Love, Love, LOVE! I bought these boots because I spend some time each day in a huge make-shift parking lot (translation: muddy field). I needed something that I could slip on and off easily and would also protect me not only from the mud and standing water, but from the tall grasses and (yikes!) ticks. The Hunter Original proved to be a Great Buy! These boots serve the purpose that I needed them for, and look adorable in the process. I purchased them in the orange color, which most certainly stands out. I can't wait for the rainy fall and winter so I can wear them around the city. Be sure to wear some type of sock when you have these on for an extended period of time, because the rubber will give you a nice blister if you don't!

The boots were everything that we expected. They fit well and we were impressed with the Zappos service.

I Love Rainy Days, Hunter Boots, and Zappos! I have ordered several pairs of these boots and have found that they can differ slightly in length and width and now understand the comments from both people who feel that they run a half size larger and those who think they are true to size. I don't like my toe pressing against the end of the boot, so I prefer to have them a little large and wear socks. As far as the calf being tight, I have skinny legs, so I have no problem tucking jeans in these boots, but I did see another Hunter boot at Zappos which is designed for people who find these boots a little snug in the leg area. Hunter boots are beautifully designed and manufactured and I can't imagine a better rain boot or one more stylish. I have them in two of the botanical prints as well. Zappos is the fastest internet store ever, both with delivery and refunds and their customer service is outstanding! What a combination - Hunter boots and Zappos.

Perfect yard boots for the farm - Bought them because we have wet lands around our house perfect for the mud and muck - feet dry and comfortable in them.

Comfy and functional! These boots are just what I was looking for. After a long search for rain boots, I wanted something classic, comfortable, stylish, and a good fit for my thinner calves. These are perfect. LOVE the navy color.

Hunter Original - Boot feels great...a little larger than I expected, I actually had to return the original pair and the new pair is still a little big but I brought the bootie sock to go with it so that makes up for some of the room...all in all a great rain boot.

Great boots - I was introduced to Hunters when I lived in England over 15 years ago... I have never used another boot for the rain and muck since. These are a bit tight around the calf- but I don’t tuck my jeans into the boots anyway- so it is ok. I am so pleased that Hunter has updated their look by using metallic and glitter. These are my fave for sure! The foot part of the boot works well- But it is a bit tight around the calf. Perhaps working in them will help stretch them a bit...

Wellies in the Correct Shoe Size - I bought these Wellies and I read the reviews some saying to buy them a size smaller too because they were roomy, I think the more civilized of us agree with the roomier version in your correct size -- especially if gardening. I resisted the urge to buy four pairs but know I'll eventually end up with just that because I now want the rust and lilac colors in addition to the black and totally rock and roll aubergine -- look black but are really dark purple. The sparkly ones may take precedence over the rust ones -- not sure -- bought them in the wrong size and sent them back BUT, I wish they were black with sparkles rather than blue with sparkles. They were still pretty cool though. I think though I should get some colors just to make me happy. Any way you slice it, with a nice trench in beige or black, with glasses, and a nice nice bag, you look like you've got your act together in the rain.

These boots...genius! I had waited 3 years to splurge $100 for rain boots and now I could kick myself for waiting so long. These boots have actually improved my mood disorder that is normally triggered by rainy NYC mornings when commuting feels more like navy seal special operations training. They are sleek and lightweight. I find myself wearing them even when there is just a slight chance of sprinkles.

Great Boot! I ordered the Hunter in red and LOVE it! They don't come in half sizes and I'm a 9.5. I ordered the size 10 and it fits great with a pair of socks. I can tuck my jeans into the boot just fine and it looks great. The boot also looks great with my pants pulled over. I would definitely recommend this boot if you are looking for a pair of gardening boots or boots to wear out on a rainy day!

Hunter Boots Are Awesome! This boot is a classic. They fit very well, are comfortable to walk in, and best of all, they don't slide off your heel! I can't wait to buy the socks for them next winter. No more polka dotted kiddie rain boots… thank God!

Hunter Hunter Original - I wear a size 5 1/2 and the 5 is a little big on me. I find these boots to be a little big for petite woman. Overall they are good strong boots and seem very durable. I didn't know how to choose a color because they are all so pretty, but I did decide to go with the red ones. I love that you can fit just about any pair of pants inside the boots. This will really come in handy when I am walking to my work building from the parking lot when it is raining outside.

Almost perfect! After searching for months with constant orders/returns from Zappos, I finally found the (almost) perfect snow/rain boots! These boots made winter in the midwest so much more bearable; I was able to walk through snow, slush, sleet, mud, and puddles without worrying. These are also great for the rainy spring season. My only complaint is that there isn't any arch support, but there's enough room in the boots for sole inserts, which make them much more comfortable.

LOVE these shoes!!! These are the best rain shoes I ever had... got them in black. They're very comfortable and look wonderful with jeans (really classy)! They run big though - I normally wear size 5 and felt that Hunter's 5 is more like a BIG 6... woolen socks or good thick shoe inlays necessary… but the way these rain shoes look on your feet - you will love rainy days!!!

The reviews helped - I read the reviews and bought one shoe size smaller than my foot. They fit great. I also bought a pair of wellie socks. The boots feel like they fit better with the socks.

Great boot! The boot is great! They are comfortable and look great. I love wearing them. The Merlot colour was a good choice. Definitely buy a size smaller. Its so nice to have a boot made for people with thin calves. It fits perfectly in every way.

These boots are awesome! These boots are the best. So cute and comfortable. Definitely buy a 1/2 to a full size down, but expect them to be pretty narrow on the calves.

The classic wellies - Love the boots, color is good, quality is excellent. I wear 6 1/2 so put an insole inside the size 7 and they fit fine. I'm about 5'3", so they are slightly tall on me - I wish they were an inch or so shorter. Otherwise, they are perfect.

Hunter Wellies Rock!!! These boots are the best $100 I've spent in a long time! I coach a crew team and find myself spending early mornings in water logged boats. Chilly Chicago springs with wet weather are common race day situations and these wellies are comfortable enough to wear all day and keep my feet super dry. In really cold weather a thick pair of socks does the trick. I love these boots!

Perfect rain boot and worth the price.... I, like all the others, was not sure if this rain boot would be worth the price tag. It definitely was! It is not only comfortable and can be worn the length of the day, but stylish as well. I too wear an 8-8.5 and I ordered the 7 and it fits perfectly. I hope this helps those who are not quite sure what size to order. The Merlot color is fabulous.

Hunter for All Seasons! I continue to be surprised by how much I enjoy wearing my Hunter classics-even now that the weather is warmer. I first tried (and fell in love with) my Hunters in the winter snows. I now find myself pulling them on again and again to muck around my ponies and even with shorts while gardening and doing yard chores. They are mighty comfy, secure, no more dirt in my socks and I feel ever so more comfy in the "wilder" areas of my property- Although I live surrounded by nature, snakes and things give me jitters so needless to say- my knee high hunters give me lots more confidence outdoors plus they keep me and my clothes much cleaner! I keep em by the door and find them oh so easy to step in and out of. Fun fun fun!

Great Buy on a Quality Item - I can't remember the last time I've been so pleased with an online purchase. The boots arrived within two days!!! And they cost less (when shipping was factored in) than the same exact pair on another website. I've been tromping around my back yard in these and they're exactly what I was looking for. Great quality. Love them! (Note: I'm normally a size 7.5, but ordered a size 7 - as recommended by other buyers - and these fit perfectly.)
