This boot/shoe is so cute! I've been looking for a rugged shoe that could double as a tame trail walking shoe, deal with the elements and look good enough for the mall/restaurant/etc. This seems to be it. I'm 9 to 9.5 size, ordered these in a 9, which is perfect. They are tough to get on, I have high insteps, but once on they feel great. I think they'll loosen up with time & wear.

I love this boot. Comfortable from the moment I put them on. I ordered my usual size and they are perfect, with room for a great pair of wool socks! I have a slightly wide foot especially in the toe box.

This boot is wonderful. I wore it as my primary shoe for about a year and a half. It was well worth the money. The shoe fit well, was comfortable, durable, and generally great!

These booties are great. Too bad they are discontinued and Zappos Canada doesn't seem to have Keen brand. I have hard to fit feet = wide "pancake" feet with long little toes, plus I wear a soft orthotic that takes another width. Most wide women's shoes are too narrow in the toe and arch, but because they didn't put the plastic sole high up on the arch area they fit really well. YAY! I am on a perpetual shoe shop. If I can find a pair or two I will buy more of these! I tried on a dozen Keen shoes and 1/2 dozen sandals. These fit very well (the shoe and Mary Jane in this style are too shallow in the heel). Almost always I end up with my toes crammed into the end of a shoe; going a larger size they'll bend in the wrong place. These are terrific. Another plus was the extra height: a low boot but not quite a boot. Took insole out, my inserts fit and away I went. The ankle gives my broken ankle the little extra support it needs. No, they don't come on and off quickly, hence I tracked a bit of dirt inside, but that's okay. I find they are most comfortable if I lace them this way - lace as usual, leaving top two holes unlaced, then, instead of crossing over, take the lace and put it straight up into the next hole. Then cross the lace, running it through the straight up loop, tighten, cross over again and tie. It cinches up at the top of the foot without tightening the foot and then the ankle can be tightened as tight as needed. Good for solid walking, then you can ease off the top part for comfort if you are just knocking around but not all and all out trucking. Or can leave the top part more or less untied. I highly recommend these. Buy them now while you can. Who knows when Keen will make another shoe that fits like this. I am new to Keen and find, after trying another dozen pairs and styles that most of them fit different. Even same style in different fabric/leather can fit different because the insole will be made with a harder or softer material. Purchased a pair of "whisper" sandals a few days ago. There's still snow on the ground and I am wearing them indoors instead of slippers. They looked really narrow but seem to be a great fit. Make my feet look longer and narrower than they are but they are soft and comfy. They don't look like they have much arch but I'm finding them more supportive than I expected. They are soft and very flexible. I'd go barefoot if I could and the whispers are super comfy shoes/sandals. Guess where they got the name? ... Whisper. These Napas are on at a good price. Even with dollar exchange I paid close to another $40-50 for them in a store here. I thought I'd wear them into early winter, but my feet get cold easy and started getting chilly. I wore them one day when it was wet and it felt like they would probably slip once it got icy. Oh and another tip...I figured I'd cook in them when the weather got warm, but I bought a pair of bamboo rayon socks. Sure like them! They are thin socks. I expected my feet to feel all soggy and wet when the days started getting warm, but the rayon seems to pull the moisture away. My usual light cotton socks would have felt soggier at the end of the day. Once the days were in the 80s I opted for sandals unless I really needed the support. Yes, it gets hot in Canada. Cold winters, but where I live can get up over 100F in the summer. Cheers to happy feet and Keen [although if they didn't put the hard toes on everything I could probably fit more of them].

I bought this shoe in the Dark Natural Synthetic color. It is even better in person! It looks way more expensive than it is. The snakeskin-looking material is very authentic looking. The colors are great, very neutral and goes with everything. And the shape of the Barbe is amazing, it is a sexy shoe but also comfortable. It really is the perfect pump. It looks good with jeans and work clothes. I am definitely going to purchase more of the Barbe in different colors!
