Finally started snowing where i live and they stand up really well in the cold. They also have good arch support so long winter walks with the kids are great!

The boots are very heavy and not very comfortable .the faux fur was bad quality .I was disappointed especially because price was so high for them .

I really like these boots. But the snap that helps hold the liner in boot has already come out. Was very disappointed with that happening. Now every time I take off the boot, the liner comes out. It is the right boot that this happened to. They are verycomfortable and warm as I wear them everyday for work and am oon my feet for 8 to 10 hours a day.

Perfect snow boots for cold terrain. Easy to walk through snow while keeping your toes warm. A definite must for those who enjoy winter recreation. Order 1 size larger.

I was so looking forward to wearing the Sorel boots that my husband got me for Christmas. While the boots live up to their name for warmth and water proofing, getting them on and off is a chore. The turn at the ankle is too narrow - and a sharp edge inside one boot scrapes the skin each time I put them on (I'm not overweight). I would buy Sorel again, but with more caution.

This stylish boot not only looks good, but feels good too. It's an expensive boot, but what you need to know is it's comfortable, safe (go to wear under all conditions) , and very well made. I need this boot in 24- hours and they delivered.

I bought these a little over a month ago, they are my first pair of Sorel boots, and they're amazing. Takes a little finessing with the lacing in order get the boot on and off more easily with the first few wears. I only wish the winter season was more wintry where I live, so that I could wear these more often than I get to, but I look forward to many seasons ahead. If I have any complaint, it's only that I would want the shaft height of the boot to be a little shorter, but maybe that Sorel boot exists and I just didn't see it.

I bought them after LOTS of "research," looking at tons of different boots, ordering two other pairs that were cheaper and sending them back because I didn't love them. I finally decided to go for it and buy these, even though I felt bad about the price.
I no longer feel bad about the price! I love them!! The leather softens up pretty quickly, they have kept me warm and dry shoveling and on snowy hikes, they are so cute, and I have even taught in them all day a couple of times and been comfortable.
Even the laces are amazing kind of stretchy and pull up so easily. These are so worth it. I'm so glad I finally decided to treat myself!!

I purchased this boot a month ago and where it every single day to hike with my pups in the trails behind my house. I step through some pretty crazy stuff and my feet stay warm and dry! I love them!

I ended up selling these boots on Facebook market place. Price is way too much for what you get. The boot is waterproof, however the very thin rubber and thin insert in the boot doesn't keep your ft warm. The bottom of the boot is completely flat so no support at all. They have terrible traction and they are hard to slip on and off. Wouldn't recommend to anyone

Like the Joans, so comfy, and seem like they will be very warm. They are wide enough to accomodate my bunions, but not so much to look "clownish" like the Sorel 1964. Wish they were a little lighter, but that is probably why they are so warm. So cute with jeans, leggings, my new joggers! But if I am going to spend this much on boots, I will get the color I LOVE, so am going to go with the Camel Brown/Black!! Love Sorels!

So here's the skinny, I bought my normal size 8.5 because winter boots in general usually run large and I'd have room for thick socks. These boots were a whole size too big. Swimming in them even with thick wool socks. I had an extra inch in length. I returned, and got size 8. Way too tight. I could barely get my foot in. Even tried to break them in wearing them 2 days around the house. Bought the 8.5 again figuring I'd just wear them with thick socks cause I liked the style and Sorel in general. (I have several of the wedge style and they fit true to size as well.) This 8.5 that I recieved fit perfectly with regular socks. I suspect that some of the boots' sizes were mis-labled as this just happens sometimes in the clothing industry. So overall it was a slight hassle, but I'm very happy with the boot.

I am very happy with the boots. They are warm and comfortable. They do run small though. And Zappos tried to warn me! I got a pop up suggesting a size larger and I ignored it. I will never do that again- Zappos knows!!! Thank you for the easy exchange ?
