You know when you order a Frye boot, you are getting quality! I have a feeling I will Never wear these out. Love the boot, size is true. Since I just got the boot they are a little tight but not so much that they are uncomfortable or rubbing my foot. I highly recommend this boot!

The fit didn't work for me. The boot shaft is very soft and heavily pebbled leather. The shaft is more like a slouch look, does not stay up on it's own, so not what I was expecting.

I hesitated to buy these boots due to the cost, but the time came to replace some brown motorcycle boots I've had for nearly 10 years. These boots are incredible; I regret waiting! They look perfect with jeans, and with tights and skirts - I will wear these every single day for winter. They just took a few days to break in.
I'm an 8.5 with normal width feet and with socks the 8.5 Fryes felt just a teeny bit tight at first. And they rubbed on the back. But my toes are in the right place, and I know my feet tend to get broken in by shoes rather than the other way around. Just a few days and they feel like tennies now, that's how comfortable they are! I can't imagine how awesome they are going to feel and look in a few years. I feel like these boots are built for longevity. I'm so happy with them!

I was a bit nervous about these boots based on other reviews about heel slipping and also an old pair of Fryes I had that were super heavy. Well, these boots are absolutely yummy. The leather is so soft and supple. The boots are lightweight but sturdy, and the toe box even in the regular width is perfect for my feet that are used to flip flops and being barefoot. I usually wear either a 7.5 or 8 and ordered the 8. It’s true, there is a slight heel slip but I can feel it diminish as they are breaking in. Will be great to wear with skinny jeans.

These were not as slouchy as they appear in the video, which was a pleasant surprise! Loved the fit of these boots, not nearly as painful to break in and some Frye boots can be. This pair is a great Fall/Winter staple. Fits true to size and width.

The boots were very nice. They appeared to be well made, and beautiful leather. My wife's feet are wider than average though, and there was not enough room in the toe area. We returned them. Trying another brand.

I wanted the exact boot shown in the picture: a burnished, rustic reddish brown with the FRYE name spelled out on the buckles. I did not get the version shown. I received a dark brown with just the F on the buckles: the latest model of this boot. The boot I received is just like the picture in the photo gallery (Ana from New York). You will not get the one in the picture that Zappos shows. I called customer service and they have no way of getting that boot because there are different warehouses they ship from. Sadly, I had to return them but I found the exact boots (pristine new condition) on ebay for $80.00!
No doubt about it though, the new version is beautiful too but I wanted the older version. The newer style is not as rustic looking.

I’ve had these boots in black for about 4 years, and I wear them almost daily in the winter. So when I saw them on sale in brown, I had to have them. These fit slightly bigger than my other pair, but they’re still fine. I usually wear them with thicker tights or a pair of peds.

The boot is absolutely adorable! They look great with jeans or a casual dress. I’m sure it just needs broken in a bit longer as it was initially snug across the toes and loose in the heel. I’m afraid the next size down will be too tight though.

I normally wear a 9.5 and originally ordered a 9 after reading some reviews. Those were super tight, so I returned those and ordered my normal 9.5 and they fit! My heal does slip and i read plenty of reviews that mentioned the same issue. I've only worn them a couple of times but already notice that it doesn't happen as much. So totally not an issue, which is awesome cause I love these. There simple, and super cute with skinny jeans which is what I wanted them for.

Size seems to be the biggest question mark about these boots: I wear an 8.5 in almost all shoes, as well as in other Frye boots. Had to order up to a 9 in order to get a comparable fit: i.e. room in the toe box for movement and loose enough heel to get easily in and out of the boot.
Love the style. I'm 5'5" and curvy, so booties tend to just make my legs look thick. The boots hit at a really flattering mid-calf height, and their looseness adds a certain casualness to the boots that I really like.

These boots are beautiful & very comfortable. The leather is great quality and definitely meets Frye's classic high standards. I've had a number of Frye boots and they last forever. Plus, the quality is so high that you can get them resoled forever. I bought the size recommended by the sizing chart & they were a half-size too small. Zappos' fixed me up in no time with their stellar customer service, & the next 1/2 size up fits perfectly. Highly recommended.

These boots are 100% the best boots I've ever bought. They are so fantastic looking, and right off totally comfortable. I ordered a size 7.5 (I wear 7.5 in most shoes, 8 in running shoes), and they fit perfectly. I had no trouble sliding my feet in, but I do have fairly slender feet. I would HIGHLY recommend these boots.

Great boots, light and comfortable! One thing to note: the brown color in the picture is much lighter than the actual boots. These are VERY dark brown. Maybe they will get lighter overtime. Still great boots thou!
