Size 5 in big kids fit fine. I usually wear a size 7 in women's shoes. I purchased this style because the solid back of the shoe holds an orthotic insert in place. The cutouts should help keep feet cool in the summer.

I'm an older female with small feet and I bought youth size 5 and am very happy with these sandals! (I also bought a pair of Rintin, youth size 5, but they are not comfortable - the heel area is rather short which makes the foot tilt forward and there is no cushioning to soften the contact with the ground).

I bought these shoe for my five year old boy. He has very wide feet and also has had foot pain problems in the past. He likes these shoes and does not complain of foot pain when he wears them. His feet also get very hot so these are good for that reason as well. The sale price quite good. I was happy to write this review when asked to do so. These shoes are great and in addition I have had to exchange Zappos shoes in the past for my two boys and the service is always excellent, they make it so simple.

Comfortable and fits well. True to size. The opening is a little small, even though I extended the elastic to its fullest. My son uses a shoe horn to put these sandals on.

What can I say about these shoes? This is our sixth pair between two kids. We buy a new pair every two years. I hand down the old ones and they still look like new. These are perfect for summer anything; the beach, camping, running through puddles of mud, they wash off easily. A no brainer!

My daughter loves these shoes -- I get a new pair for her every year. Only reason I get a new pair is because she wants other colors. They are dependable -- love them.

How do you say Love in any other words? My son loves these so much. No pain, no blisters, just easy on and off comfortable shoes. Highly recommended by him so much so that I now am ordering his sister a comparable pair.

These are wonderful shoes and my daughter loves them! They're versatile for hot summer months in camp, as they're not sandals (not allowed) and not hot "shoes" requiring socks. They're super comfortable and Zappos' service is wonderful.

These are my favorite shoes ever! I have worn them just about everyday for six months and I absolutely love them! They get a little stinky now that I go on so many adventures but I am now shopping for a second pair. I use them for working out, and daily use.

Would not have bought my son any other shoe! These have become the shoe of choice for the summer. If your kids don't own a pair or pairs, they must!

I got these for my 11 year old son. They are great! He wears them everyday to summer camp. He loves them and has never complained of them rubbing or anything. We love our Keens. :)

Awesome Keens. I wear a Ladies 8.5 and these are just a tad to small. :( So if you where a ladies 8 these will be awesome at more than 1/2 the price.

I bought these sandals for my son, who was going on an Outward Bound wilderness canoeing trip. When he arrived for the course, he saw that his instructors had the same shoes. They are excellent! He found them very comfortable, with an easily adjustable width. They protect the toes, dry quickly and are simply fantastic.

Great shoe for my 7 year old. He wears them all the time and as always the fast shipping was greatly appreciated.

Love these sandals! Well worth the price. Kids can walk, run and splash in the water. They play in the sand and mud without me having to worry about toes getting hurt by rocks or losing shoes in the water. I'm a big fan. We get a new pair every summer!
