We don't usually have enough snow in Central Maryland to need a boot like this -- BUT, when you need them, you need them! I'd heard a lot about Sorel's so I bought some on sale. They definitely keep the snow and ice out, but you kind of feel like you're wearing some medieval footwear on your feet. I can't drive with these things on, because my foot doesn't move. I kind of clump along like an Alaskan robot. Sigh. It's hard to find a good snow boot. I'm hoping maybe it's just the particular Sorel I bought. I might ditch these and try another pair.

The fit is a bit larger than usual, but I just ordered an 8.5 instead of a 9 since I wear both sizes, depending on the shoe. These boots are easy to get laced up and I would definitely wear them with tall socks, like another reviewer suggested. I have not tried them out in the snow yet, but that have kept my feet dry and warm in this wet nasty Virginia weather we have been having this fall and winter. I have worn them out to the barn, like some of the other horse ladies that have reviewed these boots. I like them and I will be testing out their snow-worthiness very shortly.

Too narrow and no support. They are way cuter than the keens, but the keens fit so much better!!

This is a super cute boot. It felt too big & my foot was sloshing around. I have a wide foot, size 8. ordered an 8, but could have gone smaller. It's a very heavy boot, which would be OK in deep snow, but not comfortable for walking around. It was also VERY hard to get my foot down in there. I ended up returning. Disappointed because I really wanted to love them.

While this style looks very attractive, they are difficult for me to slide my foot into (even at a half size larger than I normally wear) and even more difficult to get the boots off. It feels like there is little to no arch support, so that was the deal breaker for me. I used to wear Sorel boots when I was younger and working outside in Colorado, so I was hoping these would work out.

I bought both size 6 and 6.5 for my daughter who usually wears a 6. The 6.5 fit best with wool socks. She wore the boots in temps that were in single digits and they did not keep her feet warm. She said her toes were painfully cold. The boots are very cute but I was disappointed in their performance. They did keep her feet dry in the snow.

Disclaimer: I don't live in a cold climate but purchased these for when I go to one, so I am not exactly a pro at reviewing snow boots. These are so cute and stylish, but they're a lot! I feel like it would really need to be snowy or these would be out of place. i.e., they're not just a "winter" boot, they are a snow boot. I wear an 8.5 in most shoes and ordered a 9. One of the sewn in felt booties seemed a little short - my toe was touching it, making the boot feel too small, but when looking from the outside my toes had plenty of room within the rubber boot. I assume that would stretch over time and not be a problem. I haven't warn these yet, but I can tell they are very warm compared to other boots I have tried. They are a little difficult to walk in because they're so high on the leg, but are otherwise very comfortable. I ordered the Major color and it is not quite brown, not quite green. I love it!

These boots were worth EVERY. DANG. PENNY. They were warm, comfortable, gave me traction in the snow and to top it off they were absolutely adorable.

These are very stylish and I think will be warm. They are heavy but that’s to be expected with snow boots. These would not be comfortable to run errands in but would keep your feet warm outside and heavy snow or very cold temperatures. I am returning them to buy a half size larger. I bought my usual size, 7 1/2. My foot fits in them but feel a little tight in the toe area so I will be returning them for the 8.

Bought this for daughter-in-law, she loves them.

Love these boots! Warm and super cute!

I was really hoping these beautiful boots would work. Unfortunately my foot is on the wide side and these are too tight. They are beautiful and comfortable though. I wore them through my house a few days to try and break them in but so far they are still too tight. These are a 9 and I normally wear 9 and can wear thick socks with these and still get them on. Just too narrow for comfort.

They felt warm and well made, but really heavy.

Felt true to size, roomy in the toe area, and more comfortable than what I was expecting.

I initially ordered a size 10 (I wear a 9.5-10 usually). The 10 was super tight and narrow. Returned them and ordered 11's that fit perfectly.

I got these on a skiing trip in Whistler, Canada. My bunions had moved since the last time I had gone skiing and my old after ski boots were causing me to get blisters. So I think this boot runs a bit wide, which was great for my purpose. I sloshed through rain/snow that can be typical in Whistler. Great boots - kept dry and sure footed.
