LOVE THEM - I have been wanting a pair of hunter boots for quite a while now and decided to just bite the bullet and buy them. I am soooo glad I did - I absolutely LOVE them!! They are so comfortable and so cute!! I wear a 7 in boots, so bought a 6 and they fit perfectly. I rec'd them the next day too - which was awesome!! I highly recommend them!!

Love my Hunters! I love these shoes! I got them just in time for a bunch of rain in the fall. They do get that waxy coating on them, but supposedly it just wipes off. I haven't tried because it doesn't really bother me. I find these much classier than the shorter, patterned rain boots. They have kept my feet very dry. Order a size smaller than usual. I usually wear 9s and the 8s were perfect.

I love these boots!!! Everyone should own a pair of these boots! The sizing comments on here were correct - I usually wear a 7 so I ordered a 6 and they fit perfect :) We've had quite a bit of rainy weather lately and these have been so fantastic when I have to walk the dog - easy to slip on and off! I can't say enough good things about these boots and Zappos too - I ordered the boots on a Sunday and got them only a few days later even though I opted for the standard slow delivery! I'm buying all my shoes from Zappos from now on...probably a few more of these Wellie boots too!

A good welly - I am VERY excited about my hunters. They just arrived in the mail today and, lo and behold, it is raining in Chicago. I'll be wearing them today. I wear an 8 and ordered an 8. I tried them on with thin socks and there is about an inch of space between my toe and the tip of the shoe, but I am deciding to keep them because they are still comfortable to walk in.

I love these boots! Love them! They fit great, are comfortable and now all I need is rain so I can wear them :) Everyone said to order down a size - I am a true 7.5 (women's) so I ordered a 6. They were definitely on the tight side, especially with heavy socks. I ordered the 7's and they are perfect. Zappos was fabulous with the exchange/return I received the 7's the next day and could try both pairs on side-by-side to compare. Overall I am very satisfied :)

Very nice rain boot - The other reviews are right about this boot running large. I usually wear a size 9 or 40, but I ordered a 39 in these and it's a perfect size for me. Even with socks (but nothing SUPER bulky, just a regular sock, even a wool sock would totally fit). Cute and classic. The calf space on this boot is narrow. If you have big calves or if you want lots of space to tuck in thick corduroys or something, go for the Huntress style… but I think these will work great with sporty skirts, jeans, etc.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I now have 2 pair. I purchased a green pair 2 years ago and just got the aubergine this week. I could live in these boots! Zappos.com provides the most wonderful service I have ever received from an online retailer. I ordered my boots Monday after 3:00 (west coast) and they arrived on Tuesday, early in the afternoon. Speedy delivery indeed!

I love my Hunter boots! I got them in Merlot, and the color is beautiful. I got the size 40-41, thanks to the lovely reviewer who suggested getting your Birkenstock size. I wear European size 40, US size 9. I have thin legs, and so far, the pair of skinny-ish jeans I tried on with them fit in the boots. They are tight at the top, but that's not really what matters when you're squeezing pants into boots – what matters is that there's room at the bottom, which there is. It helps that they're snug at the top, so pants stay put and don't get bunchy. I just can't wait till fall so I can wear them – it's still too hot here for rubber boots. I placed my order from Zappos around 10:00 at night, and received my boots the next day! I couldn't believe it. Zappos really gets customer service right.

So pleased! I absolutely adore my Hunters! I had been drooling over a pair owned by my best friend and finally caved. This boot is a dream-come-true for those with tiny calves, such as myself. They are excellent for tramping about in the garden, are easy to clean, and beautifully stylish. Usually a size 6.5 or 7, I took the advice of those Zappos shoppers before me and ordered a size down – a size 6. I'm glad that I did because they fit perfectly and I even have enough room for two pairs of socks. Never have I fit into a size 6 before and never has it felt so comfortable!

I ordered the black boot a half-size smaller than my usual shoe size as the boots don't come in half-sizes and previous reviews had stated that they run large. My boots fit perfectly with room to spare to wear thick socks comfortably. I bought these boots for college, so I have not yet worn them, but I love the way these boots look and cannot wait to tread through the rain in my new boots!

Love them! I recently purchased these for an ATV trip, and what a great investment! Not only are they comfy, but my feet remained dry and mud free! And the best part, just hose them off to clean. Also the traction on them was great. I did not find myself slipping and sliding through the water and mud. Also I like the fit at the top of the boot. Definitely a purchase worth every penny!

Hunter Wellies - For a rain boot this one is well constructed and very comfortable. The men's sizes are marked properly but the women's sizes are off. For example, in the US a men’s 6 is usually a women’s 8 but one these it says "men’s 6/women’s 7". So if you know your men’s size you should go by that. Other than that I have wanted these for 10 years and finally got some.

Love them!!! <3 - I just got my bright red Hunters. I absolutely adore them. Not only do I feel stylish when it rains here, they keep me dry, and I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they are. My new favorite footwear. :D

Love My Wellies - I do like these boots. I like the classic style, like having dry feet, and have found them to fit true to size and have no problems with calf width and tucking in jeans. It's true, however, that for the amount of money you spend for these boots, you can feel every bit of the ground beneath you and there really is zero arch support. And for short people, these are tall boots. I'm 5'3" and they hit right at my knee. I do spend many hours in these boots and even though my feet are sore at the end of the day, it's still better than wearing waders all day long (I work in swamps!).

Cutest wellies ever - Comfortable rain boot, buy one size down, runs big. (If you're an 8, buy a 7) Super cute!

Great boots - I had the Sperry Tall Pelicans and they ripped in about 2 weeks so I thought I would try the Hunter boots. They are very well made and I think will last a long time. They are a little hard to get on and off when the weather is humid and the material on the inside can chaff some again when it is humid. But otherwise they are great. Very cute and durable. I got the Hunter green color and love it.

Great boots! They do run a little big as everyone has written. I ordered a size down and they fit perfect. They are comfortable and I have room for socks. I would buy again and I do highly recommend them.

Runs large, very large - These boots are great. I bought them in brown and plan to wear them in the rain, snow, and mud. Normally, I wear a size 6-1/2 shoe, I had to buy the boot in a 4/5 and there is still room for a sock, so be careful when ordering your size. GREAT BOOT!

Love these boots. I am on my feet 10 to 12 hours a day and they are great. I get lots of compliments wearing them. The only things is they are absolutely not breathable and my feet usually get very sweaty. But they are comfy and I get compliments.

Best in Class - Hunter original Wellies are the best in class and comfort and styling in a rubber boot. They are also very retro stylish.

Great Boots - These are the best rain boots out there. I got them in black but the colors are nice as well. I'm normally a size 9 and the 8 fits perfectly, so keep that in mind. Enjoy!

Stands up to serious ick! We own a farm and this boot has been wonderful for tromping through wet fields, mucking nasty stalls, and fording marshy streams. It simply doesn't leak at all and hoses off nice and clean each time. My only complaint is that the top of the boot is a bit snug on my largish calves. There is no way I can squeeze any pant in there, so I'm forced to do the lovely rolled up look. Also, be aware that they can be hard to get off as the weather warms up.

Awesome boots! I had been looking for a decent pair of rain boots to wear in the water and around the garden- and these are it. I took the advice of other reviews and ordered a size down and was glad that I did. They do run large. Well worth the price, and the classic design will never go out of style. I couldn’t be happier!

The best waterproof boot - I live in this boot year round. In winter I put in liners and I am warm in snowy Western New York. This is the most comfortable boot I have worn in my active outside lifestyle. I have tried others, but this is the ONLY boot I will buy.
