Best flip ever! This flip has the best arch support and can be worn for long periods of time.

Extremely comfortable sandal for long walks or for all day wear. Material grips your foot and stays dry ... wears very well.

Awesome shoe! I was looking for a shoe that was both comfortable and stylish and this is it! I put them on and didn't want to take them off. I wanted a flip flop that would stay on my foot and be sturdy enough to run after my 4 1/2 year old son -- so far so good! I liked the Bracken color so I bought the men's shoe 2 sizes smaller than my regular women's size and it fit perfectly. I definitely recommend it!

Excellent and comfortable flip-flop! The sandal/flip-flop is very comfy, giving the foot plenty of support. I feel like I can wear these anywhere and to any occasion, and still look good. Sometimes the part of the flip that goes between the big toe and next toe over chaffs a little bit, but I do have a pretty big big toe. Perhaps it's just me, since I haven't worn flip-flops in a while, but I have to curl my toes a bit to keep the flip on my foot, when walking. Overall, for a flip, it can't be beaten for walking comfort and style.

Teva is the best flip for summer! This is my second pair of Teva Elixer. My first pair is 3 years old and still going strong, but a little on the dirty side, so I purchased these for those nicer Teva-wearing occasions! I am a woman who wears a 10 or 11, so I got the men's size 8, and they fit wonderfully. I really like the new, more aggressive sole on the Elixer 5, and the upturned toe and heel ends. I wear these shoes probably 4-5 days a week and they never fail to keep me cool and comfortable. I got the bracken color, and it goes well with many different outfits. (See, I really am a woman!) I would recommend this shoe to any man or woman who wants a casual, comfortable, sturdy sandal. I went hiking once in my old pair, and they did just fine! The wide strap is set back a little farther than a normal flip flop, which helps to keep the shoe on. Teva has my vote for best flips!

Sweet!!! A Flip without the Flop... Just got these ones in the mail, and boy am I impressed. They grip your feet and the arch support is unlike anything I've felt on a sandal. They look and feel super durable... Truly the best flips yet!!!

Comfortable, sturdy and light - I take a women's size 9.5 or 10 and ordered this in an 8. The fit is comfortable and I have no discomfort between my toes which is sometimes the case with this type of sandal. This shoe is very lightweight but has a durable sole and will take a beating. I don't recommend this for women with very narrow feet though as it has a wider sole.

Great New Design - I waited for a month for the new design from the Elixer 3 to get the Elixer 5 and I have to say it was worth the wait. I have the Terra Fi-2 Teva's and these are the flip flop version of them. If I could live my life in Teva's I would and these are the most comfortable flip flops I have ever owned.

Slow start, nice finish - After reading the reviews here I bought these for a trip to Mexico. Initially they felt a little stiff, and the coating on the sole and the thong between my toes made my feet feel a little raw. However, after a day or two walking around, I forgot I had them on! Good cushioning for the heel, decent arch. I normally wear an 11.5, but the 11 fit just fine.

Good supportive sandal, was better - I have owned several earlier versions of this sandal over the last 5 years and with each new model I have liked it a slight bit less - although it is still my favorite thong sandal. Earlier versions were cushier with better arch support although I would still say the current model has very good arch support. I tend to get plantar fasciitis and my feet are very sensitive to lack of arch support. I can walk/run around in these sandals all day without complaint. The sizing has been and continues to be nutso. I am an 11.5 in just about every shoe and the 11's in these were way too big-I gave my pair away to a friend who has 12.5 feet and they fit him perfectly. I bought 10s and they fit great. Buy a full size smaller and you'll be happy.

My husband is a flip flop fanatic! I ordered these Teva flip flops as a replacement for his old 5 pairs of similar Teva flip flops. We live in Portland, OR, but my husband wears these year round and gave his old pairs rough service. They held up beautifully. We also like the microban coating on the foot bed and Teva is one of the few brands that has it. The only down side is the little "up slope" at the back. It works well to keep them on, but makes it a little difficult to get them on.

Good shoe, but could use a little more support in the arch.

Elixer 5 - I like these sandals, very sturdy and comfortable. I don't think they're as attractive as the previous model. Shoes are size 11, I normally were 10.

Maybe, maybe not... First, I noticed that the 10-1/2 was a tad snug and the 11 was too big. I decided to go with the 11's. Now my issue with them is that the toe strap seems to be too forward, and now to get a proper fit, I need to slide my foot towards the front and that leaves almost 1/2 inch of heel room. Second, they both fell apart within 2 months of purchase. The sole is glued in two layers and the bottom-most layer is now flopping like an alligator’s mouth. Plus the sides and heel on the other are coming undone also...
