My First Danskos...and definitely not my last! I got these today; I ordered them yesterday! Zappos rocks when it comes to fast shipping and customer service. These were my first Danskos and I have already ordered another pair in black. I was looking for a shoe with excellent support that could withstand a day of walking and not leave me with achy feet and legs. After a day of walking in these, I am ready for more! I am a size 7 (somewhere between medium and wide) and 37 was perfect for me. There was no breaking in whatsoever, they look great (my feet actually look smaller while wearing these), and are even more comfortable than my sneakers. Thank you Zappos!

Good all-around shoe! This is a great shoe to go along with slacks or jeans. I can wear these to work at my office building and they get comments all the time about how cute they are. They felt a little 'clunky' when I first started wearing them and now I'm used to their style. I really like them. When I was breaking them in, I felt some soreness on the top of my shoe while I was getting used to them, but that went away pretty quickly. I like the rocking style to the sole of the shoe – makes walking a breeze! It took all of about an hour to get used to the slipping heel, just as the Zappos rep stated, but now I don't even notice it.

Dansko - This brand is my favorite for work (I work 12 hr shifts as a nurse). The styling is so cute that I like to wear them with slacks and jeans. They really dress up a pair of jeans. With dress trousers, they look as good as a pair of pumps. If you are new to the brand, you need to realize the heel fit is meant to be loose; this is part of the wearability of the shoe.

Great shoe for being on your feet and on the move! This is my second pair of Danskos and I am once again impressed with its quality. I wore my first pair for several years at work and often found myself hitting the pavement for long distances in them. They are more comfortable and have better support than any tennis shoe I have worn. When I decided I wanted to buy another pair of Danskos, I told myself I wanted to find something that didn't look as chunky as this shoe. After trying on a few other styles, I found that none of them are as comfortable as this style. So I decided to stick with what works and am happy that I did. It does help that the top of this shoe has a design embossed into the leather, which makes it a little prettier than my previous pair.

Awesome shoes - If you are looking for shoes Zappos has the best customer service. I was supposed to get regular shipping and they gave me next day shipping. And they ended up being cheaper than the mall that I was going to buy them from except they didn't have my size... then I found out about Zappos.

Perfect casual shoe - The Dansko Mandolin is so pretty, I receive compliments every time I wear them. They beg to be worn with a great pair of jeans. As others have mentioned, there is some slippage in the heels, even when ordering down a half size. I developed blisters on my Achilles tendons the first two times I wore them (hence the four stars for comfort). Now that I have toughened up, they're very comfortable, with well-cushioned footbeds that make long walks a pleasure (even though I have flat feet). The gold embossing on the vamps doesn't hold up very well, unfortunately, but the pattern stamped in the leather is still very visible, so the charm is still there.

Danskos Mandolin shoe - This is a great shoe. I wear them nearly everyday. I am on my feet constantly and these prove to be very comfortable.

Madolin Dansko's - What a great pair of shoes! On my feet all day as a flight attendant, I needed a good pair of shoes. I love these and would recommend them highly for any career! They're cute and a little chunky, but I still find them more feminine than the Dansko clogs I have had before.

Awesome shoe - This shoe is even better in person! The embossed detail is incredible and the shoe feels wonderful with excellent support. Very true to size.

Pretty shoe - Fit seems true to size, I usually wear wide shoes and these feel fine. The shoes have a 1970's look to them and got many complements when I last wore them.

Wide load - Looks great, nice detail on the vamp. But it does feel larger than I expected. The heel is wide and my foot is slipping out of the shoe.

Danskos - These are another great shoe by Dansko. A little dressier than clogs so they go great with dress pants or jeans. So comfy! Zappos customer service was so awesome! I recommend buying from them to everyone. I'm a customer for life!

A better looking work shoe! Once again Zappos comes thru for me. Great service; my shoes came the next day! The Mandolin is a great looking shoe; I'm a flight attendant that flies overseas flights, so comfort is a must. My last pair were Danskos, but these look much dressier. If you haven't worn Danskos, know that the heel will slip when you walk-it's normal. You won't find a sturdier shoe for long days. My last pair lasted two years.

Love this shoe - I love these loafer-style Danskos for looks, & they're great for walking. The only problem is that they pull my socks down a bit, so I can only wear them with snugly fitting socks. That may be a fit issue, but I know it's the correct size for me. Despite this quibble, I've been wearing them a lot--they work well without socks, too. I always have to order Danskos 1/2 size bigger than my usual shoe size, but I'd say these are true to the usual Dansko fit.

Comfort for teachers - I teach school and by the end of the day my feet use to be so sore and tired. I know come home from work with feet that feel great and a shoe that has great class and style with the comfort. I have received so many compliments on them. Thank you!

I love Danskos and knew I would be buying one style or another when I needed a new pair of shoes for work. I wasn't sure about the embossed flower detail on the Mandolin, but decided to go with it and see. Turns out that the design is subtle, which I like. I got compliments on my Danskos from day one! This pair was a little harder to break in than my last pair, but nothing major. I'm very happy with them. Plus, like everyone says, the shipping was so fast, I barely had to wait for them!

Great shoe! I have struggled to find a black shoe I could wear casually for work. I am an elementary teacher, so I am on my feet almost all day. Anything I saw was too dressy or too young. A co-worked recommended Dansko shoes. While searching, I came across this shoe and I love it! It is a little snug, but I dislike when my shoes are too big.

Comfy. After hearing my friend rave about her Dansko’s, I decided to give them a try. I liked the flower motif on these shoes. I have the black and wish that the flowers stood out as much as they do on the brown pair (I purchased brown first, but decided they weren't a dark enough brown). The shoes took a little bit of breaking in time, but then were quite comfortable. I wear them all the time! I'm going to try the Dansko Lotus next.

Great shoe - I purchased this shoe and it is extremely comfortable. I picked the olive color and it doesn't seem to go with anything I wear. I need to go with a more neutral color for the expense of this shoe--I really want to wear it a lot.

Another Great Dansko! I got the bronze brown 'loafers' and they are so practical yet have a special touch of class. I think these will be my European trip walking shoes. I am a true 7M and these seem half to a quarter bigger ( but who's picky?) I just wear slightly thicker socks. WE NEED THESE IN DARK BLUE FOR JEANS PLEASE! Not enough blue shoes for jeans anywhere.

My new favorite shoe! After a few hours of stiffness these shoes are the only shoes I wear to work in. I am a hairdresser and Dansko’s are the best! These fit a little different than my sport clogs but they are dressier and more professional. Wish they didn't have to be quite so clunky but it is a small price to pay for comfort. You need to remember that Dansko’s tend to fit loose in the heel area; this is how they are supposed to fit.

Awesome shoes - Dansko is the only brand of everyday shoe I will ever wear. I always get numerous compliments on every style I choose. I love these shoes!

Dansko Mandolin - It is a great shoe and it is very comfortable. I have gotten several compliments on how nice they look as well.

Buy a size smaller than you normally wear - I always wear a 39 in every pair of Danskos I have ever worn. This style runs big. I ordered a 39, it was too big. Of course, I sent it back, with out a problem. I just received my 38's today and they fit perfectly. So, my suggestion is, order a size smaller than you normally wear. However, these seem to be the most comfortable Danskos I have ever owned. And they are sooo pretty :)
