I love these boots! They go w everything.

The fit on these boots is just not right. The 6.5 was too big and the 6 felt even larger. Disappointing

I went back and forth on if I should order half a size larger or not after reading the reviews. I went with my normal size 9. When the boots arrived you immediately smell the leather. The color Redwood is beautiful and luxurious. Once on, they do feel a bit tight, especially across the top of the toes, and rub a bit in the heel. This is going to be a non issue for me as I have a narrow foot. I'm currently breaking them in, wearing them a few hours inside every day. After having them on for about half an hour you can feel the leather easing up. I'm glad I went with my normal size, as sizing up would have been too big for me. They may not be good for those who have wide feet, as they probably require more break in time. I absolutely love them, and look forward to wearing them once they are broken in.

Great everyday boot! Very cute with skinny jeans, skirts and shorts. Usually wear 8-8.5, ordered an 8 and they are a bit narrow, but stretching with time. For sure size up if you have wider feet.

Second pair of these boots. Order .5 size up and break them in! They will last for a LONG time!

It is a beautiful boot! Fits good. Fits true to size. I purchased an 11

I have been wearing size 11 for almost 50 years. Ordered 11s. Couldnt wait to get them. These boots are beautiful, but about two sizes too small. Fryes sizing is ridiculously skewed. I wrote to customer service 3 times and called 3 times to discuss the issue with them. Customer service is completely unavailable by phone and email responses appear to be auto generated. I had to pay a $12 return shipping fee for Fryes poor sizing. I will never purchase from Frye again.

Love them! I sized up to an 8 because I wear 71/2 W. Im wide calfed and the leather is buttery soft. Bonus they were on sale!

I waited for months to order these boots as the conflicting reviews were confusing me. Some people seemed to love them and some people werent sold. Id wanted another pair of boots in this style for YEARS and had never quite managed to find the perfect pair. Unfortunately, I still havent. These boots are very well made but theyre also very slouchy. Theyre also not as tall as I thought theyd be (yes I know theyre called short). From the photos, the black and brown colors appeared to be more rigid than the lighter colors and thats what I was hoping for, but sadly no. The upper is incredibly slouchy. The sizing is true to size although they seem wider in the heel than most pairs of boots I own. Do not size up unless youre planning on using an inner sole! I wouldnt say that Im disappointed with my purchase as Ill definitely still get years of use out of these boots; lets just say that Im happy I didnt pay full price!

Love the looks of these boots but not very comfortable. They rub on my heels. And since I already wore them, I cant return them

I should have listened to reviews regarding lack of customer service. Boots defective, did not match, my size sold out while I waited on a response. I also did not receive a full refund on this defective pair.

Love the look, however the heel feels stiff with no give . My heel lifts when I walk but fits in the toe area. Ill be using pads until I break them in to prevent blisters. Also, I have another Frye pair of ankle boots size 8 with no issue, perfect fit and comfortable. These, not so much. Dont want to pay $12. to return. Cant wear thick socks with them either. Disappointed overall.

that she had to have after her first pair of vintage Frye's finally started to wear out (no idea how old they were). She loves them more than any other shoe and wears them every day. Thank you for your quick response and exchange for the needed size. Happy Holidays!

I really love these boots. The quality of leather is great. They do run a little small. I am usually a size 8.5 and I sized up to 9 based on previous reviews. I'm glad I did. They were still a little snug at the top of the foot with a thin sock but are stretching little by little. Overall very comfy! Highly recommend if you do not have a wide foot.

Not the same color as pictured. Returning them. Boot is very wide and the top. Would have liked to see a picture of someone wearing the boot. It's hard to buy shoes online.

I love my other Frye boots but this pair I bought were way too big. I usually wear and 8 and based on reviews I got an 8 1/2 and they are huge. Even before I bought them I couldnt get a hold of customer service. Had I known about the 40 return policy I definitely would have waited. Not happy with this purchase!

I went by the reviews and went up a size higher 8.5 even though I wear an 8 and the 8.5 are way too big. I would of given 5 stars but I cant even wear them

You sent me a boot with defects in the left boot I had to return, not happy with the product at all

My daughters Christmas gift was the Veronica short boot. She loved them and has bought boots from Frys a couple of years ago. She was so surprised and they fit 8.5 to size. So glad I could give her this boot at a discount price.

These boots are made of really nice leather, but that's about it. I ordered a size 8 and they fit well. My heal slides a lot, but there is no way I could size down. The insoles are thin and not comfortable, if you plan to wear them for long periods. I love the look of these boots, but just wish they had more padding on the inside. I'm a little disappointed. considering how much they cost.
