I really wanted to like these since they have such great reviews, but they were just not a good fit for me. I have pretty flat feet and overpronate, and the arch of the shoe was very uncomfortable. I felt like the arch was bumpy and awkward, and I don\'t think breaking them in would have helped. The inside of the shoe also poked me in the ball of my foot and caused irritation in just the short time I tried them on inside the house. Unfortunately, I\'ll be sending these back.

Not happy. I'll be returning these. I bought a pair exactly like them in 8W a few years ago and have never had such a comfortable pair of shoes; but even though these are marked 8W, they are not the least bit wide. In fact, I don't normally wear wide and these are still too tight. If I loosened the strings any more, I would be able to tie them.
