Old School Classic Prep - I have been eyeing these boots for a while, but could not justify the price when I had perfectly good working boots in the closet. So when my boots suffered a tiny mishap, I was quick to order these as a replacement. I love these boots. They are classic, clean, preppy, woodsy... the list goes on. My only complaints are they have a low arch which does not provide a ton of support and being petite (5'3), the shaft rises a bit too far at the knee and gets in the way when sitting in the car and driving.

Boy, do I love my Hunters - I'd been looking for a good sturdy rain boot for a long time and had been eyeing Hunter's, but was a little put off by the price. I can be pretty hard on shoes and I knew those cheap, flimsy rain boots didn't stand a chance, so I bit the bullet. The week I got my Hunter's, it rained every day for the next 5 days so I had plenty opportunity to take on the big puddles. I do like more padding and support, so I put in really good arch supports and that keeps them comfortable for hours... Love them, Love them, Love them.

I just ordered a pair of black Hunter Original's. I am 5'4 and have fairly muscular calves. I usually have a hard time getting knee-boots to fit over my calf but these are perfect!! I read previous reviews about ordering a size down. I normally wear a solid 7 but I decided to order a 6. They fit perfect with a pair of regular socks and I believe I could even wear a bit thicker pair if I wanted. I am super pleased with my new Hunter's. Hope my review helps!

LOVE the look - but not the most comfy boots - Ok so how awesome is it to be able to walk right thru a puddle instead of going around it? It's thee best - if you don't have a huge blister on your right heel because Hunter doesn't make half sizes and your boot is just the tiniest bit too big. Wear 2 pairs of socks, or get some Dr. Scholl's insoles, and they should fit better. Enjoy!

Hunter boots - These boots are great, very comfortable, they are taller than I expected, they are great for rainy days, look super cute with skinny jeans

Love them! Fantastic! Grew up with these boots as a kid and still love them as an adult. They're perfect for the unpredictability of Chicago weather year round and the wine color is gorgeous!

Great Rainboot! I never thought I would give in to ever wearing rain boots but they are great for working in the yard or running errands in the rain. They are sleek and TALL shaft so very fashionable. They are lined with nylon or something so the inside isn't just more rubber. Check out the Welly Socks that go inside! Super warm and cozy.

Quality? These boots are great, even in a warm climate & have so many purposes when wanting to keep your feet clean & dry....taking the dog to run in a wet field, pressure washing around the house, hosing the pool deck, spraying chemicals on the yard, digging and planting. I have a high instep, bought a size larger than I normally wear & have no problem slipping them on and off. Pricey but worth it. Have purchased gift pairs for my son who's in the TX Hill Country & a granddaughter who's headed to college in VA. The Brits got it right!!

Love these boots! I originally purchased the Hunter original in aubergine, but it was too purple, so I switched to Merlot, which is a beautiful deep red (I called on a Friday to get a switch, and the new boots arrived that Monday. Amazing!) I do not have super-skinny calves, and the boots fit perfectly, even with the fleece socks. The boots were a bit wobbly around the ankle without the fleece inserts, but it's not an impediment, and I love them. They will come in handy with the harsh fall and winter conditions in northern Illinois. Wish I could get a second pair in green!!

Best Wellies ever! Cutest rain boots made, they are very tall on the leg which looks great with skirts. I did order a size down as recommended and they are a perfect fit.

Hunter Original - Like most people, I love these boots. I had been coveting a pair of the aubergine in size 37 for a long time because I had tried one on in the store and that size seemed right. I wear a 6 or 6.5 in sandals and a 7 (or 37) in most shoes; very occasionally a 7.5. I finally got them from Zappos, and even though the foot was okay (although it seemed snugger than I remembered), the calf was too tight if I tried to tuck in pants and just generally a little too close fitting in the calf. My calves are just over 14 inches at the widest point; I guess they're muscular, although I have a pretty small build. I hate shoes on me that look kind of long in the foot, so I tend to buy shoes that are on the fitted end of the spectrum rather than leaving extra room. So, then I got the 38, and it's a touch longer of course, but the calf fits much better. I also switched colors. I thought the aubergine was perfect for a long time, but when I got them, it seemed a little too dark (too close to black), so I got the "Dolphin" (grey) and I like it a lot. I want Hunter to additionally make the following colors: medium blue (neither royal nor navy), kelly green (not hunter or lime), and clear. Just kidding - no clear.

Love them - I highly recommend these boots. They are well worth the money. The rubber is soft allowing you to walk in them all day. I've worn them on long mucky walks, as well as around town with a skirt. They don't have as much arch support as their profile would have you believe, but they are so comfortable, it wasn't an issue for me. These handsome boots will outlive all of the rubber boot trends and remain well loved classics.

Hunter Boots - I'm a big fan of these boots! I've been searching for a while for the "perfect" pair. They are excellent for rainy or even snowy weather. They are very comfortable and I get tons of compliments on them. Just be sure to order a full size smaller than normal. I usually wear a 7 and ordered a 6. Feels great! Only complaint is that the rubber seems to get dirty easily... the color seems to become dull over time. I heard you should clean them with pledge, but haven't tried it yet.

It's a great rain boot! They come in whole sizes only and recommend ordering up a size. I'm a consistent 8.5, so I ordered the 9s, but they were way too big. The 8s are perfect.

Good boot - I love the look of this boot. So fun for spring. The only downside is that the calves are tight for me - I have larger calves. I kept them anyways, but they are a bit tough to slip off. Socks and a strong tug make it easier. I love them though and they are fun & comfy. Also, it is true that they run big, so order the next size down.

Craving Hunter Boots - I love keeping my feet dry and looking interesting at the same time. My (black) Hunter boots look fine under short skirts or over jeans. I can walk through puddles like a kid. These live up to their reputation; waterproof, comfortable and nifty. Follow the recommendations and order the size just below yours (mine 8 1/2 - Hunter boots a great fit in size 8). I'll be wearing these for years.
