This is one of the best I have had for a dress shoe! I am an assistant principal and I am on my feet from 6:00am until 6:00pm most days. These shoes were great from day one and I am saving up to get them in another color.

So comfortable - These shoes are incredibly comfortable, more so than any pumps I've ever worn. I think you'll have no trouble wearing these all day, even navigating miles of New York sidewalk and subway stairs. I would advise people to ignore Naot's advice though, on sizing down. I'm usually a 37, bought the 36 as they advised, and have worn them so can't return them. They're OK on size, but a little tight in the toes. I bought the Naot Allure boots, same foot bed, and went for size 37, and they're perfect (admittedly with very thin socks). Because of Naot's advice to size down, I'm going to say they're a half size smaller than marked, but really I suspect they'd be best if you get them in your regular size. I wish my wardrobe would accommodate all the colors, because this is a shoe I'd love to own multiples of.

Arty and comfortable - I love these shoes. Received them yesterday, wore all day shopping today and felt completely comfortable. I am not used to wearing such a stylish, almost arty-looking shoe, without feeling uncomfortable after several hours. I wear a 7.5-8 and the 39 fit perfectly. The Velcro strap is a nice touch and makes taking on and off very easy. The leaves on the strap definitely make a stylized statement.

Wonderful Shoe - Finally a higher heeled shoe that I can wear to work as well as move around in it all day. I am a teacher and on my feet all day. These are very comfortable and look great. I ordered one size smaller than I usually wear.

Pleasure footwear - I find these shoes very comfortable for a dress shoe. It if weren't for my bunions, these shoes would be perfect... But in spite of my bunions these shoes are wonderful. The height does not hurt my arch and they actually feel good on.

Pleasure To Wear - I love my new Naots! I needed a dressy, but comfy shoe to accommodate bursitis in both feet and these fit the bill. Comfortable foot bed, adjustable velcro strap, and a stable heel. I did buy a smaller size per other recommendations, but found I needed my true size. They do run narrow, however, and with time I hope will stretch.

Love this shoe! Extremely, extremely comfortable. Very attractive, too. I've gotten many compliments already on this shoe. I highly recommend it and I would definitely purchase this brand again. They recommend getting a size smaller than normal. I normally wear a 5 ½, but got the 4 1/2 and it's perfect.

Feels Great! This shoe felt great right from the start. It is cute and comfy without looking dorky. Highly recommended for the comfort and quality.

Stylish Naots - A step above the usual styling for dress and work. Comfy and supportive as Naots always are.

Love Naots - Great shoe. Most comfortable dress shoe I have found. I have knee problems and need good arch support and this shoe works well. I tried on many dress shoes before finding this one. It does run narrower, but I found I needed a size bigger than usual wearing thin wool blend dress socks. Also Naots arch inserts keep your feet from slipping around and are removable.

Shoe hog - WOW. I just received these shoes and am very pleased with the fit and look. No matter what shoes I purchase, they hurt my feet because I have flat feet and normally I have to put inserts in all my footwear. These shoes feel great on my sole and toe and heel. I keep thinking that they will bother me later-so far my feet are feeling very comfortable. I have a medium width foot and found that the advice to purchase 1/2 size smaller was appropriate, therefore I marked off true to size. For balance-I wish the heel was slightly wider. I love the velcro for adjusting the strap.

Love These Shoes!! Put these on as soon as I received delivery and have not taken off all evening. They feel terrific and look stylish. Will reorder in black - best dress type shoe I have found!! As always, Zappos variety of product and customer service is excellent!

Finally a shoe narrow enough! Wearing a size 8.5 or 9 2AA or 3AAA (particularly in the heel area), shoe-shopping has always been more challenging--not to mention more disappointing--for me than shopping for jeans or bathing suits! I recently ordered 11 pairs of dress shoes, all narrow except for these NAOTs, and, oddly, these are the ONLY ones that worked! The fit like a dream, with no heel pads, toe pads, or any of the other "necessities" I am accustomed to needing. I also like that the interior is suede, and not smooth leather, as that also seems to help keep my narrow heel in place. I bought the black and am placing my order for brown right now. Thank you, NAOT!

Naot Pleasure - A really comfortable shoe... They do run narrow, and I have a narrow foot, so I am going to be patient hoping they will stretch a tiny bit and then be perfect. The padding and arch support are amazing. I do wish they were a darker brown, as one other person had mentioned. But, I'm very happy with purchase, might even buy it in black. Love you Zappos, thanks again!

Comfortable stable heels - Good work shoe, especially for those who are on their feet all day. I like the retro style of the shoe, too! Definitely buy a 1/2 size smaller because it is sized larger than typical.

Great shoe! This shoe is very comfortable. It was a perfect fit right out of the box with very little, if any, "break in" period needed. I usually wear an 8-8.5 and I ordered size 38. My feet run a little on the wide side, but I didn't find the shoe to be too narrow like the other reviewers. I love the "retro" look. This is my first pair of Naots - they look well made and should last.

A gorgeous but comfortable shoe! It is difficult to find office-appropriate shoes when you have plantar fasciitis & a narrow foot. I tried this Naot since it was dressier than the typical comfort shoe. The narrow sizing is a bonus since I wear a 9.5 AA. In Euro sizing, I am a true 40.5; since this shoe runs long, I ordered a 40 and the fit was PERFECT. While my husband joked "Greta, show me your ankles" when I showed him my new black shoes, they do work very well with pants, suits, dresses and skirts. I am planning to order another pair in the brown color; even though these shoes are expensive (they are worth every penny, however!). My podiatrist highly recommends this brand to her patients & I am very pleased that Zappos sells such a great selection in this hard-to-find brand.

Very comfortable shoe! This is my second pair of Naot's. They are soo comfortable. Feel like I could walk for miles. They also look different and are really cute. Love my Naot’s.

Hurrah! They are narrow enough for my 2AA feet. I have a pair of Naot Karenna sandals and I had to tighten the straps so they hung over very far. Then someone told me to take out the insole and put another thin insole underneath and they would not seem so wide. That helped. I hope Naot makes more shoes in this narrower last. I ordered a size smaller as was recommended by Naot and they fit perfectly. Could use a little more padding in the ball and I may take the bow off.

I wanted to wear the shoes for a few days prior to writing a review. Firstly, I must say that my feet are messed up from having had to wear close-toe shoes and heels for a job that also requires a lot of walking. Having said that, I must say the shoes are comfortable. They aren’t too narrow or tight; there is plenty of space on the toe box and the platform and heel are a plus. As for sizing, though I am typically a size 7 in close-toe shoes/pumps (occasionally 6.5 in sandals) the European size 37 were way too small. I ended up keeping the size 38, though if they had a size 37.5, they would probably be the perfect fit. In the looks department the shoes are just ok, but are far better than a pair of orthopedic clogs. I do not care for the bows on the side and will probably end up removing them, but the strap is definitely a plus. Overall and despite the price which I find somewhat excessive, I am pleased with my purchase.

An adorable replacement for a pair gray mary janes I can no longer wear. I love these and cannot wait to wear them out!

These are some of the cutest mary janes I own. They are a tiny bit narrow when going down a size, but nothing a good shoe tree shouldn't fix!

I really wanted to love this shoe. It's so cute with the bowtie and more formal without the bowtie. Looks great with skirt, and dress pants. It is comfortable aside from one factor. My side ankle bone pushes right against the shoe and it is extremely painful. I think because most of my pressure is in the back of my foot, this makes it even more unbearable when the ankle bone hits it. I wish the back was designed a little shorter so it doesn't hit right at my bone. Unfortunately it has to go back.

These are beautiful, very well made shoes. They are, however, on the narrow side, and unfortunately, I will have to return them. They pinched the sides of my feet. I wish Naot would make these shoes in a true medium width.

Runs true to size… I just had to return the ones I bought a half size smaller - too small. I think that my usual size will fit, though still waiting for re-ship. Looks beautiful, think the right size will be very comfortable.
