Couldn't be happier with the style, fit, color and make-up of these boots. I did a lot of shopping around and nothing else out there compares to the value and fit of these wonderful boots!

These boots are super-trendy right now in NYC! If you are tall and have thin legs, these are the rain boots for you! They really accentuate long thin legs. I am short and have big calves, so they don't look as good with pants, but with tights and a mini they look great! I had a pair of Chukkas; terrible investment! They leaked, as in, by the time I got to work my socks were wet! And then the back seam came apart! My feet stay dry in the Hunters and they are not as heavy as the Chukkas, and the foot is ergonomic, as in my feet don't hurt if i wear the boots all day. I wear a 6 1/2-7 in shoes and my feet are kind of wide. The size 6 boot fits perfectly, I even had room for an arch support insole. The color is great; I got merlot. It's not a bright fire engine red, its closer to a wine, so it looks good with brown, black or tan coats. I'm short (5'2") and the boot stops just short of my knee, so I can wear them comfortably. My calves measure 15" (I checked) and the width is barely okay if I wear tights or a skirt, unfortunately, I cannot pull them over pants legs because my calves are too big. So I just cuff my jeans as high as I can; boots still look good! Most importantly, they keep my toes, feet and lower legs dry during rain! Good quality, although the white waxy substance that is supposed to come off with a soapy sponge is still on the boot. But I now splash through puddles with impunity, and that's all that matters to me!

I got these boots a few weeks ago and I absolutely love them. I wear them almost daily while walking my dog to keep my feet dry from the wet grass in the morning. They are comfortable, sturdy and look great. I always get compliments on them as people see me walking. I typically wear a size 7 to 7 1/2. These run pretty true to size. I got the 7's and they fit well - a little roomy but that's okay since I usually wear a thicker sock with them. One note: they come with a protective wax so you may have a white sheen to them, which you can rub off with a wet cloth. You won't be sorry if you decide to buy them. I'm thinking of getting another color.

These are the greatest boots and worth the price! I have tried several other rubber knee boots and they do not have the support or the quality these boots have. I walk daily with my dog through woods and fields and wear the boots to keep my pants from getting wet and avoiding ticks. They meet or exceed my expectations. I also ordered the boot liners for winter use! They are simply just what I needed!

I purchased these boots to get me through the cold, wintry rains in Gainesville, yet they also work well in the humid thunderstorms I experience in South Florida when I\'m away from college. They are tall enough to wade through deep puddles in the swampy terrain, tight enough on my calf to keep out the pelting rain, and comfy enough to wear for hours straight. I purchased a size 9 even though I\'m a 9 1/2, yet they fit perfectly with a pair of wool socks and tucked-in jeans. I never wear them with shorts or a skirt because they tend to move around on my calf and slap me lightly with each step, but if you purchase a knee-length sock to go with them you should be fine. I purchased the boots in Merlot and they match every outfit easily because the color looks almost like leather - it\'s beautiful, and I get frequent compliments. Very good quality - if you take care of your pair of Hunters they\'ll last you forever.

Wow - what service. I ordered these boots along with two pairs of shoes. They arrived the next day. My Hunter boots are fantastic. I also ordered Sperry - get wet sailing shoes. My husband and I always have a pair of these. They are perfect for the boat as well as just casual living. Zappos is a favorite!!

I ordered a pair for a week-long workshop that involved a lot of calf-deep mud and wading through streams, and they didn’t disappoint me! Totally leak-proof, and for Wellingtons, they were quite comfortable. They do run a bit large: I wear a women’s size 8.5, so I ordered an 8, and they were a perfect fit. I went from never wearing them at all to wearing them every day for a week, and I didn’t get any blisters - just one slightly sore spot on my heel. I’m quite pleased with them, and I’d recommend them to anyone traveling in wet areas. The instructor of the workshop was wearing the same boots, by the way.

These rainboots are fantastic. I already have the Midnight Sparkle and the of course the Hunter Green. They are so comfortable, and the snug fit on the leg is perfect for walking in the city or out in the country. They also go with either a pant outfit or with a skirt, and of course are a real fashion statement. I've always ordered the same North American size, and never been disappointed. All three of my pairs look great with the red wellie liners as well. Trust the Brits to come up with something so practical - but then if you ever lived there, you need wellies to deal with the weather and the distance from the car park to the shops!!!

These boots are FANTASTIC!! I am only 5'2" and have skinny legs, so I worried about whether or not I would feel good in these, but I love them!! Yes, they're tall - they hit me just below the knee, but in the torrential rains I recently experienced, I was glad for that fact! They don't fit tightly around my calves, but they look perfectly fine! The gap isn't so big that it's funny looking. Besides, I prefer to tuck my pants in to keep them out of the elements, so there is plenty of room for that. They simply remind me of my riding boots, only more comfortable. I generally wear a size 6. Once in a while I can manage a 5 1/2 and even more of a maybe a 6 1/2. I ordered UK3 EU35/36 US4M/5F and the fit is ideal for me. Easy on and off, but no slippage going on that would hinder walking. They are as comfy as a field boot is going to get folks! I have mucked around in horse excrement, I have taken my hounds out for exercise, I have kicked around for 4 days at a dog show in rain, hail, and sun and I have cleaned them up and worn them in town when there was rainy weather coming. They're perfect. I even recently ordered a short boot. I also ordered a pair for my husband for father's day. I highly recommend them! I do have other brands of "wellies" but these are my most favorite!! Go with the Hunter. :-)

These boots are great. It's been raining almost nonstop this whole spring and these boots have not let me down during my hikes and hunts in the backwoods. I followed the advice of some of the other reviewers and ordered a size down and the boots fit perfectly.

Just got my boots today and love them! I usually wear a 10 but followed the advice of all who posted here and ordered a size down. Fit well even with my thicker socks. I have had no problem tucking my jeans into this boot at all. I am 5’5” and the boots hit just below my knee. Now I am actually hoping the rain keeps up here in NY so that I can wear my boots!!!

LOVE these boots. I like the tighter fit around the calves since it turns these utilitarian and practical items into a fashion statement as well. I heeded others' advice about the sizing; I usually wear a 7.5 to 8 shoe and ordered these in a size 6 -- and they fit perfectly. I have yet to test their total waterproofness (something other boots I've had cannot boast), but feel confident with Hunter's reputation that they will stand the test!

I got the classic black and they look terrific with dark skinny jeans or even my pencil skirts for work. A thick pair of socks and no blisters during the twenty-minute walk to the office.

I ordered two pair - one in my size (7), and based on another review, one a size smaller (6). The size smaller was the better fit. Be warned - they basically run a whole size bigger.

These wellies are absolutely amazing! They are so comfortable to walk in and look great any way you wear them. I have worn them with shorts, leggings, and jeans worn inside and out and all styles look fabulous. This is definitely a must for rainy days any time of year!

I love these boots! Great for rainy, muddy weather. However, I followed the advice to order down a size and they were too small--had to send back. I normally wear a 7-7.5, and the 7 fits perfectly. It's loose enough to add a softer footbed insert. Definitely recommend!

I love these boots. They look good and will get you through any weather, but you might need thick socks to make them more comfortable for walking long distances.

These boots are great! I just purchased them a few weeks ago. They are perfect for the city streets, where puddles are unavoidable on sidewalks and in subway stations. Worth the price, from what I've seen. My only complaint is that they are hot. This will probably be swell for fall and early spring. Right now, though, if there's only a "chance" of rain, I leave them at home so I'm not overheated on my commute. Very comfortable, I may try the accompanying boot sock.

These are the comfiest rain boots ever! Ordered a pair in orange and I absolutely love them! You can't go wrong with this brand. I'm a 7 but it fit a full size too large, go a size down.

These are great boots! Very comfortable and durable for the New York winters, they also add a little bit of height without looking chunky and the sleek, fitted calf means that I don't have to feel frumpy and manly in rainy weather. The only drawback is that if its warm or humid outside wearing these boots all day can get a little sweaty since they're solid rubber and not very breathable, so I'm still looking for some kind of warm-weather alternative.

I bought these for my daughter for her 14th birthday - they fit great and lucky for her we have had a really rainy month and she has worn them everywhere. I will be buying a second pair for her sister.
