I love my new boots! They are extremely comfortable lightweight and warm. They do run on the larger side and you should get a smaller size than you normally wear.

Although it hasn't been cold or wet enough to even wear them yet the boots look very well made and I like the looks of them. I did try them on on a short time and they seem very comfortable and warm!

Great boots. Sizing guidance says they are true to size. Mine were snug at first but perhaps the liners compressed or something after a few wears. Now I float around in them. Disappointing. I recommend buying a size or half size down.

I previously owned these boots about 30 years ago and finally got a new pair. These new ones are a bit heavier than I expected but other than that they are perfect.

I bought these boots to replace my old Sorel's (they were over 40 years old). I actually only needed new liners in the old ones, but was not able to find them in my size.

I normally wear a woman’s 11 wide. These fit well with a pair of thick socks. They’re solid and bulky. I decided to go with the Caribou wool for the added warmth.

I actually love these boots, although when I opened the box I wasn't so sure I would. I wasn't expecting them to be quite as big and bulky as they are - especially in the toe area (although they don't feel big. It's more on the outside they look huge). BUT, they are SO warm and keep my feet super dry and really that's why I bought them. Great quality. Seriously can't beat them for the price. The generic ratings won't let me change - this boot is better than average.

I'be had these for a couple of winters. Very warm and comfy. I'm a size 8 but went to an 8.5 as I usually do in Sorel boots so I could wear a thicker sock. The width is a little wider than normal. They are a heavy boot but that was expected.

A nice looking boot. The recommendations for choosing a size didn't work. We started with 11D and went to 11 1/2 D and both were short and arch was not in correct spot. Wanted to try for size 12D and only a 17 D size was available. Sizes of street shoes now worn are 11 1/2 and 12.
I'd also recommend:
I have always enjoyed the Sorel Boot and don't know other brands to match it.

Shoveling snow in CO these are great to keep your feet warm and dry. They have been great. They seem to run a little large, mainly long. But thick socks, although not needed do the trick. Love my Sorels.

This boot is wonderfully warm for extended periods outside in very cold weather. When the boots arrived I was not able to completely advance my foot into the boot past the forward area where the laces begin. Since the boot width seemed adequate from the outside, my husband used his fist to stretch that area from inside the boot, just enough to allow my foot to pass. I expect that area will stretch over time but for now I wear a very thin sock in order to slip my foot past that area of the boot.

I went up a half size because they are not a wide width and they feel good. They are a heavy boot in weight but it's worth it - the weight comes from the excellent sole. I have had 2 pairs of Sorels in my life and I hope this pair lives up to those.

I think, as the mfg says, these run a little big. I went down 1/2 a size and I normally wear a wide and the D seems fine. Have not had this style of boot for many years but wanted something warmer and will see how they do in next snow storm.

Got winter? Snow? These are the boots you want. Warm. Weather proof. Easy to get on and off but simple to get them snug enough to keep them from getting lost in a drift. While no longer made in Canada, they seem as solid as any pair of Sorel's I've owned in the past. No real arch support in them to speak of, but the liner is soft and has some loft to it that'll crush and form to your foot shape over time.
-1 on overall because they're too bulky to drive my GTI with -- they get stuck on the side of the brake pedal when I'm on the gas or clutch. Is what it is. And because I miss the days when they were made in Canada.

Still breaking them in, but the height of the boot hits the calf in an uncomfortable spot. I'm hoping that tying them loose and more wear and tear will soften them up so they won't be so tight. Love the durability of this brand, and the look is great too. They are so warm, I've been wearing them around the house as house shoes too. Overall, really Love them :)

I am from Michigan and snow is expected. After going through a few different pairs of boots, I made the investment to buy these boots. They are a great boot for all kinds of cold weather and snow conditions. The only complaint that I have is they are a little heavy when you are walking for a long time but I assume that's because they are great quality. You won't be disappointed with this purchase!

These boots are perfect if you want something to keep your feet warm. I live in South Dakota, I hunt during the winter and my feet stay warm then entire time! They run about a half size big I think. Again, if you want something to keep your feet warm in the winter, these boots will be those go to boots for you.

I absolutely love these boots. I live in the upper Midwest so we get a lot of snow and cold. These boots keep my feet warm and dry while shoveling and while snowmobiling. I ordered my true shoe size because of other reviews but would probably order a half size up next time so I could wear a little thicker sock. They look awesome too.

These boots absolutely do their job - they are extremely warm and have great grips on the bottom. So they are a great winter/snow boot. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is because they are really heavy. I wish they were slightly lighter and then they would be perfect.

I am normally a size 9 for shoes, but I ended up preferring a size 10. I like to have a little extra room when it comes to winter boots for thicker socks. It's a very stylish winter boot. A little chunky for my taste so I exchanged for Tofino II size 10.Good quality and comfortable though.

I have the Sorel duck boots in an 8.5 so when i bought these, i expected them to fit the same. They were 1 full size too large.
They are a bit heavier than i would like but the joan of Arcs are too tall. i wish there was a lighter Caribou available. I had to swap them and pay to ship them back and forth.

I purchased the Caribou wool boot for a recent goose hunt in North TX. The temperatures during our hunt was 19 degrees and we were sitting in ground blinds with 20 mile an hour winds. The boots were warm for the first few hours, then my feet began to feel some cold from the sole.
I had medium weight hunting socks. The boots did not have an insole, just the wool felt boot insert.
These boots need an insulated insole to keep your feet warm. The cold seem to come through the bottom sole. I purchased some insulated insole which I will try on my next trip. The boots fit better with insoles and should solve the cold problem from the sole.

This is my second pair of these. First pair was used and lasted about 10 years. Hoping to get the same amount of time out of these. I use them for walks with the dogs. Running quick errands and such 8 months out of the year. Will not abuse this pair as much as my first pair, ie using them for work. If you are looking for a comfortable pair of slip on boots for everyday light use, you will not go wrong buying these.
