My favorite shoes - I bought two pairs of these (brown and black) for a trip to Europe this fall. I wore them non-stop, right out of the box, with no socks. They were the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I walked between 5 and 10 miles a day in these shoes without problem. They are also very quiet, and have excellent traction on cobblestones and uneven pavement. My only problem was with the black pair. The elastic cord recently broke. Zappos came to my rescue and overnighter me a replacement pair! I am a VERY happy customer, and a very big fan of these shoes. By the way, now that it's cold, I do wear them with a thin sock.

Picky wider foot - Loved these shoes the minute I saw them on my bf who overpaid for them locally. Had to stretch the L arch area to fit.

Very forgiving shoe - This shoe will fit almost ANY foot because of their adjustment pull cord on the top. And the leather is so soft that it conforms to your foot. There could be some arch support for my liking. My foot is wide and it works pretty well.

The shoe looks great - but it felt a little smaller than it should. In particular, my toes were kind of cramped. The shoe is also not as comfortable as I had expected.

Great except too short.

These look like they would be so comfortable in the picture. These are the first shoes that actually gave me cramps after trying to wear them for a couple of hours. The upper leather portion is very soft and comfy, the fit is not. Had I not tried to "break them in" I would have returned them. As another reviewer mentioned, the right foot toe box is tighter than the left. Almost as though both shoes were cut from a left foot pattern. I will be passing these on to someone else who may be just the right fit for these.

Defective. There's a piece of reinforcing thick paper in the toe box that was not properly glued. It hung down and your toes caught on it. They run a 1/2 size small. They are dark brown, not black. That's a lot of cons for a shoe at this price.

What a disappointment. Shoes look much better on website than in "real life." Cheaply made and a nerve to charge $145. No comparison to my similar Clarks. They are on their way back. First time I returned anything to Zappo's that wasn't related to fit!

Even though my daughter says these look like medieval peasant shoes, I think they're cute. And they would be very comfy if it were not for the extra bone at the top of both my feet making them too tight.

I love these shoes, but I have an extra bone at the top of both my feet and these shoes cut right into that spot.

Due to a bunion my second toe is raised and rubs against the shoe. Since there isn't room for socks to reduce friction, I need to return the shoes.

Cute shoes that fit well. I wear a 7 in most shoes, but buy a 7.5 in athletic shoes. 38 is perfect for me in most Arcopedico shoes. These shoes are soft leather and fit my narrow heels while accommodating my bunions with a wide, rounded toe box. The top feels a little tight, but as with every other soft leather shoe I have purchased, I feel certain these will stretch slightly. The arch support is a little weird in that it hits my foot behind the arch, but it’s not uncomfortable. Overall, I am very pleased with the style and comfortable fit.

Got l/2 size bigger because they didn't have my size but seem perfect. Beautiful leather. Very stylish. Really happy and looking forward to wearing them.

This is one of the most comfortable shoes I own. It is especially comfortable without socks - almost feels like slippers!

These are my favorite shoes for many, many years. Now I purchased a replacement for my worn out Arcopedico shoes.

Great shoes

This shoe fits like a glove to the feet. Very comfortable without socks. I wish i could have ordered one half size larger, but the shoe does tend to become more comfortable with wear when wearing thicker socks.

These shoes are perfect for everyday wear. they are quite snug fitting, especially with socks.

This was my first pair of Arcopedico shoes. Soft and flexible leather with arch support and they needed no breaking in. The 39 fit my 8.5 foot perfectly. I do have somewhat narrow feet.

These shoes are so comfortable! The leather is so soft and they fit my wide foot with the high arch perfectly. The elastic around the edge of the shoes enables you to tighten the fit if necessary, which is perfect since my right foot is a bit wider than my left. I usually don't buy such expensive shoes but I needed comfortable shoes in this style for walking in a parade. Now I have no regrets about the price and might purchase more Arcopedico shoes in the future. They are worth every penny!

I've been buying a pair of these shoes every few years. They fit perfectly. I love the slightly rounded toes, since I tend to trip if shoes are pointed. I'm 75 years old and these are cute comfortable and they are cute for orthopedic shoes. I feel safe in them. I have a pair in brown and a pair in red, so just in case they stop making them I bought a pair in black recently. I wish they carried more colors. They are pricey but they last for years.

I was looking for a black slip-on to be my only shoe on a 3 week summer trip. This was immediately very comfortable, seemed well-made, and looked pretty good. But it's not for summer. I will probably buy this when I need a shoe for any other season.

This is the third pair of these shoes that I have purchased. Third pair because I wear them out, I wear them so often. They are perfectly comfortable and look pretty good for a casual, comfortable shoe - not clunky.

Love these shoes! have been wearing them for years when I discovered them in Sag Harbor,LI. 15 years ago! Have them in 4 colors. Get many compliments on them.
