These boots are great for my son. I am disappointed in Sorel for no longer focusing on warm boots, but only cute boots. Sorel used to focus on both. Even Uggs lists their temp rating clearly like Sorel USED to and have far more options. Last winter I needed new lining for my boots and had to wait over a year for you to have it back in stock.
Disappointed I,

My last pair of Sorel Caribou boots where purchased in the early 1990's. I am confident my new pair are to last as long or longer. I can't say enough about the quality and durability. BTW, I am keeping my old boots and plan to fix them up enough to wear again next winter. 2 thumbs up!!!!!

Ordered online, received boots promptly. Sorel advises sizing down since boots are cut large. I stayed with my normal boot size and the Sorel's were tight. I could only wear them with light socks, and they were tight across the top of the arch. Returned - which was fairly easy - and ordered a half size larger. Couldn't just exchange them. Had to return one and order the second size. Replacements showed up and fit worse. Felt liner is much thinner than it used to be, and on the boots I got the felt wouldn't even meet at the top of my arch or my ankle. That means in cold only my sock and the leather tongue protect my foot from the outside temp's. Arch of boot was also tight where the tongue is sewn in. Can't comment on durability. Poor fitting on two pair indicate a quality control problem. If you're going to buy these, go into a store and try them on first. When I called to return the second pair Sorel said there was a return fee. Customer service did agree to waive the fee when I talked with them some more about why I was returning the boots. Pity. I used to lover Sorel's.

They fit well, but are a bit heavier and bulkier than I expected. I went down a half size after reading the comments, and they fit well.

My pair of Sorel Caribou finally wore out after 10+ years of use. I use them for snow blowing, snowshoeing and winter camping. They have not let me down for warmth and comfort even in below zero temps.

The last pair of Caribous that I owned were a pair that I purchased around 1979. They were from a liquidator of factory seconds. One boot had a Sorel sole and the other had a Vibram sole. I wore them in mud, snow and acid mine discharge during the winters of 1980-81 and 1981-82. I paid $29.95 for them back then and they survived into the early 1990s. They always kept my feet warm and dry. I finally decided to buy a new pair to combat any further heavy winters that the Sierra Nevadas might throw at us.

Great boots. Wore them for 2 straight days of snowmobiling. Temps were 20-34*. Never leaked, never got cold, and they were pretty comfortable right out of the box. Fit was true to size for me.

First, a big thank you to the person I spoke to in customer service. Unfortunately I do not remember his name, however, he played a key role in making sure my boots arrived in time for my trip. My order had been delayed due to the storm in Portland. He helped expedite my order so I could have in time for my upcoming ski trip. They showed up literally in the nick of time as I was walking out the door to head to the airport. That not only made my day but my trip. I spent the next week warm, toasty and comfortable on a snowmobile, extreme sledding and other winter activities. I have always been a big fan of Sorels, was in need of a new pair and cant thank the gentleman in customer service enough who helped me. My trip went from good to great because of it!!! Thank you!!!!

Soles delaminated after 30 times worn. Unacceptable for this price point.

It's a heavy boot, but easy to get on and off. The website suggested to order a 1/2 size smaller, so I did. The fit is wide at the toes, but OK. It's stiff material, I'm hoping it becomes more flexible as I walk in them. I'm in Idaho and have had extreme cold, these boots have kept my feet warm.

Great boots! I bought them to replace the original Sorel boots that I purchased many years ago and finally had to retire. Would recommend this boot for both quality and performance.

The rubber cracked along the heal on both boots so much that the snow gets in and they are now useless. The soles are hardly worn at all yet but because it's past their limited 1 year warranty they won't do anything about it. $200 boots and they lasted two seasons.

Comfortable, warm but a complete pain taking the boots off. Once you take the boot off the complete lining of the boot comes out. These boots would be great if this didnt happen, Every single time!

Nothin to get excited about, decent cold weather boot, a tiny bit on the pricey side ($212 to my door with tax and license) Washington State.

I have always wanted a pair of Sorel Caribous! They seem a bit narrow, but that may correct as the lining breaks in. Otherwise, very comfortable and warm for the Michigan winters. Lighter in weight than I expected. I hope they have the durability theyre known for.

I bought this boot along with a pair for my wife over one month ago. She got her pair along with a photo confirmation of delivery. I do NOT have my boots. Said they were delivered but there was no photo confirmation. Sorel opened an investigation with lazership and still no answer. Customer service seems like they have their hands tied. These boots will not make for great springtime footwear! Refund my money or send the boots!

My daughters and I bought these boots for my husband for Christmas in 2020. We live in Colorado so he only wears them in winter. The rubber on the uppers has split completely through on both boots along the big toe side. One of the leather straps that held D-ring for laces has also torn off. His pair of Polar Sorels that he owned prior to these lasted over 20 years. Too bad quality is not at all the same.
