better then that. Thought they might be a tad smaller when I first put them on, but with the right sock they fit perfectly. Have received compliments every time I have worn them.

Super Comfortable boot - This boot is amazingly comfortable, with enough of a heel to be dressy, if necessary. The only issue for me was that after a full day of wearing, my instep did start to feel the pressure from the boot. So, if you have a very high instep, this may bother you. That being said, I wouldn't say that it was uncomfortable; I was simply aware of it. The new skinny jeans look great tucked into these boots as well.

Most comfortable boots I've ever owned - I was looking and looking for a comfortable boot, and was so happy to come back to my favorite brand, Dansko, to find them! Really comfortable, good quality, too. I wish they came in leather, too.

Happy Feet - These boots are great, they were my first pair of Dansko boots, although Dansko is the only shoe I wear. I work on my feet all day,and they never hurt. I also wear the sandles in the summer. Thanks for such great shoes.

High quality, but not for wide calves - Like other Danskos, these are very well made. High quality suede, with leather lining. These are gems! Unfortunately, they don't fit my 17 in calves. They're beautiful, but they won't stretch that much!

These boots are fabulous! Feels almost as good as my Dansko clogs! I usually wear a wide calf boot, and these fit great. I did end up getting a whole size larger than I normally wear in clogs, 2 whole sizes larger than I usually wear in sandals. Most comfortable boot I own!

Oh! I wish they had fit - I really would have liked to have owned these. But they were too small in the shoe and too narrow in the leg, so no dice. I would order at least a size larger, especially if you plan to wear a heavy sock for warmth. I do not think these would stand up to a New England at all, but would be great for a chilly climate without a lot of slushy weather. They seem insanely comfortable.

So comfortable - I have never worn Dansko shoes before buying this boot. It has a different feel, as if you're standing up taller when wearing it. I was looking for a comfortable boot made for walking and I have found it. Just for your info, it does not come up to the knee, about 3" below

Dansko heaven! Who every dared dream that Dansko would come out with a sexy, high boot to wear with everything? This is my ninth pair of Danskos, and my favorites yet. They are the perfect item for the young professional woman who is not willing to sacrifice comfort for style. Sure, you would not hike in these, but they are great for the height.

To my fellow shoppers with large feet: I'm sad to return these Risa boots, as they are elegant and comfortable - except that they are sized small. A European 42 is NOT equivalent to size 11-12. My right foot is 10.5-11ish, and my toes were in contact with the boot uncomfortably. I'm sorry there's not a 43 available.

Very comfy and stylish - I really like my Danskos, take a bit to break in and stretch the leather to fit your foot perfectly. I had to order 1 size bigger than my normal size. I am very happy with these boots and they are worth the money!!!

I love Dansko, and was so excited to get a boot. I always wear a 40, and this fit perfectly. After days of wearing them, I still have a little trouble fitting them around the top of my calf, and the top of my foot does get a bit sore. However, they are much more comfortable than other boots, and I love the look. I did use leather protector on them before wearing, as others suggested, and that seemed to help keep them looking new. My husband was also amazed that I ordered them on a Saturday night, and I had them Monday morning! Thanks Zappos!

Risa - order one size up - I have several pairs of Dansko shoes and a pair of heels and I needed a size up in this boot - it was too small in both the foot portion and the calf part.
