Solid pair of rainboots. Like everyone has mentioned, the shaft is narrow and will be better fit for slim calves. For a size 6, I measured the shaft to be 14 inches in diameter. I had no problems tucking in my skinny jeans with my calf at 13.25 inches. The foot is a little roomy, but it's perfect with my thick socks. For a size 6, the shaft is 14.5 inches tall. I'm only 5'3", so the boot comes right below my knees.

Just wanted to write a quick word of advice about the Hunter original: ARMOR-ALL. Takes care of cloudiness, adds some sheen, cleans and protects. I had almost given up on last year's boots, was almost going to buy another pair in the Hi-gloss, then I tried Armor-All and am once again in love! Too bad about the blackberry-picking I did over the summer with them on...the scratches are there to stay, but I care much less about them now that I've discovered my secret weapon.

Great boots! They are really comfortable and look great too. I bought mine on the small size with my toes right to the end and they are kind of stretchy so fit fine.

Absolutely love them, I have them in red & navy, and want more colors! I do recommend purchasing the Hunter Boot Buffer spray, keeps them nice & shiny after cleaning! Make sure to purchase a size down from what you usually are, they fit on the big side. I'm usually an 8 and bought both on 7 and it's a perfect fit.

This is the perfect boot for wet or cold weather. I ordered the Hunter socks for really cold weather, but I will mostly wear them with tights and skirts or jeans. They are quite comfortable. I wear a size 9 and they ran true to size. There is just enough room to tuck jeans in if needed. Goodlooking, great wet weather boot!

I love these boots. Fortunately, I received them as a birthday gift right before superstorm Sandy. No water leakage and very cute. Not very warm so need to get some socks for the winter.

Love them! I usually wear size 9-10 I went with the 9. They fit perfect! Looks great with skinny jeans and leggings. I'm only 5' 5" so it fits just below the knees. Just ordered a pair for my 12 year old; she's 5'4" so I went with a youth 5. She wears 7-8, hoping they fit they haven't arrived yet.

Worth every penny! The only problem I have with these (and I am reaching here) is when I cross my legs the buckle on the side is a little uncomfortable.

I love these boots. Obviously completely waterproof but also surprisingly supportive and comfortable. They also make your legs look slim. Love the classic dark olive color and very autumn and goes with everything.

I usually wear a size 10, but went up to a size 11 so they would be comfy with heavy socks for winter wear. I purchased the purple color - it is very subtle, almost a neutral in color - I love these boots - could not be happier!

These boots were fantastic, if you have larger calves though they might be a little snug. Overall fits true to size, a little cushy and just great comfort.

I have a dog who used to love taking one hour long walks and wore these boots only when the weather was wet. After the first year, I had to replace/reinforce the heel because it wore down. By the second year there were leaks in the boot. By the third year they were useless because there was a huge hole in the sole. If my dog still liked long walks, I'd never buy these boots again. Since he's now old and diabetic, I might give the wedges a shot since the soles look sturdier and better made.

These boots are narrow on the calf so can be tricky to fit for muscular women. I can only wear them with skinny jeans or tights.

I absolutely LOVE these boots! I read previous reviews and they are correct. You should order them smaller than what you wear. I wear a 7.5/8 in women and I ordered these in a 7 and they fit perfect even w/ socks on. As other reviewers have said, I would order a size smaller. Perfect for the rain! I got them in Aubergine aka Purple and they go w/ everything.

The product is great. The Hunter boots run on the larger size so I ordered the smaller size as they do not come in half sizes. Zappos service is fantastic.

Love these boots for Fall. Rain or shine. I plan to get some Hunter liners too, and since they feel just a tiny big, those will make the fit perfect.

received these boots over a year ago and absolutely love them. The only problem was that recently the buckle fell off. I emailed Zappos hoping I could buy a replacement buckle. They quickly responded and already had a replacement pair on the way! I am so impressed with Zappos customer service! They were so helpful and willing to do anything they could. I will definitely continue to order from Zappos!

Love! Ordered these boots a few years ago and they are still in great shape now. I ordered them in white, mainly because at the time we were in the middle of a blizzard and I thought white would be great with the snow. I have since worn them in both the rain and the snow and even though they are white they haven't shown too many stains. Highly recommend in any color!

I was hesitant to buy these boots. I've wanted them for a while but I didn't want them in black because they are so common. I really like the green! The boots still go with everything and I'm happy about my purchase.

I have gotten so many compliments on these boots! They are very comfortable, and you can wear them with or without socks. I was worried about the price, but they are definitely worth it. I highly recommend them.

Last winter I bought a pair of Sorel snow boots, expecting a "harsh" New England winter. It snowed twice, and I never got the chance to wear them. Thanks to the 365 day return policy at Zappos.com, I was able to return them and purchased a pair of Hunter rain boots! These boots are great! They keep my feet dry in the rain, and will keep them warm in the winter! The sole is thick enough, that I'm sure they will do just fine in the snow, even if we have a rough winter.

I got these for my college-aged daughter, and she loves them! She has had other rain boots in the past, but these are the best. I was not sure what size to get, as she is usually a 7.5, but I got the 8 and it is perfect. These are very popular on college campuses!

Love the boots but had to get the larger size! These boots only come in whole sizes...the 8's were too small and the 9's were too big. I ended up purchasing the 9's but have to wear double socks. If they had 8.5, would have been perfect!

Love these boots. I have worn them a couple of times in really heavy rain and it's flawless. They felt big when I tried it on without socks, but with socks on, the size was perfect. I'm a size 8 and I ordered an 8. I wanted some room to wear the boots with thick socks in cold weather and the size 8 was roomy enough.

I needed a work boot to keep my feet dry and comfortable. This boot has worked great, and I love the way it looks. The only recommendation I have is to wear them with tall socks, If you don't you may end up with a few blisters.
