I love these boots! I do a lot of walking and find them comfortable and with the inserts keep my feet warmer than expected. Well made.

These boots are a lot so they should last a good 5 years with light wear. I bought these boots two years ago and wore them on average 2 times a month, only when there was rain in the forecast. There is now a crack in the toe area of the right boot that lets massive amounts of water into the boot and soaks my foot. Of course I can't do anything about it so I basically wasted money for boots that are very poor quality. Never again will I buy anything from Hunter.

Much darker than picture. Look almost black. Calf area is very narrow. Quality overall not what you would expect for the price. Returning for multiple reasons.

I bought these boots 5 years ago. No joke. 5 years. I live on a small farm and I wear them constantly for chores. They're very comfortable and have never cracked or leaked. These are fantastic boots if you're looking for something long term and are tired of replacing cheap boots every year.

I bought these for slogging through the muck at the bottom of my pond. They were perfect.

I normally wear a women's 12, but needed the wider calf so I got the men's boot instead. It felt a half-size larger than marked, but once I put some big, cozy socks on the boot felt great! I am a Hunter convert now. :)

I purchased a pair of hunter boots because I thought they were a good quality product that would last. I have worn my Hunters a couple dozen times and they now have a crack in the top of one of the boots. Customer service was of no help as they said that if you have them for more than a year that the crack is normal wear and tear. Pretty expensive for them to only be expected to last less than a year. I would not recommend this product as the quality is very poor for the price.

Love these - and I'm on a weight reduction plan to reduce my calves in time for our wet spring. Otherwise, I'll have to take these to the cobbler and have them stretched at the top. Listen and believe. These are narrow boots. My calves are 15 inches and too fat for these boots. I'm not giving up - - but if I had it to do again, I wouldn't have purchased them.

These really are a great pair of boots. Living in the northeast, I have been using them quite a bit this winter as pseudo-snow boots. Note: they do not keep your feet warm...but with a nice thick pair of socks (which fit comfortably inside the boot) they are very effective at keeping your feet dry. The traction on the bottom also keeps you upright in icy conditions. My pair was true to size. I ordered what I always wear shoe size and they fit fine. The shaft width runs small. I do not have stick thin calves nor do I have very thick ones either (I would say average, athletic calves) and I can slide just a finger between the shaft and my calf. So I'd be wary if you're thicker in the calf. The quality is there and they are super cute with a pair of leggings. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a fashion splurge.

I bought these boots for my brother for his birthday. They came fast and he loves them! I was so impressed and I put a huge smile on his face!

While I do love these boots, out of nowhere the back rubber part that holds the buckle to the boot broke, meaning that the back strap is left dangling. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem like an easy or inexpensive fix. I do find this very disappointing given the high price of these boots.

The boots are everything I heard/hoped they would be. This is my first pair of Hunter's and they are worth the money. Much more supportive and comfy than other rubber rain boots. I am usually a 7.5, and ordered a size 7. They fit perfectly, even with the Hunter liners and a pair of thin Smartwool socks. These boots are surprisingly warm with the liners. Perfect for cold/wet Missouri winters! I am 5'2 and ordered the original...they do come up quite high, but they aren't uncomfortable. Love Zappos customer service! Thank you!

I have wanted Hunter boots for a while now and finally got them this Christmas. They are exactly what I had imagined. I could not be happier. To me they seem to run a bit small, so I would order the next size up for ease of getting them on and off.

I bought Hunters last year, I live in NYC, I see these boots everywhere and ignorantly thought well they must be a great product if people are willing to pay this much for rubber boots. I received my boots in January, by August one of them had a hole in the bottom and squeaked...which is obviously super annoying. I put it off and wrote Hunter customer service in October, no reply. I again wrote them in December, no reply. My last attempt I just flat out told them how livid I was spending that amount of money on a product they couldn't even be bothered to respond to my multiple emails about. If you like to throw away money on a name, by all means go for it, but I personally will be buying my rain boots from that reputable, reasonably priced brand (from Maine) that I know for a fact has great customer service.

Ordered these, a week later they still had not arrived. When I called to inquire about the order I was told it was a problem with UPS. No discount, or remedy or further explanation was offered. Just that hopefully they would arrive soon and that there was nothing else they would do. Horrible customer service. I still do not have my boots.

Oly had these a couple of years and they started to leak through the seams. Believe it or not, they say rain boots and the like would have only a 6 month expectancy. I have been a long time shopper of Zappos, and sister site 6pm.com, but there was no help in customer service for returning these defective boots. No more Hunter boots for me! Shame.

I love these boots, I wear them all the time, even when it isn't raining. They're so easy to slip on, comfortable, and get lots of compliments. My last pair lasted me over 5 years, so it's a great investment if you live somewhere rainy. They also have great support and grip - it's hard to TRY to slip in these. I definitely recommend.

I ordered the wrong size for my son's girlfriend. Zappos exchanged and delivered the correct size within 24 hrs! great attitude with their customer service associates! I'll definitely use them again and have already told several friends.

I bought these boots in February and they have had a ton of use. They're incredibly comfortable and have a good amount of style. I wear them when walking from my parking garage to my car because Detroit is rather unpredictable when it comes to shoveling their sidewalks and plowing their roads. They keep my feed warm and dry and my pants clean and dry. I walk about 2 miles a day and these have held up very well, better than any pair of shoes I've ever owned. If you wear these in colder climates I would get a pair of welly socks, they keep your feet much warmer than the standard lining in the boots.

Not the same ones I remember wearing on my Horse farm. These are terrible. Wish I could compare these side by side to my last pair about eight years ago. I know that I beat my old ones up and they never leaked. They are not built the same, they don't seem to fit the same and they leak water. The bottom line is I wore these boots today (first time) my grass was wet from the morning dew and I felt cold water on my toes. Basically got a cold sensation. Later on in the day when I came inside I took them off and my socks were a little wet. I reached inside the boots and I could feel the water inside. That was my right boot, then I did the same with the left boot and it was wet too. The water came in from the toe of both boots. I called customer service and they fixed the problem (return label for UPS) no charge and then applied the credit towards a pair of Le Chameau boots. I recommend not to buy these boots. They are not the same quality that they are known for. These felt larger from my last pair and I don't remember them being large in the Calf area. These are very large and difficult to put my jeans over them.

Great boot for rainy weather, fits nicely and is comfortable! It rains a lot in this area of Europe so these boots are essential.

Leaky Rainboots!!! I too thought I would invest in a good pair of rain boots and be done with it. These are expensive! But after two seasons of moderate rain, one boot started to leak. Then the other did too. I was so disappointed. I wrote to Hunter, and they responded that I was past the one year warranty, and that I should take them to a cobbler and see if they could help. "Sometimes it works," she said. I was not going to throw good money after bad. If you spend this much on rain boots, you need them to last more than a year, no? Thanks for the tip on LL Bean! I forgot about their warranty. I will definitey go there!

Absolutely love these boots with my pants inside or out. No, they are not winter boots, they are rain and mud boots, and they are great for both. And they are attractive, even for a guy.

I bought the tall, black original hunter boots. I read many of the reviews which were mixed in terms to sizing. Many read order a size up, order a size down. I decided to order a size up because I planned to wear thick socks with them. They are big because, unfortunately, they do not run half size but if you plan on wearing heavy, thick socks with them, which I strongly suggest, then I'd order a size up. They don't feel as warm, but again that's why I wear heavy socks with them. They're great in the rain and snow. I love them and highly recommend them.

Fine looking tall boot but it's a little tight around the calf...would recommend the adjustable model because it's a real chore to get off!
