For being a heel, these are very comfortable. The cushioned foot bed, the wide toe box, the stable shank and the mobile back strap all contribute. They are great with pants but too clunky or orthopedic looking, in my opinion, to wear with a skirt or dress.

These shoes are very cute but they run big. It seems like the European sizes on them are the accurate ones and the US sizes are off but at least 1/2 a shoe size. Also the strap on the back feels loose.

I love this shoe! So much, I own two pair. But I want to warn against buying the mid-brown. It's almost a nude color and the leather has worn pretty terribly. I wear them often even still and it looks like the dye in my dark blue jeans has rubbed off on the shoe and caused them to have a discolored, stained look. I love my pair in black, but the mid-brown haven't held up as well. I also ordered the fatigue/citronelle because I was desperate for a pair of these in brown, but I had to send them back because they're a weird army greenish color. I don't know what Tsubo has against making a regular brown shoe! If that's what you're looking for, none of these colors fit the bill. 100% true to size for me.

Okay, so first everyone complimented me on how cute they looked. Then I wore them to a store and noticed that the heel slips out from under you on linoleum and smooth surfaces. The heel base is made of plastic and not rubber. I will go to the shoe repair shop and replace that, but a cute shoe.

These are gorgeous. I usually wear a 7 1/2 but the heel slips. I am returning to try a smaller size. Very comfy. :)

I don't generally do heels, but I can do these! I am all about comfortable footwear, but trying to find shoes that give me a style lift, these fit the bill perfectly! They look great with a dress and amazing with slacks. I followed other suggestions and ordered a 1/2 size down, and that worked for me.

So cute, not comfy. Disclaimer: I don't generally wear heels due to bunion surgery (as a result of wearing heels), but I need a pair so ordered the 8.5 and 9. These shoes are so adorably quirky, cute and well-made, but the 8.5 was tight on those bunion bones and both were loose in the heel even after tightening the strap. I tried some gel pads to no avail. Hopefully they'll fit your feet better than they did mine.

I love the shoes, but they run very big. I am usually an 11, I ordered a 10 and have to return them because they're too big!

Very cute shoe, but not made for wide feet. Usually width is not a factor in most shoes, but as soon as I put these on, OUCH! They pinched the top of my instep, right near the toes. I couldn't keep them on for more than 5 mins. Too bad, because I totally loved these shoes.

These are really cute and pretty comfortable for a heel. The only problem is that the dye seems to be uneven on every pair in the Coral color. I have ended up sending every pair back. For that price, I can't live with that much imperfection. I bet darker colors are okay. Too bad, because they are really pretty and cute. I found them to be true to size.

Two things: (1) Super duper comfortable shoe. Like no other brand I've tried -- and I have tried a lot. (2) Really weird looking. Looks like what a lady hobbit would wear if she wanted to put on heels. I guess the comfort comes from the wide toe box, and high hidden platform. In terms of comfort, the result is stupendous -- you really feel like you are wearing a shoe with a heel of about 1.5 inches or so. And you don't have that feeling of about to fall off the platform and break my ankle that you can get with platform shoes. So in terms of comfort, I can't say enough good things. That said, I had to return these shoes. They are just too dorky looking -- odd sort of clog like look. I really did want to like them though, and would try another by this same brand.

I really wanted to love these. They look great and the leather slingback is very soft. I tried them on as soon as they arrived and found them very comfortable. But the next day I found that my arches would ache when wearing them. I think the stiff forefoot of the shoe is good for some, but it kept my foot flexed in a position that was ultimately uncomfortable. Sadly, they'll be returned.

These looked really interesting online, but were a little boring in person. The toe was surprisingly a little tight and the heel band was not, so just not the right shape for my foot. The heel was super comfortable, and they materials seemed to be a very good quality, and a great shape. I returned them though. They looked sort of boring and there is no excuse for a boring black shoe.

I tried these because others with foot issues said they were comfortable all day out of the box. I tried them and they were just too high for me. Too much pressure on front pad of foot and foot slipped forward and toes bumped the front. I have major foot problems, arthritis, toe surgeries and bunions and keep hoping I can find a comfortable shoe with a heel. I guess I will just stick to clogs. Very pretty though!

I thought this shoe would be perfect for me I loved the wide toe but unfortunately I could not get a size to fit me. The leather was very hard also so I have to return both sizes.

I wanted to like this shoe - needed a comfortable city shoe. However, it was too clunky and earthy looking for work. It would be cute with tights and a funky shirt but not for career wear. The strap on the back was was too loose and the arch support actually hurt. I bought these in the coral color as well - both will be returned.

Cute, and I had high expectations of these shoes after they received so many positive reviews, but not near as comfy as I had hoped. The balls of my feet were starting to ache the first time I tried them on and walked around the house to see how they would feel! I can't imagine wearing them all day! There's no more padding in them than your average shoe with just a thin layer. Dansko has heels that, while not as dressy, are way more comfortable!

Best high heel shoes! Good fit, comfortable, last a long time. Please make more!

Fits perfectly, looks great, and very comfortable

I really wanted to like these... but, just not comfortable enough to warrant the price. I am going to send them back, and stick with Calvin Klein Ashley shoe, as I know it works for me! On the other hand, love my new Wacoal bra.. fits great! Zappos shipping is amazingly fast!

I bought the Acrea about 4 years ago on sale and I only wish I'd purchased another pair or 3 while they were at a special low price that I could afford then. These are THE most comfortable heels I've ever worn. I'm on my feet in an office about 90% of the day, but these provide the style and comfort I need to get through the workday without even feeling like I'm in heels. I wear 7.5 E width shoes (short wide feet)... yep they're clodhoppers, so knowing they didn't offer wide width sizes I went up a half size and they're perfect. I mostly wear them with socks and sweater tights, so my toes aren't floating in the toe box. The velco mary-jane strap also helps me to adjust for the best fit since they are a bit longer. Bravo, TSUBO, and thanks for carrying these, ZAPPOS!

LOVE this shoe! Just need a 1/2 size smaller, otherwise the strap slides off the back of ankle while walking. Very comfortable.

These are wonderful heels. Extremely comfortable. They have good arch support and a nice roomy toe box. I have feet that are wide across the toes, narrow heel, high arches. I walk miles in these without a problem! They're also very well made. The denim accent on the heels is really fun.

Beautiful. These shoes are soft and very comfortable. I have flat feet and can only buy certain shoes (heels/flats). I will be purchasing a second pair.

LOVE these! Much more elegant in the mirror than when looking down at the show. European sizes, so if you order 8.5 you will get a 39.5, which is too big for me. I have to send back and get an 8 (if they have them!).
