These really are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn. I had some older ones and was so glad to find them here. I have had these 3 years now and they are perfect and still feel amazing. And Zappos was of course, excellent!

The best #1 thong sandals! I was wearing a pair of croc thong sandals I bought last year. The piece by the toe broke so I had to toss them. I was just going to get another pair, but thought I would look around for more sturdy/snug thong sandals. I saw these surfing around on Zappos. At first glance I totally loved them. The reviews were very high so I decided to order them. I have a wide foot (11 EE womens) and wasn't sure if the men's D would fit me right. I ordered a 10D in Mens. I received them in a few days. Let me tell you they fit me perfect to the tee like they were molded for my feet! They look sharp & are absolutely super comfortable. I liked my crocs, but these have out beat them by a long shot. I love them so much I can't tell you enough.

On-On - After receiving my Teva Elixer 5, I tested their durability by wearing them for a half-marathon. For the past six months, I've ran them uphill, downhill, through the creek, through the coral-bottom ocean (they float) and back. These sandals have held up like a champ. I will definitely purchase another pair, if these ever wear out.

A word about fit and sizing... First, these are great sandals I do highly recommend them. But many reviews here felt they run larger. I agree. I normally wear a 1.0.5 or 11 depending on the brand, mostly 11 (Actually, like many folks, my feet are different with the left foot being closer to an 11 while my right a 10.5 - so every pair of shoes never fit perfect!) I ordered these in a 10 after reading the reviews. At first, I thought they were too small, and I strongly considered trading for my normal size 11's. With the strap pushed all the way (but not discomforting) between my bid toe and "index toe", my heel comes almost up to the end the sandal, which is curved upward. There was no extra room. To some, this may be a perfect fit - others may consider this tight. If my foot was at an angle (for example, worn while driving with my feet on the pedals), or if I had them on loosely (strap not all the way in between toes) my heel threatened to come off the back end - but didn't. Yet the front of the sandals seemed to have ample room with some of the foot bed overhanging from my toes. Maybe I have short toes; I don't know. Also, the part that wraps over the top of the foot was not too tight nor loose, just about right. However, this part seemed to not align with the sandal bed - as my foot was in the strap correctly, but the bed was on crooked, or if a twisted it so the bed was on straight, the top wrap would be pulled tight on one side and loose on the other. After a break-in period of 2 - 3 weeks, this problem has seemed to work itself out, and the sandal fits well now - not crooked. Again, maybe it's just the way my feet are built. Lastly, after wearing to the pool, wet feet did not fit as well into the sandal as dry feet, and had to work hard to insert my wet feet. Again, this problem seems to be getting better with time and wear as well. In closing, a great overall sandal, but be aware of some potential sizing issues that mostly work themselves out after the initial break-in.

My favorite Flip-flop - I've been a Teva Elixer wearer for the last 10 years!! I just bought my third pair. These flip-flops are comfortable, durable, and the microban keeps them from smelling. My Elixers are daily worn (when it's warm enough) and have been great at the beach, during easy to medium technical hikes, and day-to-day. They are more expensive than most flip-flops but you get what you pay for...I average about 5 years per pair.

My fave flip - This is my 3rd pair in 6 yrs. This is the only flip flop I wear. Sturdy enough 4 light hiking, dries quickly when wet. Looks great with jeans and khakis. I’ll continue 2 buy until they stop making them.

If you have wide feet, don't size down - Based on the other reviews here, I ordered a size 13 for my boyfriend (who would usually take a 14 or 13 wide). This was simply not big enough. He said that the band was too tight across his foot. So, for all you guys with wide feet, don't size down!! I called Zappos about an exchange today, and they said they would ship out the size 14's before I even mailed the size 13's back! So, even if you get the wrong size, you know the exchange will be hassle-free. Thanks Zappos!

Easy walking with maximum comfort - These are without a doubt the most comfortable flip flop style sandals I've ever worn. They look great, feel great, are true to size (maybe even a half size large so don't order a size larger for sure), and look great. They are just as great walking around the neighborhood as wearing around the house. Plus, they have super arch support. I had to return another pair of sandals that came with this order because they were too tight and again Zappos made that process super easy. Love Zappos!
