Love these! I got them in the original green, paid full price for them and then had the price adjusted a few days later when they went on sale (thank goodness for Zappos' great customer service)! I have a wide toe box, so I bought my normal size, and they fit great with a regular sock and will fit even better with a thick sock during the colder months. I can see how one would need to size down if they have a medium-width foot, but if your foot is even a little wide, I would go with your normal size. The only downside is that they are a little difficult to wear while driving, but then again, I have that problem with a lot of boots and not just these. Small price to pay for adorable boots that keep your feet dry!

Sooo cute! I ordered the jade green color in a 7. I'm usually a 7 1/2 and they fit perfect. As far as comfort they seem good but I've only walked a few hours in them not all day. I get TONS of compliments. Definitely go with the jade green!

I love these boots! Very comfortable and stylish, great for the spring in Maine. I would have to agree with other reviews when they have said the boot is somewhat narrow legged. There is not a lit of room to tuck pants in.

These boots are wonderful. The color is exactly as shown at the picture. But I really need to point out that the upper of the boots is hard and not comfortable, but for whole things, it's never mind.

I am in love! This is my first pair of Hunter Boots and I absolutely love them. I ordered a size 8 and glad I did. The size 9 would have been too big. I wore the boots when it was raining and my feet were dry. The boots are comfortable. Yes, I will be ordering another pair. Thanks Zappos for fast delivery!

The Hunters are here! Let it rain! I have had 2 pairs of regular rain boots that cracked, so I was looking for something sturdy. Did a lot of research and went with this in Aubergine. I'll start with the color: extremely dark purple to the point where it looks black in some lights. I love it, and was originally looking for a rain boot in black, so perfect! Size: I ordered an 8. I generally wear 8 or 8.5. And I have some room in them. So they do probably run about a 1/2 size big. These boots are also very tall, and very narrow. I am 5'4", and they come to my knee - any higher and I probably could not wear them. They are narrow - I have skinny legs, and I do not have much wiggle room. I do have enough room to wear them with thick socks, tights, or skinny jeans. One strange thing to add - they arrived coated in a white, powdery substance (that I read about in other reviews) that makes them appear worn and not new. It seems that it can be rubbed off with some effort. I actually like the look and plan to leave it. They are also comfy, compared to the rainboots I had in the past.

Great rain boots! I had to order a size larger for ease of removal. I usually wear a 7 but it's too much of a struggle to pull them off so an 8 is perfect. Excellent service from Zappos as usual. Delivery is always fast.

I absolutely love Hunter boots! I own a ton of different colors, all fantastic. I wear them for work and even with all the wear and tear they last me a long time! They are easy to wash, and super comfortable! I won't own another brand of rubber boots!

I'm a college student in Minnesota so I do a lot of walking around campus. After a winter of ridiculous amounts of snow this spring is going to be a wet one and I wanted a pair of these so bad! Finally I caved and I bought a pair despite the steep price. I wear a size 9 usually but due to reviews saying they run huge I bought a size 8. They fit me nice but I probably won't be able to fit a welly sock in them for next winter. I will have to buy another pair (size 9) for winter if I want to wear them with the welly socks (which you need for cold weather). But other than that I am really pleased with them and will spend a lot of time in them this spring!

I got the navy boots for Christmas and absolutely love them! They are so cute and look good with just about anything. They are definitely worth the money!

These are probably the best rain boots I've ordered aesthetically, I'm short (5'2) but I like my boot shafts high. I'm usually a 5.5 (boots, flats) to 6 (sneakers, sportswear, heels) and took a 5 in these. The calves were perfect, not too roomy but just roomy enough to comfortably fit leggings, skinny jeans etc... I will say something I love is the nylon lining, it's super smooth that the on/off is so effortless, no more awkward struggling, tugging etc... bought in black and have worn them with everything. Worth every penny!

I love these boots. If you have a wide calf, they might not fit. I have 15 inch calves and they are snug but not tight. Great for days when I do not want to wear my leather boot. I bought Navy.

I ordered these in one size smaller as per the previous reviews but I ended up exchanging them for my normal size. The larger size just felt more comfortable and roomy to me. Also the larger size was easier to get on/off by myself. I wear them a lot and have gotten so many compliments on them. They are super cute and look great with everything. They are also functional in that I am out in the rain/mud a lot doing volunteer work and my feet stay dry and protected. Absolutely love my Hunters!

I'm pretty tall, almost 5/8, with long legs. These were just a bit too tall for me. When I crossed my legs the buckle caught on my tights.

I've had the Hunter Original in black for more than 6 years and they are still going strong! I have a long commute into NYC plus a lot of walking on a daily basis and they've held up so well I almost wish they'd wear down enough so I have an excuse to buy another pair in a different color. I actually don't mind the bloom that happens with these in the original, I like that it's a bit rugged. I've used these bad boys to shovel snow, trudge through flood waters after Sandy and run after my 2 little ones over the years. I'm 5' tall, 117 lb, 13.5" calves and usually wear a 6.5 shoe. In Hunters and Converse I size down to a women's 6. They fit comfortably over skinny jeans and I can wear 2 pairs of socks for when it's a bit colder and still have wiggle room in the toe box I've come to wear these in winter because they've got great traction but are lightweight. I can't believe it's taken this long, but I'm finally planning to buy the fleece socks to go with them. I've been hemming and hawing because I don't want them to make the calves too snug, but this winter's been a total beast!

I love my Hunter boots. I wanted to invest in my 5th pair, and was going to make Jade Green the next color to add to my collection, anticipating it would look much like the photographed Tiffany-Blue-ish shade. However, I should have listened to the name, because when they showed up at my door, they, indeed, looked very green. More like a dark olive green, to be honest. I will be exchanging, but only for a different hue. Still love my Hunters.

I love my Hunters! I have them in navy blue, and they go with everything. I wear them all year, even in winter because of the cute and warm liners you can buy. I have had mine for about 2 years and they still are in great condition. Just a few scuffs on the inside side where the boots have brushed each other from walking. I would recommend these to anyone. Even though they are expensive, they are worth it!

Fast shipping & quality was just as expected. Very comfortable & warm especially on these icy days lately! I'm very happy with my purchase but for those 5ft & under this boot may be too tall. I'm 5ft & the cuff hits right at the bend of my knee.

I bought the yellow ones over the summer and I am obsessed with them! They are super comfortable! I wear a 9.5 and got a 9 and still have room to wear the Hunter fleece socks with them.

I absolutely adore these boots! They are super comfortable. The upper calf is a bit tight, but as long as I'm wearing tight jeans/pants/leggings they work just fine. I also find that wearing socks that cover my full calf also help, as it keeps the pants smooth and provides a better fit. I have received more compliments on these boots than any other pair of shoes I own.

Love my Hunters! Great quality boots, would compare them to LL Beans wellies. They keep my legs warm, however, not as much my feet. If you have larger calves, I would suggest going with the Huntress. The regular Hunters don't leave much room.

Definitely more of a green than it shows in the photo, but I think this color goes with everything! Love it.

I have wanted a pair of Hunter original rain boots for so long. I absolutely love these. I am short (5'1") so many reviews said to go with the Huntress, I disagree, I love the originals. They don't pinch at all when I sit down. They are a perfect width in the caves for me, but I can imagine they would be tighter if you have bigger calves. I normally wear a size 5.5, so I went with a 5 and they fit wonderful, even with thick socks. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

These boots were exactly what I was looking for. I got the fleece liners to go with them and they have kept my feet dry and warm in the cold and snowy winters of upstate New York. My best boot purchase yet! I normally wear an 8.5-9 in flats and heels but I got these in an 8 and they're a perfect fit even with the liners.
