Stinking Cute Shoes!!! The ultimate compliment in my family of shoppers. I actually wear these with dresses (due to our recent flooding!), and have these in red. The color is bright, they're comfortable, durable, and really get the job done. Cute, cute, cute.

Awesome - Although I have lived in Southeast Alaska for eight years (we get 13+ FEET of rain per year), this was my first pair of tall rain boots. I need something to splash in deep puddles with my nearly 3-year-old, and to take on our beach combing excursions! Most everyone I know has a pair of Xtra Tuffs, and I think they're just plain ugly ... so I settled on this much-recommended alternative. They are very comfortable, I love the color choices (I got red, and it is quite subdued -- the picture made it seem like a WHAM color, but it's really not). I found that these boots, at least for me, are true to size.

Wear your rubbers when it's raining... These boots are wonderful and a very fashionable item. At 6'4", I definitely turn heads when people see me wearing these to-the-calf boots. They are very functional and very comfortable, too. I would recommend to anyone looking for a spring rain boot.

Can't Beat The Comfort of Hunters! While I had a problem with the first order for the Hunters, Zappos did an awesome job of rectifying it. These are terrific boots. I, being from Scotland where they originate, have worn them for years, and I was delighted that Zappos have them. I have Hunters in pink and floral and then the hard core work boots. All are incredibly comfortable and endlessly hard wearing. They don’t come any better than this brand!

I love my boots! Be sure to order a size smaller because they do run large. I ordered them with visions of traipsing through muddy fields, but have found they performed very well throughout the winter on snowy, salty city sidewalks, too. My feet were moderately warm and impervious to snow and moisture. And they are indeed great in mud. Caveat - a friend tried wearing my boots, but discovered the boot shafts were too tight for her normal size calves. My cricket calves are fine in them.

Hunter Green Wellington Boots - Long Term, Good Investment - I finally had to replace a pair of Hunter green Wellington boots after more than 20 years of reliable service (one of the soles cracked). It's great to have dry feet again and hope these boots are just as durable. Also, kudos to the Zappos service department. They were extremely helpful over the phone in determining the right size (U.S. conversion from British sizes) and accommodating with the shipping terms in case the fit was off.

Hunter hunter original boots - Boots are perfect; they are nice and comfortable right out of the box. Wished Zappos sold the socks that go with them...I use these boots at a horse barn so they are perfect for mucking around in the mud.

These boots are high quality but they run a little narrow. My feet are a little wide and if I walk on hard surfaces for any length of time my feet get sore from the boot being narrow. However, the durability, function and look of the boots are fantastic. The rubber on mine has taken quite a beating over the past 3 years and they look almost like new. The tread is starting to wear but I expect that I have many more years before it wears down to no tread. I find that many reviewers on this site have very little concept of what actual support is in a shoe. These have very little. They sole is very floppy and the boot provides no arch support. This is easily fixed with a pair of super feet. I have a size 11 and usually wear a 10.5 in most shoes (11 in running shoes). If you have wide feet, you might want to find another boot; otherwise these are a great investment.

Boot is very comfortable and I love the look. However, the flap on the side is a little flimsy (since it's made of rubber), and a part of it came off after a few times of wearing it.

I thought I was buying a British product so was a little disappointed to see that the boots were made in China. This is my first pair so I don't know how they would compare to the British Hunters.

Overall, these boots are good. Perfect for wet weather. They are a little big in the foot, but I wear heavy socks with them. They are not warm, so if it's under 35 degrees, you will need extra socks anyway. For me, they are a little tight in the calf. The wellie socks didn't work for me, but might for someone with smaller calves.

These boots are great, although I expected the boot would conform to my foot more tightly.

Love the boots. They were a real hit at Sundance. Unfortunately, a couple of tight squeezes into upholstered banquettes at oh so chic restaurants in NYC and both buckle clasps ripped off. The plastic attaching them was no match for the seating. $45 later and sensible leather buckles have been attached.

Very nice boots. Big enough for your real size. Always wear with comfortable socks. Never use to walk long distances, it could be exhausting for your feet. Nice style and good looking.

Rubber boots, what more can you say? I made the mistake of wearing them all day, I came home with cold feet even with the socks. They will keep your feet dry.

I always wanted these boots (not the price). My wife had a pair for years and wears them all year round. NY has a lot of snow this winter, and I think there are more wintry weather coming. I finally order them from Zappos, and surprisingly they sent these boots to me 2 days air. I got them and wore them right away. My wife loves them, my friends love them, my coworker loves them, even people we just met in a business trade show asked me where to get them, and most importantly, I love them! The price is a little high, but I understand it. It sounds a little crazy, but I am looking for other colors already.

Regarding color, I initially ordered the merlot color, but found it less a crimson color and more purple than I thought. Being a man (as if that means anything), I switched to the navy and love it. On fit, I have large, athletic calf muscles, and I haven't had any of the problems described by others, even with jeans and socks.

Great boots. More than excellent service. Only complaint is that they feel a little tight at the calf. In any case I highly recommend these boots and Zappos (best service I received from an on line seller so far).

I ordered two pairs of Hunter boots for my daughters for Christmas. They really like them. One daughter is in college and has to do a lot of walking. The boots keep her warm and dry. The same for my other daughter who is a teacher and has to take the kids out to recess. The one negative about the boots is that they are a bit narrow in the calf for the girls. They were disappointed that they could not use the fleece liners inside. SO if you have a wide calf the boots may not fit.

After reading the reviews, I went to a store to try on a smaller size than I usually wear, but found that I needed my regular size after all (especially with thicker socks and the boot liner). I purchased the merlot, which is a beautiful, deep, pinky-red color, almost neutral but not as boring as black or brown. I have skinny calves compared to my large feet and usually have an abundance of room in tall boots, not the case here. I had just enough room for the boot liner and my tucked in jeans with just a little breathing room. These were comfortable the whole first day I wore them, not a full-on rainy day, so I can't vouch for that yet. My one complaint is the waxy residue that builds up continuously the more these boots come in contact with anything. While these really are utilitarian boots, this may bother people who are as anal about being neat and clean as I am. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and look forward to using these to take the dog out of our new apartment in the rain and snow.

Wellies are Wonderful! I got these 17" diameter Wellies since my calves are super big and normal boots never fit me. While I can't fit my boot cut jeans inside, my work pants and skinny jeans fit inside. And they were warm enough during the recent crazy New York snow. Plus I love how high up they go so nothing splashes on my pants. Definitely worth the investment!

For women too - Great, classic boots. Couldn't find my size in the women's version so went for these, and love them. Super comfortable, just the right height (I'm 5'11" and "knee high" boots almost never are...), awfully cute. I erred on the small side and they are still big (and quite wide) but I'm keeping them to accommodate heavy socks.

Great all around boots. I bought these boots for my husband as a gift and he loves them. I'm considering buying the fuzzy "sock" inserts so they are warmer in the winter.

I actually wear these boots not for fashion but on my horse farm for working. My first pair lasted 10 years. I bought a new pair - now made in China and after 6 months they developed stress cracks on both feet where they bend. The buckles broke off shortly after. I kept wearing them though because they weren't leaking unless I stepped in really deep water. So now they are taking on water like the Titanic from the sole somewhere...I guess I got about a year and a half out of these. Pretty sad that the quality has changed so much. But I am trying one more time and buying another pair...and if this pair is as bad as my current pair, I will look for something else. I am somewhat giving them the benefit of the doubt because I wore them out in single digit temps and I wondered if that accelerated the stress cracks.
