The first pair had a manufacturing defect, a distinct ridge in the right insole. The shoes were unwearable like that (especially for the price). The second pair had exactly the same defect in exactly the same place, a ridge where the right insole was improperly glued. I'm sad; I've worn out two pairs of these shoes - it took a long time - and was eager to enjoy and wear out a third pair. On a scale of 1 - 10: zero for the shoes and 10+ for Zappos' customer service.
