I ordered both size 6.5 and 7, because, depending on the shoe, my high instep doesn't fit through the ankle. I didn't look at which was which before I tried them on, and was certain that the roomier one was the 7, but it wasn't. I was a bit confused and did a quick measurement of the inside, and the 6.5 shoe was a ~ 1/4" longer than the other! I wonder how often often this happens. I love Frye boots and will keep buying them, but I will always try a couple of each size if I can.

Typically wear 6.5 in boots and 7 in sneakers, ordered 7 based on reviews here and Frye. Too floppy even with boot socks. I have a slender foot, thin ankle and calves. Returned for a 6.5. Great customer service experience. Nice construction. Rich color. Needed a little break in, as the foot was a little stiff. Upper shaft is soft. Beautiful boot!! Will definitely order Frye boots in other colors and styles.

I am normally a size 11 in boots and these fit well in 11. I do have a little heel slipping as others have noted. I have worn them almost daily for a week. The slipping is less now. The leather smells fantastic. It is very soft on the shaft, yet still stands up. I don't even feel them on my legs. The sole is grippy and substantial (which i like in a boot) and the foot leather is firm and feels like it is molding to my foot. The footbed has a bit of arch support and I find it comfortable for my 55 yr old feet. These are my first pair of Frye boots and have quickly become my favorite. I got the black and they look great with jeans or leggings tucked in. I feel like a million bucks when I wear them. Love Love Love them. Worth the money.

Beautiful boots! They don't need any breaking-in time. The leather is soft and supple. My main concern is they run 1/2 size larger. I ordered the 5.5 and normally wear a size 6. My feet are somewhat narrow and my ankles slender, so they do have a small amount of slipping when walking. I might be looking at the tall Veronica slouch boots next!

Love this style! Soft leather, like the slouchy /casual look. Have not yet worn them for longer walking. I originally ordered the 6.5 which is often my size, but ended up going with a 6 which feels like the perfect fit. I have a narrower foot, so happy this boot is not too wide.

This is my first pair of Frye boots and I love them. They do take a little breaking in, but nothing extreme. I've worn them probably three times now, for a full day each time, and the last time I wore them I could tell that my foot was seated more comfortably. I usually wear a 10 and got these in 10 and they fit perfectly. A little slide in the heel at first, which is good. The slouchy look of the shaft is stylish and makes these boots versatile with pants, skirts, dresses...

I love them! the width is a lil to be big but I will get use too no big deal if I get to order more what is your suggestion? overall I like them thank you and let me know about your discounts . BERTA

I went into a size larger than I normally buy in a shoe and so glad I did. These fit me so well. No problems getting them on because they are very soft and there is a buckle on the side to let out if you need to. I am just amazed how well these feel on my feet. They are good looking, too, and just what I wanted!!! Shipping was next day which really shocked me, too. I am so pleased with this whole experience!

I guess you can say I love these boots! Last year I got the black and brown during the winter and I received so many compliments. They look great with skirts, jeans, dresses. A great boot for a girl on the go that wants to look fashionable. This fall I noticed the camel colored were on clearance so I decided to give it a try. The color is definitely lighter than what you see online but it's something a little different which is nice. I do have to say that I ordered a 5.5 in all of these boots and they fit great! I own other Fryes in a size 6 but there would be no question that I would have to size these down. I highly recommend these.

Love these. I wear a size 8 1/2- 9 on average and the size 39 fit great.

This buttery, beautiful boot in the light camel is absolutely unique and simply gorgeous! Sturdy, but not at all "combat" looking. Rugged, yet feminine. Super well-made as Frye's always are. Love this boot and cannot wait to wear it all Fall, Winter, and Spring!! However, as far as sizing goes.....I'm consistently an 8.5 and read many reviews suggesting to size up. I started with a size 9 and SWAM IN IT!!! Returned that pair for an 8.5 and still SWAM!!! Returned them for a size 8 and held my breath as I slipped them over my feet. PERFECT!!!!! So, if you are really true to size, order one size down, unless you have fat feet! Seriously!! Thank you Zappos for your extraordinary customer service and patience. You guys rock and are by far my very fave company in the world!!

I love these so much. You can count on Frye for excellent workmanship, and they are so stylish and cute. Not to mention comfortable. I either have one foot with a slightly taller instep, or there is a smidgen difference in this area of the two boots, but it is minor. I have to unbuckle one of them instead of simply pulling it on like the other.

These are one of the few pairs of Frye boots I've ordered and got the sizing right on the first try. Fit is great, easy for me to get on. They're lighter than I expected (camel), but still love. I got them to wear around my horses, but I want to wear them everywhere. Great with shorts/dresses/everything.

These are my go-to boots for everything!! They are comfy and i can wear them all day without the worry of blisters. One thing i love about these boots is that they have a rugged sole So that you do not have to worry about slipping or sliding. I have purchased other Frye boots and the bottoms would be so smooth that i actually slid on my carpet. I wear a size 11 in most shoes so the 11 in these boots fit well.

I have narrow feet and this is the second pair of Frye boots I've purchased from Zappos. I read all the reviews and went a size down. I normally wear a 9N and I purchased 8 1/2M. Both pair of my Frye boots fit narrow feet excellent. Yes, it does take a bit to break them in. I wear a thin sock and wear my boots around the house until they mold to my feet. The Veronica Shorties are gorgeous supple leather. I love Zappos! You won't be disappointed!

These boots are well made and look great. Be aware that the top of the boot is more slouchy and suede material and not firm leather. I had to return mine as I ordered and 8.5 and needed a 9. The 8.5 fit if I didn't need a sock. And I need socks. LOVE Frye shoes. Have a good day all you shoe lovers!

I love Frye and have had a pair of these in the camel color and love them and have been wanting them in Black and was so excited to see them on sale. They are comfy and really cute. I like that they are a little slouchy. I have big calves and it makes it easier to get them on and off and I don’t look stuffed in them. They are a little heavy but I don’t mind.

These shoes are beautiful! The reviews were spot on...order a half size smaller and you will be happy. I normally take 6 but the 5.5 were perfectly. Good with socks and tights. The color is very nice. I am eyeing the black.
