Great shoe - This shoe is great! Did not need to break them in. I ware these shoes every day to work and am very happy with them although I did add an insert. Some shoes when adding an extra cushion in the shoe my socks would walk down or shoe felt too tight. These worked great with no problem.

The perfect Shoe!! I walk 3 miles a day. I love these shoes because they have good support and are very light!!! I've tried others and these work the best for me.

A Great Shoe - I love these shoes. I bought 2 pairs, one for the gym and one for work. I couldn't be happier. I have a heel spur and these shoes put me back in the gym. I will be buying these again.

Great running shoes - The shoes are comfortable and fit true to size. They have been great for running and I am totally satisfied with them.

Love them! These shoes are very comfortable, and the fit is great. I love the look. I am going to order another pair while I can still find them. I know they are running shoes but I bought them for walking. You can wear them all day and not want to take them off.

Overall good shoe - This shoe is very comfortable and supportive of the arch. I always like a shoe less on my foot (because it's so big!) but this one is really cute on as well.

Love them...no more New Balance - 10 years New Balance shoe... no more. Loved them immediately still do. I ordered another pair next day. GREAT arch support.

I am thrilled with my shoes! I have to give Zappos.com a real "high 5" for their dedication to ultimate service. I have placed three orders in the last few weeks, and every order has arrived in two days or less! And every order has been correct, and the shoes fit to a tee! I'm sort of stock piling the shoes as I can afford to buy them, as I can't find this particular style anymore, and my "knees" find them the most comfortable! Thank you Zappos for a job well done and I will continue to do business with you!

I like them but they seem a bit clunkier than other shoes of the same type. Maybe it is the brand; I normally buy Adidas. I am not wearing them for the purpose intended but just for tennis shoes, so I can't really comment on how they "work", just more how they look.

These are great shoes at a great price. I walk to and from work and wear these. They have been comfortable right out of the box, no need to break them in. When I wear these out, I will get another pair.

The price was right for these running shoes. They are lightweight and have cute styling, but not the greatest arch support. They are also not waterproof. Overall, a decent shoe and a good value.

Mostly good shoes, though they have developed a hole in one of the toes. Also the back heel has worn and I had to reinforce with duct tape (bought the shoes in July, have had these problems since at least January).

Avia works well - Took a little breaking in and my feet did get blisters but after a week they cleared up. Overall great shoe for a good price.

Good Shoe - I am not an avid runner, so I am not comparing this shoe to some of the high end running shoes. But it is very comfortable with good heel support. I use it for light running and the gym. I have found that Avia tennis shoes are very sturdy and long lasting.

Avia A5020W - First of all, shipping was SO fast. The shoes arrived the day after I ordered them, and you don't even have to pay shipping! That was awesome. I bought the shoes to help with my shin splints; unfortunately they hardly have any arch support at all. They do have good cushion in the heel though and they fit snug so it feels like I have good support in other areas. The shoes look really good too. But you get what you pay for, and this is one of the cheaper pairs of running shoes and I'd say they are for beginners only- a person who has been running for a long time might not be satisfied with their performance. All in all, they are a good shoe. I liked everything about them except the lack of arch support.

Ahhh - Wonderful shoe. It's lightweight and conforms so well to my foot. I had moved away from Avia some years ago but I will definitely choose the brand again. As always, Zappos continues to be the best on-line merchant. Service, pricing and delivery are superior. Thanks, Zappos.

This was my first time buying Avia. I have a wide foot and ordered the wide width. It is wider than other athletic shoes that I have bought, but I kept them. Comfy but not as supportive as a running shoe.

These shoes slip quite a bit in my heel. I do have narrow feet, but this is my third pair of Avia shoes and previous pairs fit much better in the heel.

Good shoe for walking, but not great for running. Got blisters in my arches the first time I ran in them. Cute and comfortable for going to the gym, but I'll need another pair of shoes for running.

Cute But Loose. .. Zappos is amazing. I ordered these shoes at 8 or 9 at night and had them the afternoon of the following day. I read the reviews and thought, "I'll give these a try," but I probably should have stuck to the Rykas. The shoes are definitely nice-looking, but I have to pull the laces ridiculously hard to get them to feel form-fitting. I like a secure, snug sneaker.

While these shoes fit true to size, there is no cushioning inside of them. You do get what you pay for. I am returning these.

I've been wearing one version or another of these Avia's for about a decade now. All my efforts to switch brands have failed. Walking in these is like playing on a trampoline or a pogo stick; take half a step and your foot goes bouncing the rest of the way almost of its own accord. The toe box is roomy, the laces allow for different weight socks, and the ride is great straight out of the box.

Love Avia shoes. Every pair I have purchased have been perfect for me, with good arch support, good toe box and the heal doesn't slip. I don't have wide feet, but need a shoe that doesn't squish my toes. I have a good arch and quite narrow ankle. I own some Nike cross-trainers that have been good, but the Nike fit always varies. In fact, I have some old Avia shoes I need to throw out, but they have been so great it is hard to part with them. Perhaps I can now that I have these new ones.

I walked my first 5K in this shoes and they were literally right out of the box. I have bunions and wide feet and have a hard time finding shoes. I can't tell if my feet are getting bigger as I age,so to be sure I ordered the 8.5 and the 9. I kept the 9. I can't comment on arch support,because it wasn't a particular issue at this time.

Excellent experience with Zappos. The product was just what I wanted and the price was excellent too. Delivery was next day which surprised me since I ordered no special shipping.
