Love these! I had been on the fence about getting Hunter rain boots because of the cost but I took a chance and these are the most comfortable boots. I love the color because they pretty much match everything. Although I have only worn them once the quality seems top notch and I think they will last me several years.Thank you Zappos!

Great, comfortable, wet weather boots. They are a little wide for my small calfs, but would be good for tucking in jeans. They are cute with a skirt too. I am a true 6½, but I bought a size 7 and am really happy with them. There is enough room for thick socks and my wide feet do not feel like they are being squished. There was also enough vertical space inside for me to insert an arch-supporting insole.

I purchased these for my daughter. She is 17 and was going to be spending 12 days in Europe. The tour involved a lot of walking from morning till night. And, since she is limited to one suitcase, we decided on one pair of shoes that would work with everything. These did just that. They kept her feet warm, almost too warm when the liners were added. They kept her feet dry and they looked good too. The group she was with climbed the Dine of Pyla in France and she was the only one that didn't bring sand back in her shoes and could still feel all her toes. She walked in the ocean while wearing them. I believe that there is absolutely no shoe in the world that will feel good after walking 12 - 15 hours for days in a row, these weren't bad she said. Sometimes they felt a little stiff but all in all they were great. Hunter does have a boot that is for travel - it has softer sides that offer more flexibility. All in all, I would highly recommend these boots. Whether it be for home or travel, these boots will prove to be a smart purchase.

I absolutely love my boots! They are cute and comfy. I live in Portland and it's always wet and muddy. I plan on getting more colors and styles.

I love these boots. They are comfortable (I spent several days in a row walking a lot and my feet never hurt), keep your feet warm and dry, are stylish, and just all around wonderful! One of the best purchases I've ever made!

Love these boots. I usually wear a 9 to a 9 1/2 shoe and I got the 10 which is perfect with the wellie socks. The are a little roomy without the sock but there is no way they would be comfortable with the socks if I went down to a 9. They get more use than I could have imagined.

I have no idea why I waited so long to get these!! They are perfect. I love the color (Cafe Latte) and they look and feel very well made and durable. Well worth the price. I typically wear an eight, but I had a feeling these would run big. I went with a size seven and they are a perfect fit. I also wear a seven in Ugg boots if that helps anyone!

I always wear a 9 but the 9 felt big. Ordered an 8 but it was too small. Stuck with the 9 and bought a gel insert and it feels great. Also purchased the boot shine. Have only worn once but am very happy thus far.

These are the 4th pair of Hunter boots in our house. They fit true to size and are extremely comfortable and flattering. The best part about them is that they are easy to wear all day in both style and comfort.

Wellies! I finally got Wellies! Cannot wait to get them muddy, but since I live in Austin TX mainly I will get them dusty.

Fit well, very comfortable and no fear of splashing in puddles with these on.

I bought these in Aubergine last year. They fit very well. I have large, muscular calves and have no problem getting them on with jeans and the fleece sock liner. The only reason I give them a 4 for comfort is that if I am wearing regular knee socks (not the fleece liner), the interior rubs the back of my heel uncomfortably. Overall, love them.

Oh Hunter Originals, how I love thee! Let me list the ways: (1)Durability: I ordered my current pair back in 2009! I live in rainy rainy Portland, OR, and they are just now starting to fade. One of the buckles has come off (currently stuck back on with epoxy but I don't know if it'll stay), and I'm starting to see small cracks where the boot creases along the inside of the ankle when I bend my leg. The heels are finally wearing down as well. But seriously! I've worn them almost every day every fall/winter/spring for four years (only in summer do they get put away), and they have held up amazingly well! (2) Look: To this day, I get compliments on them when I wear them, and mine look like I work in a stable (I do not). I got mine in Merlot, which is currently only available in a High Gloss. I'm hoping they bring back the not-glossy Merlot. (3) Fit/Comfort: I put a pair of insoles in for extra padding, but other than that, they are supremely comfortable. I have worn them for hours, in all manner of terrain, with no problem except maybe a bit of sweatiness (they are rubber boots, after all). No rubbing or chafing, squashing of toes or anything like that. I'm between sizes 7.5~8, and I ordered these in 8. Fits perfectly with a thick-ish pair of socks. I guess it's finally time for another pair... really, they are so worth it! If you've been thinking about getting a pair, especially if you live in a wet region, do it! You won't regret it!

Great boot. I used to wear a rubber boot from Aldo before I got this one, and that boot was tough against the skin and slightly uncomfortable. The Hunter boot, on the other hand, is super comfy and doesn't stress my feet out even after a full day's use. I sometimes forget it's made of rubber. It looks great too and fits perfectly around my ankles and calves. Highly recommend!

Wow, I ordered these yesterday with standard shipping and they arrived today! Thanks, Zappos! I normally wear an 8½/9 and ordered these in a 9 but was worried due to all the other comments that they run large, but the size is perfect with socks (and I cannot imagine that you would want to wear them without socks). They are rain boots so my expectation was that they would be a little roomier in the leg than leather tall boots and they are. I am 5'8" with narrow calfs and there is plenty of room to put jeans inside the boots, even if the jeans are not skinny jeans. They seem very sturdy and durable. I cannot wait to try them out!

I received the Olive green Hunter boots for Christmas. I wear a size 9 in regular shoes. Unlike the other reviews, I had to go up a size in these. This is due to the fitted calf on these boots. Even though the 9 fit, I found that when I went to take them off they had a suction! In reviews the Huntress style is suggested for big calves. However, I wanted a traditional fit. This green is very dark almost black. Zappos has an amazing customer service! Called one day, had the new boots the next day! Hunter boots are well made, high-quality and worth the price. I'm thrilled to have them and plan to have them a very long time.

Excellent rain boots; if matched with appropriate winter socks, they also provide a good comfort in the snow.

Bought these boots as a Xmas gift for my daughter and she has already worn them 7 or 8 times (even when it isn't raining!). She loves the fit and the style, and she's a fashion-conscious college freshman! Definitely recommend

I love my green Hunter boots! So cute, so comfy. Fit is perfect, true to size for me (I'm always a 10). I think they are great in any color. In fact I'd love another pair, but they aren't exactly cheap. For the amount of wear I will get out of them my one pair is good for now. But I do love and recommend these boots!

I ordered these for high school aged daughter. She loves them. I can't imagine they are comfortable, but she swears they are. Fit was right on, color true. They seem to be well made.

I love my hunters. I bought them a size too large so I could use welly socks and use these as winter boots. Perfect for all weather, I always get compliments.
