Bought these for my daughter. She loves the style. They are very warm and dry. Great boot. Definitely lives up to the Sorel reputation.

Perfect, cute, boot! Love these so much. Very comfy.

Ordered a 9, they fit as expected- a bit roomy to accommodate extra socks. I dig Sorels and have several different styles of their boots in 8.5 or 9. These Joans were Comfy despite no real arch support. Well- made, trendy, and cute- In a Wookie way. Due to their wide foot and the fat furry situation at the top, I felt like I was lumbering around when I walked in them even when laced tight. I get the function of the fur beyond the fashion aspect- to keep out snow. Felt excessive though. I also got the North Face Shellista IV in black to compare. I went with the shellistas. They were lighter, taller - thus more protection when climbing through snow drifts, warmer, more streamlined, better traction, able to accommodate yak trax or whatever your choice of ice traction is, and had more support and cushioning. So I guess it just depends what you’re looking for in a real winter snow boot ?

I live in Minnesota (Minne-snow-ta)... It gets really cold here and snows alot during the winter. I bought these boots just because of our harsh winters. These boots run big like 1 size too big. They are extremely heavy!!! Very warm!!! The only problem is that they are too heavy to wear everyday. I can't even drive in them!!! But when we have a heavy snow fall they are great to shovel in. They definitely keep my feet warm!!! My only complaints are that they run too big and they are way to heavy. But they definitely are snow boots for sure!!

Fits true to size, very warm and stylish!

I had to return the boots because I couldn't get my foot all the way into the boots. I got a half size up and my feet fit the boots just fine.

I bought these specifically for the snow. Got a 1/2 size larger so I can double up on socks (compression socks and then hiking socks). They are snug and took some effort to slide my foot into them, but I figured that was better than being too loose. Kept my feet dry and warm. Was also able to run around in them. Would definitely recommend!

I couldn't get my feet into these boots so I can't tell you anything about them other than that they looked good.

A bit bigger than expected but will be fine if I want to wear multiple socks for warmth.

Absolutely perfect!!

The Sorel snow boot never disappoints. However, if you have skinny ankles, you'll find extra room in that area of the boot, which can be a little annoying. To add extra warmth for really cold weather, I added an UGG footbed insert and it worked like a charm. They can be bought here on Zappos for $20.

I wish I could give a better review but I couldn't get these boots ON! I currently have a pair of Sorel boots that are a 6.5, fit great and are about 10 years old and while I love them, I needed something newer since they are pretty old and worn. I tried a size 7 since some of the reviews seemed to claim to size up and couldn't get my foot either boot. AT ALL. I returned and tried a size 8 thinking maybe a size larger would do the trick and same thing. Couldn't get my foot inside the boot AT ALL. I am really disappointed in how poorly designed the boot entry is, especially for the price. I really wanted to love these and while they're super cute, not being able to even get them on is a huge FAIL. SUPER bummed to say the least.

I normally wear a size 11. The boot was so small I could not even get my foot into the boot, barefoot without a sock! The ankle portion was so narrow I could not even get my foot in. Will return and try a size 12.

It ran a little small. I wore them all day in the cold wet swamps. They are a little heavy, though stylish. Can’t say very comfortable. And I’m usually a 9 and though it says runs trust size, they are tight with only a medium sock on

I have very narrow and flat feet and had no trouble getting these on or off (loosening laces slightly). However, as others have noted, the back of the boot where the rubber and the fabric meet dug into my heel very painfully. They are very cute but unfortunately need to send these back.

Even though these boots have a nice removable insole, overall the boot needed to have sturdier sides to support my daily 5 mile walks.

The 8 is slightly small and the 9 is slightly large. Overall these boots are perfect for my winter weather and the white is beautiful. I only order Sorel boots.

Very cute, stylish and functional. If you are a half size I would order up.
