Well I was excited to order these but the problems started as soon as I opened the box. Did I receive a pair that had already been returned by someone? The interior box was sloppily closed, and the padding/insert was not even in one boot. Only one of the boots had a Frye tag attached, and there was (dog? cat?) hair on the bottoms of the boots. That was very disappointing! Anyway, I thought I could get past these issues if I loved them but when I tried them on, I had to unbuckle them in order to get them over my arches. For a pull-on boot, I don't want to have to unbuckle them each time and rebuckle them. I had ordered a half size up based on previous reviews, but they were too big once I got my feet in them! They have no lining whatsoever, and are a very thin leather shaft, while being kind of thick and clunky on the foot. I did not think they are flattering. The color is a light grey, but it looked darker on the website, and I did not even like the color. Back they are going, and I am not exchanging for a different color or size. Zappos DOES make returning easy, and while I have been a customer for many years, I have never had to return anything before now, and that part is super easy.

Sadly I have to return these. I have never paid this much money for a pair of shoes but I was looking forward to these being my "go to" boots for everything! I am normally a size 10. This size 10 was way way too tight. As it is the boots make my feet look really big so I can't imagine wearing a size 11. I'm sad.

Extremely uncomfortable when I put these on out of the box. I know Frye's need to stretch but these were already slightly larger than my usual size and I was in pain the minute I put them on. I am returning them the very next day. In addition, the quality of these boots does not look the same as Frye boots I've bought in earlier years - they almost looked like "knock offs" to me. Very disappointed in the boot. Not Zappos fault and their service was great but the product was not. I am very surprised at all of the high ratings.

Adorable boot but very narrow. I have two other pairs of Fryes that I love but these are definitely cut differently.
