Great shoe my husband got wide one he loves them got to get an other in black.

Solid construction; incredibly comfortable with an air cushion like feel. Leather is top quality and holds a shine very well. Might be the best pair of dress shoes I have ever bought - I'm hooked!

The review that I have to write is about the incredible company that is zappos. Cole haan is an extension to the brilliance that is zappos. We will see how my new two toned shoes will weather any repair man when it comes to that.

Very classy shoe, stiff out of the box but give it about 2 weeks and they get better. This shoe runs about half a size small though. No problem if you get the wrong size though like me, Zappos hooked it up fast with the new pair.

Great fit, very comfortable shoes, right from the start, with a short break in period. Color was just right (red tint like cordovan) and high gloss. Arrived within a couple of days from my order, and no shipping charge!

I just bought my 4th pair of Cole Haan Calhoun. I've had both the black and dark brown shoes. They are great and always classy.

Very shiny like the photo which of course will dull down some with wear. Very stiff as well. But, hey, this is an all leather shoe and as with all all leather shoes it will become more comfortable as it ages. Zappos delivered much sooner than promised! I'm giving the shoes the benefit of the doubt as I have owned Cole Haan shoes before and the last pair took some time to break in as well and when my wife finally made me stop wearing them it was a sad day. I don't love the laces as they come untied quite a bit and the material they are made from seems a little substandard but again I hope these shoes come out the other side of the break-in period as well as my other Cole Haans did.

The shoes have been very comfortable. They are a little shinier than I would have liked but after the first polish, they toned down a bit and look better now. Cole Haan makes nice shoes.

I just received my Cole Haan Calhoun shoes in black. They are so shiny that I had to check to see if I had ordered Patent Leather by mistake - nope, whew! The fit is great, and they feel comfortable. I am looking forward to breaking them in.

Great looking shoes, which appear very well made with quality leather. Good value.

These shoes looked good, and felt good. But the durability really was lacking. The lining started separating from the leather on both shoes very quickly and the stitching has frayed. I've put nowhere near the "miles" on these as have I have Bostonians and the Bostonians seem to hold up much better.

Good looking shoe. I have a narrow foot and it's still a little wide in the heel. The shoe is comfortable.

Styling excellent. Shoe quality excellent. But collar of the shoe, near my ankle bone, has taken a beating that almost makes the shoe unwearable. Only a band-aid makes it tolerable. Disappointing too was the shiny leather makes quite a bit of attention-grabbing noise as I walk down the halls of my office building. The shoe is a very formal style, and, if you like high shine/sheen, this is a good one. And I feel like I probably got a "lemon" pair of shoes as I've had many pairs of Cole Haans in the past and all have been top tier.

I found the shoe disappointing. The look and feel of it was more like plastic than leather, including the sole. The sole felt too smooth to walk on without sliding. I was expecting better from Cole Haan. That said, it was comfortable and true to size.

Stitching on the top front part of the shoe came undone after three days of wear. Completely unacceptable.

Very nice-looking shoe, so glad it comes in a narrow width. Bought it for my teen son who has skis for feet. Fit him very well. I agree with others that the soles were very slippery at first but it was not a problem for very long, it went away the first time he wore them.

Love these shoes. Love Zappos' service. I ordered the shoes online on a Saturday night, and they arrived to my house the following Wednesday afternoon. Could not be more pleased.

My husband wears a size 14 shoe and often has a hard time finding them. He absolutely loves this shoe...in fact, most of the shoes in his closet are Cole Haan. He says they are comfortable and fit true to size.

This is the perfect shoe for me. I have several other more expensive shoes but for most days I wear my Cole Haans. They don't last near as long as my other shoes that's why I buy at least two at a time when I catch them on sale at Zappos.

These shoes are well made and stylish. My husband likes these much more than the box toed version. This is the second pair we've purchased. Now he has them in black and brown.

These shoes (in this color) are not easy to find for a reasonable price. Great deal and great high quality shoes.

These have been around for 10 years or so. I've worn them since they first came out. I just bought my 3rd (and 4th) pair...hopefully I'm good for another 10 years. Timeless style. Only caveat, don't wear them in the rain. Favorite dress shoe ever.

I was looking for the appropriate size and I found it exactly the model and the fit. Excellent shoes. I recommend it!
