Bought these for my high school aged son. He needed a pair dressy enough to wear with a tuxedo for band. He says they are comfortable and we both think they are good looking.

I bought the shoes for my brother more for narrow width than looks. However, when they got here they were gorgeous. The photograph does not do them justice. They also fit him beautifully. I do not know if they were comfortable after a long time, but he felt they would be.

I was worried that they would be too shiny, but I like the look. It took 7 full days to wear them in, but after that they were very comfortable.

I bought these shoes for my husband who very rarely wears shoes like this but needed a good pair. He has wide feet and has issues finding nice shoes that are comfortable. I saw these, at a "too low to pass up" price, and took a chance. He loves them! I ordered an 11 wide and they fit great. He even LIKES wearing them! Now THAT'S amazing! They are good looking, too. Nothing critical to say about these.

Classic shoe that works for any business meeting. Might take a few wears to break in but overall a durable, classic business shoe.

These shoes are what you would expect from Cole Haan, but there is a week-long break in period. Once the discomfort is over, they are comfortable and well worth the price.

Bought these for my husband. He is on his feet most of the day and needed a pair of shoes that were both comfortable and looked great with a suit. He loves these! Only Cole Haan from this point forward for us!

This is my go to shoe. Of shoes in this price range, it will last me a good 4 to 6 months. You can always resole, but the leather does not last longer, so what is the point. It does take breaking in...2 wears.

I received these shoes as gift from my wife. They look great, fit true to size and work well with suit or more casual slacks.

Extremely comfortable dress shoe... I have golf shoes that are less comfortable than these shoes!

Great shoe. I had a pair a few years ago and had to have another pair as they are the most comfortable dress shoe I have owned.

I have seen shoes like this, costing over $1,000 dollars. The shoe has style, comfort, and a great price.

Fit perfectly from the moment I slipped them on. Good construction - should last a very long time. I plan to wear them for more important business meetings and with my tux.

These are great shoes! My only piece of advice would be to scuff the bottom up a little before wearing them for a full. They were a bit slick at first.

These are the perfect black shoe to wear with a suit or just with slacks. They are extremely comfortable and true to size.

Very nice shoe for the money. Timeless styling and, I believe Cole Haan quality is reasonable for the price point of this shoe.

Generally good but size is a little bit smaller than expected. I would recommend other buyers to select half size larger for better comfortability.

Out of the box, I thought they looked too much like a tuxedo shoe but when I paired it with suits for business/church it looked just fine. Structurally they feel solid.

Overall I like the shoe. You have to be careful though. They are a LOT shinier than they look in the picture (at least the black ones). So shiny they almost look fake. The leather is also pretty stiff so it's pretty uncomfortable to walk in at first. I have about 20 hours wearing them so far and they're still pretty stiff but they're starting to loosen up a bit and mold to my foot. I really like the style though (minus the super shininess, which I'm getting used to) and they feel like they'll be pretty durable.

Disappointed that shoe is not fully leather lined as stated in the description. Typical of this price point but description is misleading. More shine than expected but ok for a serious dress shoe. Appears to be well constructed and wide size seems to be accurate (EE). Service was great.

I loved the look of the shoe and really wanted to keep it, but the back, top edge of the shoe was extremely low. Although the rest of the shoe fit well (E Width), my heel would pull out of the back of the shoe with every step and rub against the back of my foot.

Cosmetically the shoes are very nice, although at first so shiny that they look like shoes that you get with a rented tux for your friend's wedding. The leather upper is not supple, so the shoes are not comfortable if you have to walk (i) from the train to your office, or (ii) around a large office building.

I have mixed thoughts about these shoes and have had them a little over 1 month. They are very very stiff out of the box and still haven't broken in; I am wondering if they ever will break in to be honest. The tops of the shoes dug into the tops of my toes on both shoes when walking to start with. I had to put padding on top of my toes to walk every day or I couldn't wear them. After 1 month this issue has decreased, however my heels still slide around a little and get sore after walking in these shoes all day. I am hoping that the elongated break in period means the shoes will last a long long time.

Looks good but very uncomfortable. Very stiff.
