At last! I've been looking for a comfortable, dressy, classy, stylish black heel. I have a large foot (size 10, wide, and one foot is reconstructed from a serious fracture & has a bunion). It's always a challenge for me to find shoes with form & function & comfort. I appreciate the adjustable velcro strap over the top of shoe, keeps my feet securely planted in the shoe. The only glitch is that the back strap is a tad loose on the ankle. Since I won't be running or walking too fast in these heels, my ankle/heel stays secure despite this & doesn't slip out. The heel is thicker than a traditional high-heel shoe or stiletto, making your steps more secure. I feel like my feet are firmly planted on the ground. I will be able to wear these shoes when dressing up and not have to worry about taking them off after an hour because of pain. Also wearable with nice slacks or jeans.

I work in a bank. I have to look professional while spending a lot of time on my feet. I am so very happy with the comfort. The look is also professional enough for most outfits. Wow, are they comfortable.

I've had these for almost three years now and they are absolutely, bar none, the most comfortable tall shoes I've ever had. I've bumped into several folks wearing them and they all concur; miraculous. Great, great shoes! PS. I think there's a reason they're still making the exact same shoe. They're perfect.

I love them, I love them, I love them! Saw someone with these shoes some time ago but was out of work and couldn't afford them. So happy to see them here - and happy to be working so I could buy them. Will be buying other colors soon!

I love these shoes and I was so excited to get them- I tried them on and wore them around the house- very comfortable BUT the heel strap is just a bit too long, so my heel felt like it was constantly slipping out. I could take them on and off without undoing the strap, which would be okay if it was designed to fit like that, but it just feels like they are constantly slipping off. I have to return them. Also I would say 3 stars overall because this strap is so sadly too long. I couldn't change it.

These shoes are great! I don't wear heels very often and was happy to find that these shoes are pretty comfortable. There's plenty of room for my toes!

I'm in love with these shoes! For too many years I crammed my poor feet into cute shoes that, over time, ruined my feet. Church or out to dinner was about the maximum time I could endure in heels and even then I was limping the next day. I saw these and thought, maybe? Yes! These are brilliant right out of the box. The angle for your big toe is not extreme. The toe box is roomy and the vamp does not cut into my foot across the toe joint. They're fashionable, they're high heels and I could (and will) dance with happiness in these shoes. Thank you Tsubo! I'll do testimonials for you.

I flat-out LOVE this heel! It doesn't feel like a "high heeled shoe" at all. I could see myself walking or standing in this without complaints. It is sturdy, has no uncomfortable rubbing spots, and there is plenty of room in the toe box, without being too large. Further, the rubber sole does its part to discourage slips. Additionally, the instep strap adds an extra support, which helps alleviate some of the balance from the ankles. My ONLY complaint with this shoe is the color palette. I would love to see the black in an interesting texture, the "Elephant" (grey) with a slight metallic sheen, and maybe a patent leather green or something unusual. Net/net: These are a fantastic choice for business and "utilitarian" purposes. I wouldn't give them high marks for sex appeal, but if paired with a great pair of legs and an amazing skirt, the shoes will fade into the background. If that's what you're looking for, look no further.

Heels are not a part of my regular wardrobe. My feet are a challenge to fit. I bought these to wear for my daughter's upcoming wedding, and am pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they are. The size 9 was a little big, so I traded for an 8.5, which fits comfortably.

I'm not a very graceful heel-wearer, but the platform-ish style and chunky heel make me feel stable and give me the height I'm looking for. Most notable about these shoes is that there was no need to break them in. I haven't done any long distance walking with them, but I've stood in them for 2-3 hours at a time without any discomfort. I also like the peekaboo pink, which makes these a little different from your basic black pump, but is also subtle enough to not clash with colors that might not necessarily vibe with pink.

I love this shoe, its absolutely comfortable without sacrificing style. However, I recommend everyone at least order a half size smaller since it definitely ran large on my foot.

BEAUTIFUL shoe. Gorgeous color, nice quality leather, well made. As other reviewers have noted, the heel does run a bit wide and that's why I had to return them. But, I WISH they worked. Give 'em a try!

Color is not as pictured on the brown! I thought the brown was a darker color when it is actually very light, more of a light camel or khaki color. Otherwise, awesome look and comfortable shoe!!! The back strap is really comfortable and is so wide that it covers most of the heel.

I wear comfort shoes and these are my only pair of heels. My boyfriend says there is something so sexy about the pink insides of the black pair I bought and I have to agree. They stand out as special with both skirts and pants and I feel pretty each time I wear them. The design is extremely unique and that makes them look expensive. I have worn them to work a few times (10 hours with a subway ride) but I literally get terrible pain from wearing heels. These don't give me pain, but I am ready to take them off at the end of the day. For special occasions, however, they stand out (I always get a least one compliment and the what kind are they question) and comfortable.

Love them! Purchased two colors. Perfect for work - Wore all day the first day in total comfort. Back band is a little loose but I can live with that. Balance between heel and platform is perfect which is so incredibly difficult to find.

I've never written a review before but I just had to write about the Tsubo Acrea. Lately I can't find any comfortable shoes, everything is uncomfortable, gives me blisters, etc. Well this shoe is a revelation! I wasn't sure at first, looks a little odd, heel a little higher than I usually wear, wasn't sure it was comfortable enough. Wore it around my house a few times because I really wasn't sure but wanted to like it. Finally took the plunge and wore them to work, and am so glad I did. They've become more comfortable every time I wear them, I literally forget I'm wearing heels! I've ordered them in every color! They may run a little big, I'm usually an 8 or 8 1/2 but I'm wearing 7 1/2 in these. If you're like me, and can't wear regular heels with stiff material that compresses your heel and toes, try these! I don't even think they look odd anymore, kind of cool looking!

I loved this shoe right out of the box! Very stylish, true to size, and lovely craftsmanship. While some say it is comfortable for all day on your feet, I didn't find it nearly as comfortable as a pair of Dansko's for being on my feet all day. Nonetheless, I know it will be perfectly comfortable for a day at the office or a night on the town dancing, but I'll still go for my trusty comfort shoes for all day walking events.

I really love these shoes! They are very comfortable; however, after 10 hours I do get sore feet but that after 9 hours. I would not be able to say that with ordinary heels (30 minutes). I am used to wearing gym shoes and Sanita clogs, so my feet are not used to heels, but I can use these. I highly recommend them and they have pretty pink inside with padding in the ball and heel areas along with rubber soles. The back feels like it's going to flop off your foot but it never does. Regardless, I highly recommend this shoe.

Best shoe I've ever purchased. So comfortable and easy to walk. I'm not great in heels and I'm tall. This shoe works for anyone if I can make it look good. Many compliments from strangers. I'll buy in every color and always review this brand.

I have been looking for a comfortable and stylish pump for eons. When I came across the Acrea and read the reviews, I decided to give it a try. I now have the shoe in all four colors that Zappos offers. For a shoe with this high a heel, it's surprisingly comfortable. The wide slingback keeps it from feeling rigid. And it looks awesome. I get loads of compliments every time I wear it.

Love, Love, Love these shoes! So cute and they will be comfortable once I get used to wearing heels again. I haven't worn a heel in years. I now want a pair in every color!

These shoes are fantastic! I bought one pair and had to go back and buy them in the red as well. They are a perfect balance of classy with a touch of sassy...and most importantly are comfortable. Highly recommended! The size was slightly larger than what I normally wear.
