Very cute shoe. Beautiful soft leather but feels at least a half size too short. Really disappointed since there is no larger size available.

I have very high insteps and high arches...these shoes with the adjustable cord around the instep are comfortable although I am going to get a liner for some extra cushioning under my foot. I do like the look and have had a few compliments on them. Usually wear 40 and needed a 41, they fit well.

I had high hopes for this shoe, but had to return them. My heels were slipping out with every step. Since the length the width through the ball of the foot were fine, I didn't see how a smaller size would help. Also, after reading other reviews I was under the impression these would be very cushiony and supportive, but I found them only average in this respect.

Tried on the 36 in the store (a little too small), so felt safe ordering the 37. Had to send it back because it was too large. Apparently I'm in-between these two sizes (usually I'm a US6). If I could wear thick socks all the time, I would have kept them, but my husband thought that was just stupid, so I sent the back. Too bad.

Arch support not great -
I guess I need more support than those who wrote that this shoe has good arch support. I love Mephisto's orthopedic foot beds - didn't expect that - but hoped for more support than this. The toe is a little flat for me, too, pushes down on my toes some, but am hoping that a little wear will correct that.

Not easy being green -
Absolutely comfortable; but the green is absolutely, um, not pretty. According to my monitor, the green looks really rich and deep; what it is, though, is a depressingly pale pea green. So -- back they go; but I've already ordered them in black. They are comfortable, and weirdly cool looking, in a sort of funky, unstructured way. As for size, I wear an 8 or 8 1/2, and the 39 is fine.

Nice Shoe -
Love this Arcopedico New Queen II. At first I thought this shoe was too small. However, the leather is so soft that it soon stretches oh so little. I am a (7) and this shoe is for 6 1/2-7. Lots of room in the toe box. Looks good with jeans, skirts and shorts or capris. I got the brown which is a blah color but the fit is fabulous and now I don't wear any other shoe because of the comfort. I plan on buying more colors. I put an innersole in them for my bunions and arch support and just more comfort & cushion. This helps with my arthritis in the feet. The price is somewhat high for me but foot comfort is my highest priority. I just got my husband to buy (2) pairs of shoes from Zappos. He was amazed with the service. Zappos is so helpful and considerate. I truly thank them for their help and patience. I won't buy shoes anywhere else.

These shoes were a 9 medium width. I usually need a 9 W in shoes but have another pair from Arcopedico in a medium that fits so decided to try these. They were smaller than expected. My toes were right up to the front of the shoe. They were too tight and I was not crazy about the style and how they looked on my feet so didn’t want to order a size up.

This shoe simply does not fit my foot in length or width. Have loved other Arcopedico styles, so am disappointed that this one does not work for me. It is an attractive shoe, but does not offer the support and fit I need.

I own a beloved pair of these in orange that are decades old. The leather is butter soft. The soles disintegrated finally. When I held my old pair up to my new pair to my old pair they were a half inch shorter

Fit fine, I put in my own arch supports. I wore these comfy leather flats a few times in two or three years. I packed them for my trip abroad. First time out of the luggage the souls sadly turned to mush & deteriorated badly. I was unable to salvage them and sadly tossed them. Pretty disappointed.

I'm not entirely sure I'm keeping these. I had the original model which I feel was much better. In the old one, the sock ling was leather. I don't know what this new stuff is. The old one had very soft leather. This new one is stiff. The old one had a nice brand, though not "wide" fit but this new one is kind of snug, just ever so slightly narrower. I'm so disappointed! The original was so, so comfortable as well as stable and supportive. Just what my aching joints needed. Why, oh, why did the company change this wonderful shoe?

I tried on the right shoe and I thought I had a winner, it was soo comfortable. Unfortunately I tried on the left shoe and it was tight around the instep. It was the kind of tight that you know would stop you from wearing these shoes. I'm not sure but I do believe they were defective because I also rec'd a pair of Clarks shoes and it was the right shoe that was too tight and the left shoe was fine. Go figure! They need to go back.

I was hopeful that because these were as expensive as they are they would be well made and have very good arch support and perhaps a soft footbed. I was disappointed in them. So, I am returning them. Also, if you have any issues with your ankles swelling, as I do when I travel, these are not for you.

I liked them but even with a thick sock they were just too large. Eu sizing 35= US 4-4.5. Just not true for this or most other shoes. Really a USA size 5.

This was a very "soft" shoe and if it weren't so hideously ugly in person, I might have kept it. I will continue to look for this brand -- it worked well with my bunions and my plantar fascitis but my hubs couldn't stomach the look and it just wasn't worth fighting for.

I bought these with so much hope that they would be comfortable and my "shoe salvation". I was sadly not impressed. The toe box is short and low and pinches the toenails. I always wear a 38. They must run small. I love Zappos and don't fault the company.

These shoes felt a little tight at first, but after wearing around the house for 30 minutes at a time, the opening stretched out. They fit fine EXCEPT the height of the toe box is not particularly generous and there is a hard panel reinforcing the toe box that makes it excruciatingly painful to wear the shoes after an hour of standing or walking. The toe box is plenty wide and I’ve got enough room between my toe and the end of the shoe, so sizing up a half size would not help. I do have a bunion and my right toe overlaps my second, which causes it to hurt worse than my left foot (bunion has been repaired), but the left foot hurts, too. These shoes might work if you had no foot problems, but I can’t recommend for bunion sufferers.

I couldn't get my foot in them! I usually wear 42 in this brand, but the bridge across the front was so tight I couldn't get my whole foot in the shoe!

I had problems with shoe sizes. The 38 was too small and the 39 too large. I ended up giving the 39s to my daughter. This was not a s satisfactory experience for me. The shoes are great I have 2 other pairs. the sizing is a problem.

Nice looking show, soft leather, adjustable fit by pulling toggle (which helps with my narrow heel)...but the anatomical footbed lined only with uncushioned suede leather does not provide enough support for my flat arches or tendency to pronate inward. Because I have great difficulty finding a good fit in a closed heel and toe shoe, I wanted to keep this pair...so I ordered 3 different styles of Orthaheel inserts for full, 3/4 and arch/heel. The comfort and support improved somewhat, but not enough to make me keep this expensive shoe, made more expensive by having to order inserts. IF the footbed 'cupped' my heel as it sits in to shoe (to prevent heel shifting) as well as provided what I expect and need as arch support and pronation control, along with light cushioning, it would improve the shoe in my opinion. I wear 8.5, ordered 8.5 and using the toggle to pull the top of the shoe as snug as possible, the shoe does fit...otherwise, that is the best I can say.

I have worn the Queen style Arcopedico shoes for at least 20 years. They are my favorite shoes. I just wore out my last pair in pewter, so I ordered a new pair. When they arrived I very excitedly tried to try them on. I could not get them on my feet. The width has changed. They are distinctly narrower than the previous pairs I have ordered. I am very disappointed and upset because my feet are hard to fit and I have counted on Arcopedico for comfort.

Many detailed positive reviews caught my attention. I was unhappy to find that these shoes were a lot lighter and flimsier than they looked in the photo. I found the fit small and tight, especially in the top of the toe, and when I took a test walk around the house, that the structure and padding were lacking. The style was more "old" and square than it looked in the photo as well. These went back in the box immediately.

I found these shoes to be very narrow. There's a little elastic bungee on top that is adjustable. Even at the widest setting, it is tight enough to cut into the top of my foot. I wore them thinking they would stretch out, but sadly they never did. I also have a Mary Jane by Arcopedico and have had the same issue.
I do not have this issue with shoes typically, and definitely not with "comfort shoe" bands like Naot, Mephisto, etc.

These shoes were a total disappointment -- they are too short, not a real 42, not cushioned enough for a shoe advertised as comfortable for walking, and they actually hurt my feet. I do not think they are worth their price.
