These are such sturdy shoes. The toes are covered. This means small children can ride bikes or play basketball without fear of slipping or getting hurt. The tread prevents slipping too. Much better than the Tevas we had last year.

We absolutely love these sandals. These are the main shoes that my three kids wear all summer. They each get a new pair every spring. We buy them plenty roomy and they have always lasted well through warm fall school days when sandals are still appropriate. This is our third year buying these and aside from dress shoes for special occasions, they are the shoe worn pretty much every day by them, April through August. Shoes for small, growing feet are so important. I have found cheaper sandals just fall apart or rub feet the wrong way and just are not worth it when you have to replace again and again. These Keens have never worn out or had any straps break and when they get dirty we have washed them up and they look like new. They have a solid, covered front toe area so they can hike, bike, climb, run on the beach, wade through our creek or whatever with protected toes and comfortable support. They wear these shoes everywhere. A note on the fit- they seem pretty roomy/wide to me. One of my sons has wide feet but a regular Keen shoe fits his wide feet fine. My daughter has slim, narrow feet and hers are about half to a full size smaller than the rest of her shoes. All three have never complained about hurting, never had blisters. We will wear these until they outgrow the size chart!

My son was comfortable in these sandals, and withstood all the tough things he subjected it to. Also not too hot on his feet, even with socks. Would purchase a larger size once he outgrows this.

These came in on time and were exactly what I wanted at a good price. I usually wear a Ladies 7 but the Big Kid 5's work for me at a much better price.

My daughter's Feet hurt when when she runs our place for too long. The shoes have been a Godsend. They give her support and just the right areas so that she can play for hours and walk all day and never have any feet complaints! The only problem is that her feet is growing and so I tried to order these in the smallest woman size and those new ports do not fit the same and are styled differently. So after her foot completely crawled out of the six I'm not sure what the next shoe will be. By the way the shoe last for one year and she only wears the shoes every day!

These shoes are great. We are not new to Keens, but they are really what my son needs for the summer. Easy on, can wear in the water, protects toes. I know there is discrepancy about the fit, he has a wider foot and they fit well, toe box is a little wide, but they can cinch up too, so for kids it's good that they have give. Also if you are familiar with the adult version, these have more protection at heel (totally covered) which can make it harder to extract the odd pebble without taking them off. They were absolutely perfect for his week at Boy Scout camp.

I am really thrilled with these shoes. I am a woman in my 60's with small feet. The size 2 fit perfectly and they are so comfortable- very cushioned. And you can adjust the width easily. Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again, Zappos and Keen!

I just received my annual order of kids Keen sandals form Zappos, for my two grandchildren. I think this is the fourth year. They are great summer shoes, cute and cool as sandals should be, but lots of protection for their feet. The kids can run through stubbly fields, and through streams safely and comfortably. I do wish they dried more quickly when they got wet, but it is a small inconvenience. Zappos' service if fantastic. I ordered these on a Saturday afternoon, and received them on Monday. It is good to know that return shipping is free, if I guess wrong on the sizes.

My son loves these shoes. Stylish looking shoe/sandal. Comfortable. My son has worn them almost every day this summer. Comfortable and durable. I'd buy this brand again.

I get a pair of these shoes for my boys every summer. I think I must have them in every size between a child size 10 and 5. They both love them, and wear them often. They wear them at water parks, at the beach, and just about everywhere they go. I like that their toes are protected,. They wear very much like tennis shoes, but work like saddles. They hold up well, and I usually only have to buy a pair for the older child, as last year's pair is still in such good shape that the younger one can wear them,. These are the only sandles that I have found that hold up through not just one summer, but two!

I ordered these shoes for ME! Me being a 49 year old woman. I typically wear a size running shoe with really thick socks. I ordered a big kids 5 and they fit fabulously. They were perfect right out of the box. And half the cost of the adult shoe equivalent. I found them more comfortable and much easier to put on too. And best yet...they came within 24 hours of ordering.

I bought these for my older son first, who said they were really comfortable. Then my younger son who already had a pair of sandals asked when his pair was coming. Overall, we are extremely happy with these shoes. They look good, feel good, & clean up well (in washing machine on cold & gentle with a towel). They also fit true to size. Will definitely buy more next spring!

Best shoe, ever..... get them dirty and wash them off ... My boys can hike jump in a creek and come home rinse and the shoes are like new. Very comfy I have trouble getting them to wear other shoes.

Keens are the perfect kid's summer shoes. No complaints. Glad to drop the change on these. And, as always, the best part is ordering through Zappos, which, hands down, provides the best customer service in the galaxy. I seriously love this company.

Love these Keens! Keen is about great fit, support and durability. The styles are fun and functional. Everyone in our family loves them.

12 year old son used these on a weeklong canoe trip in Boundary Waters MN. He had no problems and traversed several half mile plus portages in them without issue. He loves them. Zappos did their usual great service with order and shipment.

I bought these sandals because I needed a sandal to wear for kayaking & hiking & other outdoor activities. These have stood up well & I tend to be hard on shoes (as well as most everything!). Even though I am a woman over 30, I have found out that my feet fit a kid 's shoe. I don't need my orthoses with the Newport H2 either! I have since gotten the Mary Janes & a sneaker as Keens seem to have the support that I need.

This is the second pair for my son. He loves the sandals and wears them to school, park, beach, hiking, etc.

Great option for those school systems who require close-toed shoes in order to use the playground equipment. Excellent for the beach as well.

My 4 year old has ridiculously giant feet. These shoes are nice and wide and give him plenty of room. The closed rubber toe helps him not trip over his giant feet (which seem to grow overnight) vs open sandals. They also help, but don't completely stop, from playground mulch getting in. They are relatively easy to get on and off. Recommend wearing with socks for long walks since the top strap can rub a bit.
