I love this rain boots! I just got these wellies in the mail and am thrilled with the quality. I also purchased the fleece socks by Hunter for cold days when I can wear them in the snow. I am a student and walk to the campus five days a week so these are a life saver in bad weather. They also look great. I highly recommend Hunter if you need to keep your feet dry.

Great Classic - Adorable in pumpkin. I ordered a size down due to other reviews, but the 7 was right at my toe. I am a true 8, and ended up ordering the 8 which fit better, although a little loose in the ankle.

Love Love Love my rain boots - I bought this pair in red and I love them! I got them a whole size smaller than I normally wear based on prior reviews and the fit is great. Of course once I received the boots it didn't rain in NYC for 16 days!

The best rain boot on the market...for a reason! Like many have said, this boot is expensive but worth the money. Hunter boots are handmade and comfortable as well as long lasting and easy to take care of. I bought the aubergine color which looked very similar to what was pictured on this website. Also like many have said, the boots are sized unisex so women need to order a full size down. I am normally a woman's 11 and ordered a 10 which will be perfect with thick socks. I'm 5'11" and these boots fit me about 3 inches over the knee but I'm sure that the average woman will find them to be at least knee length. Care for these shoes is very simple, just wipe with a damp slightly soapy cloth inside and out and let air dry. More detailed instructions are included with the shoe. Overall I would recommend this shoe as a sturdy rain boot that is cute but classier than most decorated boots. Plus, as always, Zappos delivered these next day for free. I'm very satisfied =)

Classic! These are by far the most comfortable rain boots I own. No blisters and the calves are just narrow enough that they do not flap about when you walk, but not so narrow you couldn't stuff jeans in. I get so many compliments on these and everyone wants to know where I got them because they are just the ultimate, classic black rain boot! Order 1/2 to one size up, though as they run a little big- I'm usually a 6 (US) and the 5 (US) fits me perfectly with medium-thin socks (no thick winter socks here, so you might want to take that into consideration).

Hunters ROCK!!! I love these boots - great quality, I like that the shaft is longer than most rain boots, and I like that the strap on the side is actually adjustable, not just decoration - they were a little pricey, but totally worth it - I'm going to be rocking them for years!

Great boot! Very cute and I love them in the chocolate brown. (The black would have looked to "storm-trooper-ish). They only come in whole sizes, so definitely buy a 1/2 size down. I'm an 8 1/2 and bought the 8, which fit perfectly.

Puddle this... Scary NYC puddles have nothing on these boots. Comfortable, good lookin' and utilitarian too? Damn! They do run large (about a full size), but with the sock liners they're almost a perfect fit.

Perfect except . . . These boots are so great - everyone wants them! The only problem is the super skinny shaft - even my daughter found them to be skin tight! Wish they'd ease them through the calves!

Great buy! I got these in bright yellow and I love them! I did have to size down. I wear a 5 1/2-6 and the 5 was the best fit. My foot is close to the top, but it's not a problem since the boots are roomy, although they may be too snug with the fleece warmers that Hunter makes. They are a little too tall for me (I'm 5'1)--they end just at the knee instead of just below--but they still look good. They are wide enough to wear over jeans if your calves are average width. Very sturdy and thick. I recommend buying a bright color--you'll get lots of comments and everyone will feel better about the rain!

Comfy and very effective for rain boots - Have only worn once thus far, but the size is good (even for my fat calves it fits fine -- not sure I can stuff a pant leg in there or not, but we shall see) -- but oh so effective and very comfortable when running through NYC puddles. Very sturdy, well made shoe. I bought these at the same time as I bought the classic tall Uggs (preparing for bad weather, I guess) and got both in a size 6, even though I normally wear a 7.5 or 8. For the Hunters, I kept the 6. But I returned the Uggs and got a size 7. So... just to give you some comparison...

Top Boots! These are the best rubber boots available. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. These guys have been making rubber footwear for 150 years and it shows. They fit better, last longer and look incredible with skinny jeans or a skirt. And they do about 10 different colours too. None of this patterned plastic rubbish for me from now on!

New York weather - I purchased these Hunter boots because I was tired of going to work with soaked, soggy feet...This was probably the best investment I could have made...Not only will they keep my feet dry in the rain, but with winter coming, and NY snowfall, I am ready...

World's Best Wellies! After owning many different pairs of rubber boots, I can honestly say Hunter Wellies (and the Lacrosse Grange),are the best pair of boots you can buy. Are they expensive? Yes, but worth every penny.

Fabulous hunter boots - I have had several pairs of these boots and they are the most comfortable ones around!! They also come in so many new, cool colors and styles that you almost wish for a rainy day!!!

Swamp boots - I bought these to walk around ponds/marshes/swamps for field work and they've been working out really well. No blisters and I haven't experienced any really uncomfortable rubbing that you normally get with regular Wellies.

Fantastic - They are just what I wanted! Jeans fit nicely tucked in or they look super cute with leggings too! They're my official barn boots. My jeans stay clean and dry and I'm completely comfortable! I can wash my horse or trudge through an irrigated field and I stay happy and dry!

Cute willies - This is a very cute willie, very good quality. The soles are a bit heavy. I find it very hard to run with these (if I’m late for the subway, forget!). After reading all of the reviews, some say is true to the size, some say half size larger or full size larger; believe me buy one size smaller than you usually buy. I am a size 8, purchase a size 8, and should have bought a 7. I'll have to stack up to some socks now.

You get what you pay for, these are worth the money spent! These boots are great! While they are more expensive than other wellies or rubber rain boots, they are high quality and seem to be designed well. I have purchased cheaper rubber rain boots that either had a terrible rubber smell that never went away or they were cheaply made. You get what you pay for and these boots show that. Like others have said in their reviews, these boots run big. I would order at least 1/2 a size down, if not a full size. I went down a full size (I wear a Women’s' 9 and bought the equivalent of a Women's 8) and they fit perfectly with room to spare for warm socks. I am thrilled with my purchase. I even got them one day after I ordered them!

These boots cost more than the molded plastic boots sold everywhere, but the quality is definitely there. The real rubber feels sensual on my legs and the comfortable support in the foot is miles ahead. I like wearing mine with medium weight wool socks and can walk in them all day. Of course they are great for rainy days or wading through ponds and streams. I've occasionally gone in a bit too deep, but that feels kinda sexy too, and they dry out quickly. Worth the extra money for classic looks and quality!

Great rain boots - I have been looking for cool rain boots for over a year, and was thrilled to finally find these Hunters. They look great in person, and, unlike most wellies that I've seen, they come up all the way to the knee. They do run very big...I am usually an 8-1/2, so I ordered an 8. I kept that size, since they are okay with a thick sock, but if I were doing it again, I would definitely go for the 7. They kept my feet totally dry in a deluge the other day, and the grip on the bottoms is great for slippery NYC streets. Love them.

Makes you wish it would rain every day... I am so excited to finally have a pair of Hunter's. I only wish I were a true 9.5. These definitely run a half size large! I prefer to wear them barefoot, but socks do help. A full size down would have been too snug in the toes and I don’t think that is a good thing. These are so well made, the lining is very soft and the insole is not removable! I had a pair of cheaper boots and the insole came out all the time. I only wish I could afford to buy a pair in every color!

Great pair of Wellies! Great pair of wellies that have definitely made this exceptionally rainy summer much better! They run a little big, but nothing a pair of thick socks won't fix.

Great Shoes Very Comfy - I would recommend these to any one who lives in the northeast and has to deal with the rain and snow. Very comfy and great looking for rain boots. I warn all that upon ordering they run about 2 sizes to big. Above all their customer service is just amazing and very helpful down to a hand written thank you note!
