Bulletproof. My kids trash these things and they take a licking and keep on ticking. The best money I've spent on sandals. They wear them all spring, summer, and fall. The soles seem to never wear out. Best part about these Keens is the toe coverage. No skimmed up toes while riding bikes and playing.

These are the most comfortable shoes for kids in warm weather. Offer the comfort of tennis shoes, with the breathability of sandals. And my son loves the camp color.

Fits true to size. My son wears these everyday. They are easy to put on and take off. Great for everyday wear.

The Newport H2 is the perfect Keen, and this holds true for kids' sizes as well. Durable, comfortable and cool in more ways than one, my son put these on out of the box and hasn't taken them off since (okay, maybe in necessary cases).

My 7 yr old loves these, and he will probably live in them this summer, just like every previous summer! Perfect for scrambling about, sturdy enough to hike in, but smart enough to eat out in, too. If they get icky, just bung them in the washer and they are as good as new. Our children never really wear them out, they just grow out of them, and we pass them down for many more months of play!

My son is very hard on shoes. This shoe is made very well and I know that he will be able to wear them all Summer. They are worth the price!

These keens are the best we have bought these for our 4 grandsons since they were small. There is not as much tripping or falling like in flip flops or other sandals with open toes. These also can go in the water or out which helps when camping.

I bought these for my 11 year old son for summer camp and he absolutely loves them! They are comfortable, stylish and easy to throw on in a few seconds...perfect for a boy on the run! They run a little on the long side and wish they came in half sizes but we will definitely get another summer out of them! Passed a few pairs of these on to other kids when we were done and they are still going strong! Just toss in washing machine and they are like brand new! Zappos has the best price around on these shoes and are a pleasure to do business with!

Great summer shoe! Keeps the toe protected and wears like a sneaker. I have washed them 2 times already and still look awesome! Just order up a size or 2, run small.

These are the best summer sandals for boys. They are easy to put on, last forever (we hand ours down to a cousin) and who does not love the new camo pattern.

I bought my son a pair of Keen Newports a few years ago and they were great. When I was looking for something similar this year I couldn't find ones I liked that had the open heel/back. I purchased a different brand that was more like a sandal that had the toe covered and was just a few dollars cheaper and ended up returning them because they just didn't seem to be made to the same quality as Keen. I ordered these and my son loves them!

I purchased these shoes for my son because he was required to have closed toe sandals for camp. He loved picking out the color and when the shoes arrived he fell in love with them. They are sturdy, well made and I would buy more in the future.

A must shoe, especially for travels! Toes are protected, very durable, comfortable, and cool looking colors. Straps and toggle allow kids to adjust comfort. Worn and tested in desert, beach, hiking, and long walks.

My son chose this shoe from the start but I made him try a few other styles first that were on sale. The others just did not fit right. The pull closure on this pair works best for his feet. Color wise it was not my choice but he was thrilled! I choose keens for my kids summer shoes, they are a great protective shoe for summer fun. My 11 year old son loves these. They are easy to put on. They are easy to wash off. He can wear them with or without socks. He just got back from Boy Scout camp and these were his primary. Good for wet, good for dry. Worth the money.

When I first saw this, I thought it was too expensive for kids. However, my co-worker told me he has a pair and it's like walking on air. So I bought one. My son loves it so much. Not only the design but he says it's so comfortable. Bought 2 more pairs for my other boys.

We love these shoes. I started buying these for my boys a few years ago. They have all of the qualities of a gym shoe, but in a sandal. Just what they need for summer. They also wear really well (I am able to hand them down to my younger son even though they were worn almost every day by my older son). I highly recommend this product. A little more expensive, but definitely worth it.

I bought these shoes for my 7 yr. old son. He loves them. They are easy for him to slip on and are very comfortable for these busy summer days! They can be worn virtually anywhere. They provide great traction and are waterproof. Loved them so much I bought another pair for my 9 yr old.

Very pleased with this shoe. I have been buying sandals for my son at Kohl's, Target, etc. but the quality in those shoes is rapidly getting worse. So, decided to spend more and see what happened. Very pleased with the quality and the fact that there is some arch support for my some who is quite flat-footed. This is a "lower end" Keen, but I wanted to see how we liked the brand before we try the more expensive ones. This one is fine for summer for an active 9 year old. Would definitely recommend.

These are nicely made, so much so that the whole family is going to be wearing them soon. Got them for my son's summer day camp which doesn't allow sandals, however with the closed toe and heel it passes requirements. Plus for our own camping trips these sandals will go anywhere.

Purchased for son who loves and wears them constantly. Only complaint is the lace tightener thing broke a few days after purchase on one shoe. Keen promptly replaced for us. Pricey for a kids sandal but wear well.

Great shoe. True to size. They are a little wide on my son, but he has narrow feet. Keen has great shoes and are durable. We live in a rural area, so Zappos.com is great for us! Prices are competitive (these shoes were cheaper on Zappos), return policy is amazing.
