Shoes are very comfortable! I was just diagnosed with plantar fasciiitis and was not in the mood to spend a lot of money on special orthotic shoes. With heel supports I purchased separately these shoes are working beautifully!

I have a wide foot and pronate a lot. I really like the cantilever system that helps control pronating and the wide size is very comfortable compared to other brands. What really caught my eye was the fact that Avia offers a wide shoe that is not just white. And a wide shoe in white is just too large looking. Avia is the brand I always return to. I've tried other brands but they just aren't as comfortable as Avia.

GREAT shoe for working out. I was surprised as they were so affordable. Very light, and well padded especially at the ball of my foot. I take a step aerobic class three times a week, and my feet take a beating. Nice support in the heel without being a hightop, I feel stable in the shoe during class.

These are excellent running/walking shoes for the price. I have spent twice as much or more on shoes that are just as comfortable. The support is good and it gives me a spring in my step. I recommend, especially for the great price.

This is the most comfortable sneaker I have ever purchased. I purchased a wide width and it was truly a wide width and very comfortable. The arch support is fabulous and very supportive. I actually came back to purchase a second pair, but they were sold out. You won’t be disappointed with this shoe.

True to size, very comfortable shoe! Haven't worn Avia in 2 years, forgot what I was missing! Very comfortable!

These are great sneakers. I bought Nike and I had problems with my legs; these sneakers are great for walking, not necessarily running.

I use these to run/walk on my treadmill. The first two days they felt a little snug, but that passed. They are comfortable, they look nice and it was a great price!

I love my new Avia athletic shoes. I was drawn to the color of them, I am usually a Nike fan, but I thought why not give them a try they got great reviews. They are so comfortable, just what I wanted and the price was right. I love buying from Zappos because of their return policy and its amazing how fast they ship. I saw these shoes in a catalog and decided to check out Zappos to see if they had them, and they did and i even saved myself $12.00 plus the security that if i didn\'t like them i could return them free shipping. I love Zappos!

Love these shoes! I wish they still had these shoes with the blue and black trim. But they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had, and I've walked miles and miles in them.

Comfortable for walking and running - I use these at the gym and they are very comfortable and look great with black yoga pants all year long.

Great shoe! This is my second pair of Avia shoes and I love them! Walked three miles the day I received them without any problems. Highly recommend them!

Great shoe - I have a pair similar and they have been my favorite for a couple of years. Zappos showed the soles in the picture, which matched my old soles, they the turned out to be a pretty good fit. I ordered them in 2 different colors and the lighter blue ones are just a tad short in the toe, but definitely wearable.

Great shoe especially for problem feet - I love this shoe! I like the fact that I can remove the insoles & replace them with orthotics. Also, with a bunion on one foot, the mesh area in the front of the shoe gives, so no pain in that area, even with a medium width shoe! The other foot had a bunion correction, and that shoe feels great also. I'll buy this style shoe again, can't beat the comfort & stability it gives me. When it comes to comfortable feet, I'm sticking with this shoe!!!! EXCELLENT product! I've had numerous surgeries on one foot & have problems with the other, so I have to wear shoes when I want to walk without pain, these are my pick for no pain when I walk, I constantly wear them until I go to bed at night!

Love these shoes - Zappos, please get more size 10s in - They're so comfortable and I was able to fit all my orthotic supports in them. (That's why I need such a huge size).

Excellent Work Out Shoes - I do anywhere from 1 - 2 hours of cardio a day. Mostly bike, elliptical, no running. I was able to wear these shoes comfortably at the gym on the first day. I did get a little tingling in my foot on the elliptical after a few days, but that happens to me a lot so I wouldn't entirely blame the shoes. My last pair of Avias lasted 2 years. I'm sure these will do just the same.

Great everyday shoe - I bought these shoes (at a department store--hey, I needed the sale price!), and they were the most comfortable shoe for the lowest price. They feel very much like my old Spalding shoes, which I'm devastated to find aren't made anymore. Those shoes lasted me for years, in fabulous comfort down to the last day, and I hope these Avia will do the same. I'm not a runner, I just like comfortable athletic shoes for everyday wear. And because I don't need them to be "high-tech", I don't feel I should have to pay for "high-tech". Frankly, I don't feel that I should have to pay more than $30 for a non-specialty shoe, ever. These Avias, on sale, are just about right. Good padding, snug fit, adequate depth in the heel, and plenty of 'give' in the heel cushioning. I'm not wild about the ice blue color, but you can't have everything.

Sporty fit - I do a lot of walking and this athletic shoe is very comfortable. I needed a shoe with good support and I'm very happy with this shoe's arch support since I have noticed recently a lot of athletic shoes are lacking in support and comfort. I've also have gotten lots of compliments are the style of this shoe.
