THE BEST RAIN BOOTS HANDS DOWN! These boots are great! I love that they fit closer to the leg than most and come up almost to my knee... that little heel is great, too. I went out in a torrential downpour in these and my feet stayed totally warm and dry.

Functional and cute - I bought these for a fishing trip to Alaska because I wanted something that was fashionable and cute. These worked perfect! They kept my feet dry, but were also extremely comfortable. I was a little worried that the rubber sole would make me slip on the boat surface, but they stayed put. I was the talk of the trip with my yellow boots! Now I want to go somewhere rainy so I can wear them again!

Red rubber rain boot rave - I love my Hunter red rubber rain boots! They are a perfect fit, very comfortable, and look great! I love the color, it is definitely red, but not flashy. I was hesitant about paying close to $100 for rubber boots, but they are well worth the money. Five stars all around for Hunter's beautiful red rubber rain boots! I love my red rubber boots!! Great Rain Boots! These boots reach up to the knees. They're great for walking in the rain, and they're super comfy. Most rain boots are stiff, but not these! They also fit true to size.

As much as I love the style of the Hunter Original, I cannot bring myself to buy them again. After about two years, I have a hole in each boot (where the toes bend), and the heels had been worn down to the point that water is also getting in from there too. Also, the material and tall boot shaft do not allow for ventilation, so the Hunters can get uncomfortable to wear over the course of a day. I have decided to look else where after considering the lack of arch support, which causes my feet to eventually cramp up, the price and other factors previously mentioned.

Beautiful boots. These boots are beautiful and seem to be very well-made. I have seen people wearing them for awhile now, and have had my eye on them, but had been reluctant to buy them because of the price. I'm glad I finally got them, because I think they will last a long time. They offer lots of cushioning and support and are generally very comfortable. I live in NYC and do a lot of walking, so comfort is key for the shoes that I buy. One thing about these is that the sizing is a little weird. I had read the reviews saying to buy a size down, so I ordered a size 6 instead of my usual 7. These almost fit, and were great width-wise, but were just a bit too short as my toes just barely touched the front of the boot. I returned those for a size 7 but they were just a bit too large. I was able to add a gel insole, which takes up some of the room in the shoe, and now they are comfortable. I am also glad that there is now some room for those lovely Hunter welly socks during the colder months. I do wish they made half-sizes, but I was able to make my "normal" size work, with a few tweaks. Overall, I'm very happy I purchased my Hunters.

My fiance bought these rain boots for me as a Mother's Day present. Originally he got a size 7 (I'm a size 8) because he assumed all rain boots run a bit larger. That did not work in my case, however! My feet fit in perfectly, but my calves wouldn't fit into the "shaft" of the boots. We ended up exchanging them for a size 8 which are all around bigger but fit over my calves with no problem. I absolutely adore these rain boots! It sounds silly, but I love finding deep puddles and just walking right on through; my feet always stay completely dry and protected. Personally, the boots can get a bit hot and "steamy" on the inside, but I can definitely deal with that. I've gotten tons of compliments, and I plan on buying a pair of Hunter boots for each of my 3 young sons.

I wear a 7.5 and originally ordered an 8 and had to return it for a 7. Of course, Zappos customer service was great and I got the new boots in no time. Then there was a severe lack of spring rain on the east coast and didn't get to try these boots out for quite a while. Alas, the summer thunderstorms have begun and I've found that the Hunter rain boot is indeed comfortable. I plan to wear these for a life time (only reservation is that I have skinny legs so they might be slightly wide in the calves, but not more so than any other boots). They definitely serve the purpose of keeping feet (and up) dry!

Great color (cafe latte) - goes with everything. I am a 7 1/2 with a wide foot and a high arch, so bought a size 8 so that I could get it on and off. It is a little too long, but with a shearling insert long enough to go up the back of the heel a little, they fit just fine and have more cushion in the foot. I do wear thin socks, also, to facilitate on and off. They are very well made with quality materials and I love the style. Wish the shaft was wider so I could tuck my pants in and that the toe box was less tapered.

Love the boots and the color, but remember to get a size smaller. Also, these are kind of tall for my short legs, so keep that in mind.

These boots are great. They keep your feet dry and are comfortable. I ordered a half size smaller than normal based off of other reviews and they are perfect. They aren't the warmest boots but work well with liners!

Love my Hunter rain boots! I recommend the inserts for cold weather. Very comfy. At first it was tough to get foot in easily but they broke in.

I love this boot! Unfortunately, they are not made for women with large/muscular calves. I'm 5'3 and they fit great, if I only plan on wearing them with tights. My roommate who's a petite build with large calves as well could not wear these comfortably. Alas, I have to return them. I would get the Huntress, but they are 2" shorter and do not look as nice and feminine as the Original.

As others have said, classic boot, perfect for all kinds of nasty weather. I have a narrow calf so they are kind of roomy around top of calf which I'm not crazy about - great with pants. Of course - they came super fast - thanks Zappos.

Love these boots, but the shaft runs very narrow. I may have to send them back and try the Hunter "Huntress" which runs larger in the shaft.

I read a lot of reviews before buying these. I am usually a 7.5 size but got an 8. I plan to wear the fleece lining with them and need the 8. If you don't want to wear really really thick socks than I would have gotten a 7.5. If you want to wear jeans inside of the boot they better be skinny ones. They comfortable and come up pretty high, just below the knee and I'm 5'8"! Only gave them 4 stars cause I wish the opening was a little bigger, but it does help them stay on better. No slipping when walking.

Like the product - but seems tight in upper calf, especially with the insert. Am tall - 5'10" - not sure if that has anything to do with this.

I Wear size 7.5 and I bought a 7 after reading the reviews, but I realize I need a 8 after I received the 7. I dropped it off at the post office and I receive the new shipment the next day. I love this rain boots! The only fault I find, is that they are hard to take off your feet.

The boots are just great. The only thing is I am not really getting used to walk in these. I wear running shoes and flats too much. But I think it'll get better when I wear them more.

This is a fantastic Wellie. The only problem that I have is with the height of the shaft. I am 5 foot 2 and the top of the shaft covers the bend of my knee. I still wear these all the time, rain or shine!

Quite roomy, maybe a bit too big for a size 7. I am a 7-7.5, and this seemed more like a size 8. Will be good with thick socks though. Seems a bit slippery, so not a good choice if you want to use it in the snow too. Zappos is pretty quick with shipping though a definite plus!

I bought these in green and they look beautiful but I had to return them because they did not fit. I am an 8/8.5 and based on the reviews saying they run big I ordered a 7. They were too small, but just barely. I think a full size bigger would be way too big and I don't want to run the risk of these boots looking clunky. I think if you are a 7.5/8, then a 7 would work for you.

I have wanted these boots for a few years and I finally just broke down and bought them. They are perfect for the cold, rainy, snowy, slushy, gross winters in Chicago. That said, these are rubber wellys--there just isn't anything glamorous or cute about a rubber boot. I wish Hunter did half sizes. I'm a perfect 9 in all other shoes and I could use thawed in an 8.5. I'm happy with these though and I love the aubergine color.

I usually wear a size 6 and 1/2, however knowing that Hunter's do not carry half sizes I opted for a 7 (and the reason I gave only 4 stars overall). They feel a little tight around the top because of my high arch, for this reason I am happy I didn't choose a 6. Although I have a lot of extra space, I just wear thicker socks and/or a boot sleeve. They are extremely comfortable and very hardy, especially in for wet/snow weather.

I love mine. I'm usually a 6.5 and they don't come in half sizes so I ordered a 7 and they were too big. A 6 is perfect. They not that easy to walk in and take some getting used to but they're great.
