Excellent shoe! Probably the most comfortable dress shoe I've ever worn. Also the best looking. Lots of compliments.

Got these for my husband to wear with a tuxedo or other dressy suit. Ordered a 12W. He slipped them on and didn\'t bother trying on the others I had ordered as options. He said that they were comfortable (particularly for dress shoes), looked great, and were a value for the price. I think they look very handsome, well-made, and are a classic style.

Logged on to Zappos to get another pair for my husband. These are really nice dress shoes that last. He has a high instep and a wide foot and instead of a 10 EE wide, which he would take in Bostonian, he gets a 11 D in these. They last longer than Bostonian, but do require resoling every so often.

This is a high-quality dress shoe. There are fine materials and solid construction. I do not wear dress shoes every day, but when I do, I like to have something nice. I wear a size 15 athletic sneaker. I ordered a size 14 in these and they fit great. I have worn these shoes on two occasions so far. They are uncomfortable at first, but I found they broke in quickly. I also find these shoes quite stylish. They have a nice shine and the detailing around the toe gives them an original look. If you want a dress shoe that is comfortable and lasts along time, get a pair with leather soles. I would definitely recommend these shoes. As always, the customer service of Zappos is superb.

Buy this shoe! My husband raved about this shoe and said it was the most comfortable dress shoe he has ever owned. That was even the first night he wore them. What a great buy and the free overnight shipping really was free and overnight!

Cole Haan Calhoun is great - A great shoe with nice style. In the wide width, fits just great.

Cole Haan continues to impress me with quality shoes at reasonable price. These broke in easily and are fabulous.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable, but they are very narrow. In most manufacturers styles I wear a regular width, but for this shoe I had to order a wide.

Nice looking shoe but not much cushion on the insole. They look very nice and are true to color and size.

Nice and comfortable. The leather is not as soft so in the first wear you'll create permanent creases.

Nice pair of shoes, especially for the low price. However, don't expect to get the exact same quality as normal more costly Cole Haan shoes. Yes, very shiny and dapper, you'll get lots of compliments, and your friends at work will joke about how fancy you are.

Beautiful shoe. Looks great out of the box but the shoe did not hold up well with wear. Even with shoe-trees the leather creased very quickly. Not worth the money based on its durability.

Nice shoes very comfortable with moderate break in time. My only complaint is they are very shiny, look like tux shoes which I think looks a little odd. Wish there was a different finish.

These shoes were exactley what I wanted and expected with Cole Haan. Right out of the box they were comfortable and were easy broken in. Zappos service was awesome!! I ordered the shoes late one afternoon and the next morning they were at my door.

The uncomfortable break in period is worth it. Looks very professional and dressy. Unfortunately these types of shoes simply aren't that comfortable in the beginning, which was expected. Rubber soles give more so the break in period of the leather uppers is shorter. All shoes that start out comfortable, unfortunately, don't look as sharp nor do they last as long. I know folks who have had the same Cole Haans for 10 years with resoling. You can't really do that with rubber soles. After the break in period it should be fine. What I really liked was the ability to get wide width in the styles I sought. That is almost impossible to do in department stores. And it was cheaper! It's a no brainer, will order again from Zappos.

Cool Cole Haan - Professional looking shoe, but not the most comfortable.

Destroyed my big toes - The shoe looks great and otherwise was comfortable. However, the shoe has given me horrible blood blisters on my big toes. I have had the shoe for six months and it continues to cause pain to toes even though it has been worn almost 200 days for 9 hours a day. I never had any problems with any shoe before this. This was my first Cole Haan shoe.

These shoes do look nice. They fit well also. However, the soles do not have any grip on some floors. If the floor is marble, porcelain, or freshly waxed, then you can slide easily. You can even do a moonwalk.

First pair had a defect in the stitching on top, exchanged and now I've owned these shoes for 9 months. I am on my feet all day long and wear them at least 5 days a week. The soles need replacing and a small irreparable crack/hole has formed where the shoe flexes near the stitching on the top. Also the insoles have started to deteriorate. Considering I didn't use shoe trees and was generally very hard on them I think they held up OK. However, I was hoping that for my investment that they might last longer. They are easily the most comfortable and best looking dress shoe I have owned.

At least 1/2 size longer than expected. For a wide shoe the toebox is too narrow and the heel pocket too big.

I did not like the smooth sole and felt it needed more traction. I also felt the shoe was not true to its stated width. I never thought I was a wide until this shoe.

Runs a little tight - Nice looking shoe but too tight. I always wear 10.5, but not in this style. Love Zappos, though.

After a few weeks, strings on bottom of shoe started to come loose. After a few months, the sole began to develop a hole near ball of foot, even before the rubber heel wore down once.

...ooh the pain! I was very excited about these shoes! The style was right and they had them in my size (stylish size 14's aren't always easy to find). During the first few days, I assumed the pain would end and they would eventually break in. It has been two weeks now and unfortunately I'll just need to stop wearing them. The size was right, but they were just so stiff and seem to cut into my foot in all the wrong places.
